I must say that out of all of the Brazilian steakhouses I’ve ever eaten it. This is gotta be one of the nicest and most professional staff that I’ve ever encountered. Not only was the food amazing but it was fresh and cooked perfectly to my liking temperature. Anyone in the downtown area who has not had the chance to experience this luxurious and beautiful balanced place. It’s truly missing out on an experience of a lifetime. The general manager and my server was so attentive they made me feel like it was home away from home.
We went here for our first anniversary and it was nothing short of AMAZING! From the service to the food. Worth every penny. They took care of us the entire time consistently checking in, helping us customize our drinks, and served the delicious cuts of meat. Our server also graciously took our picture. The tres leche dessert was sweet and moist. The salad bar was filled with different choices. 10/10 restaurant .
Very nice calm atmosphere, you can come here and wind down. They provide good care and service, the food is nice, dessert is delicious. I can come here and enjoy some great food with good music and vibes. Calm vibes.
Had a wonderful time. We found street parking around the corner. A/C works well here. Made reservations well in a advance and had no issues. Came on a Thursday around 7pm and wasn't too busy. Come in and support local! We will be back again.
An amazing place. I have been to many Brazilian steakhouses as well as enjoyed original Churrasco in Rio. This place definitely is one of the best I have been to.
Coming across this restaurant was really a great experience! The restaurant has an amazing selection of meats and other dishes at their salad bar which complemented our meats perfectly. We were very taken care of by the amazing and welcoming staff. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that’s in town, looking for a place to have a great and relaxing time.
Meat was cooked to perfection, service was spectacular especially DeAngelo he had the Perfect personality for the atmosphere making our night even more enjoyable. The whole experience exceeded my expectations.
Had a great experience. DeAngelo was friendly and had great customer service. Food tasted great, but come with an appetite cause I had to be wheeled out.
I had a mini wedding and we decided to have an intimate dinner here. We were 10 people in total and the service was the best I've ever experienced. Our guests were raving about the place and I am so incredibly happy to have chosen this place to make our wedding memories one I'll never forget. The food, service and ambiance is top tier and I would recommend only this place if you're looking for a romantic Brazilian steakhouse. Thank you Brasas for making my wedding memorable.
The service was excellent and they definitely aired to please. This is my favorite style of dining and I have been to many different Brazilian steakhouses over the years and this one is just as good as the rest. The service however was even better. We were visiting for my birthday and they went above and beyond that gave us a free desert and customize the plate as you can see in the photo. The meet was excellent and I am a meat connoisseur or you may call me a meatatarian LOL thank you
Great experience! The staff is very professional and at the same time friendly. Food just keeps going and going, and its not only the quantity but the taste and the quality of each bite. This is the place where you have to go if you appreciate good meat.
Brasa’s is a unique Brazilian steakhouse in the heart of Houston. Once seated, the salad bar is available for you at any time. I can eat of the salad bar alone, but I recommend leaving room for the Brazilian stile meats. All kinds of meats are available, all delicious, but don’t forget to try the picaña. Don’t forget to thank me later.
Absolutely Adore Brasa's Houston! I'm completely hooked! My first visit was just this past Monday, and I enjoyed the dining experience so much that I came back again tonight, Thursday! The Salad Bar is outstanding—especially the grilled pineapple, which was a first for me and a brilliant surprise. They also introduced me to a Brazilian Lemonade that I completely adore and will be sure to order again. As for the meats, I requested them well-done, and they were delivered perfectly cooked, incredibly well-seasoned, and marinated. Whenever I visit Houston, Brasa's Brazilian Steakhouse will definitely be on my itinerary. Muy bien!
We drove 2 hours for a birthday dinner at Brasa’s and were not disappointed!! They always deliver! We had two sixteen year old boys who loved it all!! Perfect birthday dinner!!! This is the second year we’ve had this celebration and the boys enjoyed the repeat birthday experience. We will definitely do this again!!!
By far the best pub in Houston that we have visited during our stay here in Texas. The wonderful staff were both friendly and a delight to chat to and were very interesting. The evening atmosphere was wonderful with so many clever scientists all chatting together and no phones in sight - what a pleasant change to the usual heads down silence of so many nowadays - you wonder why they go out!!! Thoroughly recommend the Flying Saucer and thank all the staff for their warm welcome from a loving couple from the U.K.!!!
Ok just left this place drunk so I may be biased. I tried their new rattlesnake margarita and it is delicious. I tried the pretzels and pizza and both were good. Every waitress with a skirt has tree trunk legs and looks like they crush watermelons for fun so if that's your thing it's a plus for you. Service was good all around for me.
I arrived at the downtown Flying Saucer on a chilly Sunday night looking for a nice, strong ale to warm me up. Since it was so late, nearby parking wasn't too hard plus, it was free! There's construction along Main Street near the Saucer but, it wasn't much of a obstacle. I went inside and immediately sat myself at the bar and had my order taken by the bartender. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with a side salad and a beer. The wrap came out after a short wait and, I have to say, it was par for the course for bar food. The food had good presentation, looking very appetizing and with good portion sizes. The salad was tasty with fresh crisp lettuce, red onion slices, and mozzarella cheese shavings. The accoutrements of the bar are very much British style pub. Saucers adorn nearly every space of the interior, giving you much to look at as you enjoy your meal. There's ample seating inside the pub, with seats available at either the bar, booths, or tables. The atmosphere here is very sports bar-y and isn't exactly the best joint for a family outing. All-in-all, I'd highly recommend the Flying Saucer to anyone who's looking to have a quick pint from their huge craft beer selection or bite to eat before traversing Downtown.
Stopped by last night for a drink and to see this landmark place. Each plate/saucer represents at least 200 different beers tried over time (and no more than 3 a night). Brought a German coworker who was beyond impressed (and that's not easy to do with Germans with American bars). Emi took care of us, and really made the experience great. Helpful, funny, and attentive. This place has overall great staff. Must try place, and I'll certainly be back.
Great spot, huge selection of beers that will please anyone from the average drinker to the connoisseur of rare beers. Great deal on local beers for Sunday. Had the German Plate which was excellent, waitress forgot to ring it in, but they noticed promptly and without my thought of even asking they went above and beyond to make up for the small mistake. Only suggestion for improvement is one more TV at the bar. Will definitely be back in the future.
Pulled up to Flying Saucer like a moth to a neon flame, and the universe did not disappoint. Snagged the Evil Twin x Flying Saucer collab, a brew so twisted it tastes like your good twin got lost in a wormhole and came back with attitude. It’s dark, it’s decadent, it’s got that interdimensional swagger. Then, boom, Celestial Cosmic Contraband. This isn’t just a beer, it’s a galactic felony in a cup. Notes of stardust, rebellion, and whatever black hole flavor Celestial keeps locked in their vault. One sip and you’re floating somewhere between Saturn’s peaches rings and a Texas rooftop. Flying Saucer’s lineup tonight? Straight alien. Houston, we have lift-off.
Was here this past Saturday for my friend Brianna birthday lunch get together. Had an awesome had german beer for the first time and really enjoyed it,our server was amazing. I wish I remember her name so I can get her a shout out but my group was at the big circle table so thank you for being wonderful.
Flying Saucer Draught Emporium in downtown Houston is a popular pub known for its massive beer selection—over 200 options, with 85 on tap—and lively atmosphere. The decor features flying saucers, and seating is available both indoors and outdoors. The food menu includes well-loved pub fare like soft pretzels, wraps, sandwiches, and desserts. Weekly events like trivia nights and happy hour specials add to the appeal. Reviews are generally positive, highlighting the beer variety and friendly staff, though some mention inconsistent food and service. It's a go-to spot for beer lovers and casual dining in Houston.
What a cool discovery within the theater district! The service was fast, attentive and informative as we chose craft beers and food. Our drinks and meals were prepared quickly and tasted great! We pizza, a German plate, and an appetizer. The place has fun decorations where you can buy a plate to forever hang on the wall. Great place to get a beer or just enjoy the vibe.
I’ve been to other Flying Saucer locations in other cities but this one feels much more traditional pub like than what I remember elsewhere. Seating was plentiful and the waitress was very friendly. She took my order right away and I was served quickly. There are plates on the walls where you can record your personal records for drinks. This is a great place and super convenient for those downtown.

Great selection of beers, domestic and European. Very pleasant and friendly environment. Exceptionally hospitable personnel.
Huge restaurant for what I expected. Staff very attentive. Nice decor and music. Loved the meat cuts, flavor and quality. Salad bar area was ok… slightly limited, sort of empty and saw some flies around the cold cuts. Next to the train.
At least 3 waitresses passed by us, and we still had to go to the bar to ask if we ordered up there or if they had waitresses. The bartender had to send a waitress over. I had even stopped a waitress to ask if we ordered at the bar. She said "you can" and never returned. That was supposed to be my "hint hint, we're ready to order." The food was great, so we'll return to give it another chance, but I definitely hope the service is better.
On a cold, windy, and rainy day, I entered the warm, dry, cheerful Flying Saucer downtown. A friendly barkeep poured me a St Arnold's porter aged in a cognac barrel. Boy, did that hit the spot. Their…

Meat was delicious especially the parm chicken and the sausage. The sides needed life support and considering the prices at the restaurant I felt like the sides deserved more effort. As in homemade and not from a box. The desserts were the same. 3 options: cheesecake and mousse cake. Both came from a Sysco truck (told to me by the waiter) SMH
I had honestly forgotten that there is a Flying Saucer in Houston. After being downtown to catch a show at the hobby center we decided to walk a few blocks and have a nightcap The interior is deceptively massive. Everything looked clean, the lighting was more or less intimate, and we were there late so, there was more than enough seating We were greeted by a server who asked what we wanted almost immediately. Flying Saucer boasts dozens upon dozens of different beers from around the world, and we needed a minute. We asked if we could take a seat and look at the menu and she sort of rolled her eyes and talked back to us. Maybe it was a misunderstanding because she was relatively nice the rest of the night, but that initial interaction really rubbed us the wrong way While the FS is a lot of fun, I prefer more theme or dive bars, and there are so many other ones in this area to choose from. I would definitely consider checking out the Bad News Bar Some tips: Flying Saucer has a beer tour if you want something to work towards. Ask your server how to get started. If you don’t like beer they actually have non beer options, just ask. Parking isn’t great but there are some parking garages in the area. I would recommend using a ride share just to be safe. They also do trivia every Tuesday evening - play, test your knowledge, and win prizes Cheers!!

This place has an Irish pub feel with its food menu. It has a large beer menu. Unique decor of flying saucers. Service was slow for a small crowd on a Saturday night.
Tremendous beer selection, maybe 100 beers on tap. Interesting ambience. Food average, service slow. It's an odd neighborhood pub. A bit on the loud side.
The Good: Service could not have been better. Server could not have been nicer and more helpful after a kitchen disaster. Management comped my meal after I returned undercooked fish. The Bad: Worst fish and chips on the planet. The first rollout was undercooked. There was a layer almost 4 mm thick of white creamy uncooked batter. The second roll out was cooked much more thoroughly, the outside crust was crispy, but there was still a layer of white creamy substance between the crust and the fish. In the fish was simply cheap. The fish and chips tasted like something from middle school cafeteria. The ambiance meets expectations as a brew pub.
They advertise one price and when you get the check they ask you to pay another. Food quality was bad. Simple things like salt were not even utilized during the preparation of many foods, including salad bar items. For my bad experience, GM offered me a free dessert on my next visit (which is unlikely). I do not recommend this place and I suggest you pay very close attention to your bill! I reported them to the federal trade commission for what appears to be possible unethical conduct. They were inconsistent with service, while during the majority of my meal, I was the only diner present during a Friday afternoon lunch. I asked for medium-rare meats, and the garlic sirloin initially served to me was medium-well, no garlic or flavor of any kind. They did not bring pork ribs to the table (even though it is included in the 7 meats lunch); I had to ask for them. No soup was served or offered for weekday lunch.
I paid full price here, and it was a huge disappointment. The best thing about this place is the staff—they are very nice—but everything else was terrible. The building looks like a strip club, the restaurant was dirty with mosquitoes, and parking is a hassle. The meats were few, dry, and unseasoned; the rice was strange; and the beans didn’t taste Brazilian at all. I know this because I am Brazilian and have been to nearly every Brazilian steakhouse in Houston. Even the banana was dry. For the quality, this place should be priced like Golden Corral, yet it charges as much as high-end steakhouses like Chama Gaucha—nowhere close in quality. Considering how bad the “full” experience was, I can’t imagine the cheaper option. Easily the worst Brazilian steakhouse I’ve been to—I will not be back.
Went on a Saturday with an 8pm reservation. Other than my wife and I there were only two other tables. I thought this was strange based on the good reviews, I figured it would be busy. The meats themselves were great but after only 30 min the meats stopped. After asking for more I was told the kitchen was shutting down. It was only 9pm on a Saturday. I have been to many brazillian steakhouse and have never left hungry. This was the first one where I left hungry. Unacceptable for the price you pay.
Would rate a zero if possible. Food is less than mediocre. Salad bar is….sides from Walmart? Meat is…tuff…unseasoned…raw mess. Side of black beans from a can and hungry Jack potatoes. Asked to speak to a manager and they sent a 5’2 20 year old that dead panned apologizing but offered no solution. $150 dinner for two people. In addition to the poor quality food, there’s a hole in the ceiling, strip LED lights as decoration, and oversized wine bottles littered around the dining room. The hot dog stand outside our hotel is better. If the reviews about this place aren’t enough, the completely empty dining room at 7pm in a Saturday will tell you enough. Good luck!
My friends and I did not have a good experience for New Year's. We paid $39 each for an 80s theme murder mystery and were so excited. The times were 7 to 10:30. Since we did not want to drive, we ordered our Uber to pick us up at 10:40. The only thing that came with the event was a free beer. We waited and waited and waited for the event to start. It finally started around 9:15. We've never seen such disorganization! We ended up having to leave to get our Uber while thr show was still going on and never found out who the murderer was. At that point, nobody really cared anyway. It was disorganized, so loud we couldn't even here half of what was being said. For the price we paid, it was a huge disappointment. Never again.
But for this disgusting sign, I would have given the place 5 starts. Service was great, food was good. But this??? This is repulsive, unacceptable and disgusting. As an establishment, you have the ability to ok trivia names and you have the power to say no. You don’t need to make it political - it is straight up offensive. I will be following up with the GM to make sure it is taken down. I encourage anyone who is there to do the same.

Downtown's Draught Delight: Flying Saucer's Pub Charm
There's a spot downtown that's become my go-to when I'm craving a proper pub experience, a place where the beer flows as freely as the conversation. I'm talking about the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium. If you're near Main Street, navigating a bit of construction, you'll find it, and sometimes, you might even snag free parking on a chilly Sunday night, which is always a win. Stepping inside, you're immediately struck by the sheer volume of… well, saucers! They adorn every available surface,
