The food here was amazing. We were excited to see chapulinas on the menu and they didn’t disappoint. The Cerviche and chicharron were also very good. The bar program was also on point. We had Pam as our server and she was very nice and guided us through the menu and checked on us frequently. We will definitely be back.
It was our first time here, and the place did not disappoint! The drinks, particularly the micheladas, are outstanding. All of the food is delicious and traditional. Sit at a high top/bar, and Xavier will make sure you have a great time 🍻.
My favorite seafood spot in the city! Best date night dinner! Perfect for girls night. Amazing food, great service (Javis a great bartender), & a beautiful spot. 13/10 all around
We went for brunch, sat outside and enjoyed some fresh ceviche and micheladas. The staff are super friendly, the food mouthwatering and the drinks made fresh.
It was our first time at La Cruderia- (we were looking forward to trying it out based on all the great reviews.) The food was excellent the drinks were even better. Chill, casual, great vibes- solid Friday spot. Shout out to Xavier! We will definitely be back.
We visited for the first time today and we were impressed to say the least! The food was phenomenal and the drinks were amazing! We had the michelada negra and it was by far the best we’ve tasted in Houston. No Clamato! The kids loved their fries on the kids meal. Paola was our server and she made sure we were taken care of! She was so attentive and had great recommendations. We will be back again after this crazy 2026 freeze!
We have been to this place 4 times and it has not disappointed. The food is always warm and delicious. Laura, who has been our server most of the time, is very knowledgeable and has great recommendations. She recommended a guava beverage with mezcal that was sweet but delicious. My mom had a mezcal drink with coconut that was also really good. Definitely recommend
The ceviche yucateco was delicious. Tacos Gobernador were scrumptious and the flan was heavenly. The service was excellent and the price reasonable. The outdoor patio is beautiful and the music variety played there was great. We will definitely come back. Thank you
My visit to La Cruderia Mexican restaurant for lunch was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance struck the perfect balance between relaxed and vibrant. The decor was lively, with a modern twist on traditional Mexican elements, featuring bold colors, unique artwork, and intricate details that created an inviting, energetic atmosphere. The music added to the vibe, playing upbeat, Latin music without overwhelming conversation, making it an ideal place for both casual dining and social gatherings. The food was outstanding--flavorful, fresh, and expertly prepared. The fish tacos I ordered were a delightful combination of crispy, golden fish, topped with a rich, spicy mayo like sauce, pickled onions, and a crisp slaw that added the perfect crunch. I paired it with a refreshing michelada served in a rustic, clay cup. It was the perfect lunch meal. What truly made my visit memorable, however, was the warm hospitality from the owner, Jorge. He took the time to engage with us personally, offering insights about the menu and sharing stories about the restaurant's vision. His personable nature made the experience feel even more special. With its fantastic food, inviting ambiance, and friendly service, La Cruderia is a place I'll definitely return to. It offers an excellent mix of tradition and innovation, providing an unforgettable dining experience. So glad I found this place and happy it's not too far of a drive from work! Highly recommend! 💯
Paola was really attentive, provided amazing friendly costumer service & the food was great. My husband and and I got the green and red chilaquiles, cafe & pineapple mimosas. Everything was beyond perfect, she even brought my two frenchies water cups and offered sides of chicken breast. Muchas gracias Paola will def be back soon!
La Crudería doesn’t just serve food — it throws a full-on fiesta. Xavier was behind the bar mixing top-notch drinks, the staff was on point, and every plate that hit the table was packed with flavor (seafood tacos, ceviche, pulpo con papas, tres leches, queso flameado — all winners). But here’s where it gets unforgettable: they turned dinner into a celebration. • Guests celebrating birthdays staff with matracas, filling the restaurant with rhythm and joy. • It happened to be the weekend of Mexican Independence Day, and the energy was electric — not just good music, but people in the restaurant singing along together. • And then came Lotería — I’ve played before, but never at a restaurant. They engaged the whole room, table by table, until strangers felt like family. How many restaurants do this? NONE. La Crudería is more than a meal — it’s culture, community, and celebration, all wrapped into one unforgettable night.
What a fantastic place! Our first time here, recommended by family - a must try! Paula was our waitress, and she was so attentive and sweet! We tried the Enchiladas Suizas Verdes, Flautas De Barria, and kids had Quesadilla's. All food was so amazing made with mexican authenticity! Micheladas also great! We live and came from Tomball to try this place, and it's a new favorite!
The restaurant is clean inside and out. Has a beautiful patio with a large tv. Service was prompt. Multiple people came and checked on us. The shrimp empanadas were fantastic. We came for the steak torta but I will say the torta was eh. Steak on it was good but nothing on the bread and came with 2 slices of tomato and 2 thin slices of avocado plus some grill onions. Definitely needed some life to it for a $13 sandwich. Would like to come back and try more food!
We were here on a volleyball trip and wanted true authentic Mexican food. We found this local place off of reviews and wow!! We will most definitely be back! The service was fantastic and the food was excellent! I had street tacos and the salsa was delicious. Thank you Jimmy for the food recommendations! Fantastic server
our first waitress was extremely rude and obviously did not feel like waiting on my husband and I. I’m not sure if it’s because we were a different ethnicity, but it definitely felt like that was the reason. Our second waitress was lovely though. She busted her butt and did such a great job, taking care of us and bringing our food to us. The food was pretty good.
I usually love the aguachiles from here as well as a couple of other items and that is what has kept me coming back however, in my most recent Uber Eats order, I decided to try the queso fundió and the deditos de pollo only to be beyond disappointed. The queso came in aluminum foil inside of a styrofoam container. Half of the queso was stuck to the aluminum foil, which made it un edible, and the half that was able to be salvaged was such a pain to remove. Every other restaurant that has given queso to go puts it in plastic containers, common sense. The chicken fingers or the deditos de pollo looked more like chicken fries or a stretched out piece of calamari when you compare what I receive to the picture shown on Uber Eats and their website, it’s just night and day. Literally they had no meat/thickness on them. This honestly will prevent me from ever going back.
