Our waiter Luis was THEE BEST!!! This was my first time eating here. I'm traveling from Baltimore, Maryland and my daughter loves ramen noodles. We're vegan and this place had three great ramen noodle soup options to choose from, among other items. We also had the edamame 🫛 and brussel sprouts tempura. 😋 My sister who is from Texas isn't vegan and had the spicy shrimp tempura. She said, "Hell yeah it's good!" 😂🤣 Here's the kicker. This Blueberry Lychee drink 🍷 was SOOOO amazing 🤩, I forgot to take pictures of all the food we enjoyed. I'll be back the next time I'm in Houston.

Our server, Azim, was helpful and friendly, as it was our first time at JINYA. He warned us about the spice level and was 100% right🥵! The music was a liiiiiiitle loud, but the food was delicious. The Demon Slayer Chef Special was *chef's kiss* very well balanced. Overall, we had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!

Ramen is delicious and consistent as usual. Im glad they add some spice levels to tonkotsu red now which makes it perfect. Alisher is very helpful and attentive. He remembered my order on the second visit and asked me twice if everything is ok. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this to all of my friends.

We had an awesome experience at Jinya. Olta welcomed me warmly, and Alp, our server, was amazing; friendly, attentive, and knew the menu inside out. Both patty and Azim were both wonderful servers and bartenders. I can’t lie though Ezeeme had patty beat with the Smokey Wokashi cocktail it was spot on. I’ll definitely be back. I would recommend JINYA Ramen bar to anybody in the city no doubt!!

I had a wonderful visit to this bar! The atmosphere is really interesting—both beautiful and full of unique design elements. There’s a large communal table, perfect for bringing friends and enjoying a stylish gathering, while smaller tables along the sides make the space feel cozy and intimate. The food is delicious and fresh. I’m a big fan of Japanese cuisine, and I highly recommend trying the crab salad. It’s wonderfully balanced with a hint of lime and crisp greens, all served with a crunchy galette. Truly a delightful experience!

this jinya location is one of me and my boyfriends favorite late night dates. We’ve been coming here pretty consistently for about a year and a half now and we’ve always had a really great experience. The servers and hostesses have always been really nice. We become so frequent that they literally hit us with that welcome back or ask if we want what we usually get which could be kind of humbling at times because we come so much but it’s always been really great. The food is always fresh and the one time there was like a noodle mixup. They fixed it with literally no problem. And it doesn’t really matter how late you come so always get you in and out with fresh food. I 100% recommend it for a date night.

I was really looking forward to trying this restaurant, especially after seeing so many highly rated reviews. Unfortunately, the Premium Tonkotsu Red ramen fell flat for me—the broth was just okay, the pork was bland, and the portion only included two very small pieces. For the price point, the portion didn’t quite feel worth it compared to other ramen spots I’ve tried. On a positive note, the salmon poke tacos were delicious, the ambiance was great, and the service was quick and attentive. I really wanted to love the ramen, but it just didn’t meet expectations.

It was quite busy at the restaurant, and the atmosphere was quite nice very Houston most people Were very Houstonian Perhaps it’s to accommodate the locals, but the broth was mediocre in all honesty. Nothing crazy to write home about we had their signature tonKatsu black. NO MISO In case there are people who are interested in that flavor Perhaps it was a busy evening, but they gave us a drink that wasn’t ours and Gyoza that wasn’t ours. I would’ve happily taken it if I hadn’t have to pay. lol. Our waiter Baisak was very kind and attentive though he was insistent on the gyoza and it was brought out even when I said we only wanted two other appetizers I thought he brought it over because he wanted us to try it, but we made sure to speak to them that we didn’t want or order it. Very understanding tho! They only give you one piece of meat So I feel like for the price that’s a bit expensive considering it’s $17 a bowl. Even though the egg is an entire egg, not half an egg, I would rather substitute and have them give us more at least another piece of chasu Salmon poke tacos was amazing. That I recommend if you can eat raw sushi We had their matcha tiramisu cake and honestly, it was more Matcha and cream than tiramisu so I wouldn’t recommend ordering that unless you want a Matcha cream cake very misleading Overall, there are other places that I would rather choose as this one is just subpar. Nothing crazy about it and honestly over priced for what it is.

The food was good, but service wasn’t that great we were served water but no straws, also our order was messed up we ordered appetizers and it never arrived, upon asking our server he said probably they forgot to make it, and one last thing we went in for Tuesday deal but again our server messed up on the check by giving us regular price, so we didn’t really enjoy it was too much back and forth with lot of things. I would rather to another location with better service.

I asked nicely for a lot of to go limes on my DD order and I got one slice, it’s definitely rude. Maybe a terrible joke? Perhaps they’re only nice to you face to face, and they don’t care otherwise. It is disappointing because I genuinely love the food and I always tip well when I eat in person. Btw the lime is super dry.
