Second time going to Dandelion Cafe and definitely won’t be my last!! The food was amazing the service was great and the staff were very helpful explaining the menu items and deals of the day. We went and the had half off mimosas and smoothies. The mimosas are strong and definitely worth the brunch experience. The food was hot and fresh. Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. Definitely would recommend for a quick eat or a casual brunch.
This is my second time eating at dandelion cafe. It was awesome! The first time I went I had the chicken and waffles and It was good. However, at my most recent visit, I had the BLTA and the brown sugar latte and they were marvelous. The BLTA was a little bit garlic-y but it was still delicious. My boyfriend had the honey butter chicken biscuit. He said the chicken was very good. He said the sandwhich itself was a little tall so he had to take it apart.
I love their egg sandwich and coffee options. Definitely try some of their cold pressed juices. The staff is very friendly. Nice outdoors seating.
my husband & i visited this past saturday afternoon. there were a few people there, but no wait. the young lady behind the counter(can't remember her name) was very pleasant & knowledgeable of the food items. we mentioned that it was our first time and she recommended the lemon blueberry french toast, which was amazing!😋 i also had the pollo chicken sausage which she said was made in-house, it was great! my husband had the chicken & waffles, they were delicious, the chicken was cooked perfectly and the waffles were soft & fluffy. we also had a carafe of strawberry & blueberry mimosa.🍾 i think we found our new favorite breakfast spot!😋
Loved the atmosphere the ordering was fast the food came fast the staff was kind. Totes good vibes. It reminded me of being back home in Colorado because of that. The bread for my French toast was light and fluffy. Great portion. My iced chai was ok but I’ve noticed not many places knock that out out of the park. It was very clean! The music was chill and relaxing. I dig it.
Cozy Gem in the Heights — Warm Atmosphere and Excellent Chicken & Waffles This lovely little spot in the historic part of the Heights caught my eye on a cold winter day—its charming architecture and inviting vibe were impossible to miss. The restaurant is small and cozy, but the large windows flood the space with natural light, creating a warm, sunlit ambiance. There’s also outdoor seating surrounded by plants, flowers, and trees, which adds to its welcoming atmosphere. We chose a table by the window to enjoy the sunshine and the view outside. Breakfast arrived quickly, and the service was efficient. They offer plenty of options for kids, which is always appreciated. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were seasoned just right. But the chicken and waffles really stole the show—some of the best we’ve had in the Houston area.
Cute, quaint, and hidden gem in the Heights. It has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxed brunch, and the food is absolutely delicious. Patio seating yes please! Everything feels thoughtfully prepared, comforting, and fresh. One of those places you’re happy you stumbled upon and immediately want to tell people about. Charming brunch spot in the Heights, this one’s a must.
The strawberry French toast were the bomb. This was our second visit. We had the double play and the chicken and waffles. The waffles had a butter that I wasn’t a fan of, both still good. Love the avocado toast and chicken biscuit.
The employees here are so incredibly sweet. The vibe here is so cute, the decorations were nicely selected and curated to create a unique atmosphere. The matcha and chocolate chip cookie were pretty great as well! Would totally recommend :)
Love love love this place. Food was DELICIOUS. They have super fast and attentive staffs, the girl at the front was really sweet and helpful with her recommendations for the dishes. I highly recommend their French toasts. We definitely would love to come back and try the rest of their menus, also their bakery goodies.

I love this place!!! Everting I come I have always had exceptional service. The food is AMAZING… never misses!! The customer service is also always GREAT!! Seating and parking can be limited, so I’d recommend coming at slower times usually I’ll come around 10am/11am. (My most previous was Friday at 11/ 11:30ish and there was a little line, no front parking, and limited available seats.)
Dandelion Café Heights is one of my absolute favorite breakfast spots in the area. Every visit feels welcoming, and the food is always consistently great. I’m especially obsessed with their Build Your Own Omelette — it’s always cooked perfectly, loaded with fresh ingredients, and honestly one of the best ways to start the day. Their breakfast tacos and lattes are also fantastic, but that omelette keeps me coming back. The staff is friendly and upbeat, and the space has that comfortable Heights vibe that makes it easy to relax, catch up with friends, or get a little work done. If you’re in the Heights and want a spot with great food, great coffee, and genuinely kind people, Dandelion Café Heights is a must‑visit!

We went on a Saturday it was packed. There were lost of large parties meeting here today. This was our first time visiting but I am sure it's normally this busy. The food came out quickly after we ordered at the front counter. If it's busy there will be a wait. They do have outdoor seating if the weather permits and a indoor dining area. I would love to visit during the week. The wait in line, the busy dining area kinda took away from my overall experience. The parking is some what limited. Street parking is available however it was limited they day we went due to construction on the road way. The food was fresh, the presentation was wonderful. I will be back!
We had a nice table by the window. The breakfast was pretty good, the eggs were well made, and the coffee was good. The oatmeal had bananas and blueberries. It was delicious. The food was tasty. The service was good and the atmosphere was pretty nice. It is a cozy restaurant with some natural plants as decor.
We were in the Heights and tried Dandelion. The food and coffee were great. The portions were the right amount. The parking was a pain due to the location and construction around the area.
I had the seasonal pumpkin pancakes they were absolutely delicous. The caramel cream cheese and praline pecans were a nice addition. The service was free dly the place was quiet but I went on a Tuesdsy morning.
Great brunch spot in a beautiful neighborhood and historic building. Atmosphere is nice, bustling, energetic. Service was good. Different kind of process with ordering and then finding your own seating. There were 6 of us + a baby so I thought that may be a problem, but we lucked out thankfully. The line to order your food on a Sunday around 11am took awhile, but was ok. The food didn’t take too long to get considering it was very busy. I ordered the Dandy Classic with the pork sausage, hash browns, plus a single pancake. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the plate-sized pancake was so delicious. However, the maple pork sausage and hash browns were decent but not your typical- throwing different spices in that I don’t think really improves the flavor- like trying too hard to make it bougie. Husband ordered the Biscuits and Gravy and he said it was good -with a little spice to it. I tried the Bagel and Lox my friend ordered and I thought it was delicious. Well worth visiting this little gem.

The food and drinks at Dandelion Café are absolutely delicious, and the service is excellent! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming—definitely one of my favorite spots.
Decent spot with very friendly staff and clean this 1st visit. Beautiful location but sad to see local shop Kraftsman baking is no longer here. Prices for food seem fine. Coffee prices are very high. 8oz cup is $4.50, 16 oz is $5.50. if you want them to give you a porcelain cup it is is $6 for bottomless. Despite very friendly helpful staff doing their best it still had a bit of a commercialized feel to it, and they got my order wrong (no worries here if just once. Notice my service rating is still 5 stars). That or the maple sausage has a southwestern green chilis type mash in or something not maple like at all. Certainly whatever sausage they gave me felt like it was on the more frugal side in terms of quality but it was honestly fine just not maple in any way whatsoever lol...not bad you know but not high quality which honestly is a fair trade for the price of the sandwich which was $11 for a pretty decent sized, well prepared breakfast sandwich with deliver to your table service. Overall three stars because the coffee price essentially reflects price gouging. Otherwise it would have been a solid four. Admittedly, I'll probably still return and slowly enjoy my $5 8 oz to go cup coffee with gratitude since I love the location! Pour one out for Kraftsman. Will have to go check out their apparent new location in EADO!

Place had a funky smell upon walking in. Person working the counter was hospitality to others. Funny how people are towards certain demographics but it’s to be expected in this gentrified neighborhood. The pancakes were actually really good. I thought it was just TikTok hype once again but they are really good. They are huge and you probably will take them home like me. The maple sausage had a weird taste. They are flatten and possible no hormones. Maybe that’s why it tasted different to me. Overall I won’t return but try for yourself.
First time here. Food was average. Americano was awful, just awful. French toast was good, not great. Bagel with salmon was average. One surprising factoid was their opening hour - 7am start. I would expect 6am or even 5am. They have a private room that can be reserved.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Dandelion + Cafe. The food was overpriced and the quality didn’t match the cost. The sandwich we ordered was dry, and when we asked for condiments, the staff inside told us they didn’t have any and even said we’d be charged extra for a simple spread. Later, we asked a young lady working outside, and she brought the condiments right out with no issue — so clearly, we were lied to. The service inside was rude and unhelpful, which really ruined the visit. Definitely not worth the price or attitude.

Ordered the Caprese sandwich, hot honey chicken sandwich and hashbrowns, a caramel coffee and a pumpkin frappe. Staff was extremely rude. Caprese sandwich was dark meat chicken, bones and cartilage mixed into it. Horrific. Tasted rotten. The tomatoes were cooked which is weird and should never be in that sandwich. Bread was thin and sandwich was falling apart. Worst i ever had. The hot honey chicken sandwich was burnt. The breading was almost black. The hashbrowns were so burnt it was like eating sticks. The coffee tasted sour and the worst i’ve ever had. The frappe was powdered content and tasted like it. Disgusting. First time trying brunch in Houston and extremely disappointed. Waste of money and overpriced. I don’t see how the experience could have been any worse. Not to mention the wait time of 40 minutes to order STANDING just to wait to get a seat because it was raining and there is not enough seating. Do not come here. Do not recommend. For forty dollars in Houston i expect at least something edible. People around our table were unable to finish their food and looked upset. Do better and worry about the food you create because this is a scam. Stop telling influencers to promote you.
