The Kabob plate was a 5 Star Chef’s Kiss. So many flavors and textures. My first time trying this place. I added grilled onions and a cucumber salad on the side. Loved the smoky old fashion as well. The service was stellar. Thank you to Flynn and Pow (Paulette) for giving me first class treatment and checking on me. I’ll have to go back to try the brunch. Update: I went back for brunch and it was A1 great. I ordered the Huevos rancheros with a side of potatoes and fruit. Had some good layers of flavor and comes with warm tortillas. I like that it came with 3 eggs instead of just two, as some places like to give less. The place has a great vibe and I’ll be going back to try more on their diverse menu. Thanks to Mike the GM for checking on me and making sure everything was on point.

Local Table was fantastic! The goat cheese appetizer blew me away, it was so flavorful. Our waiter Kevin was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience smooth. The GM Michael also stopped by and was extremely helpful and polite, which really stood out. Great food and even better service. I’ll definitely be back!

First off, the place is beautifully decorated—stylish but not overdone. It’s the perfect size: not too big, not too small. From the moment I walked in, the service was on point. The hostess, my waitress Ariana, and the General Manager Michael all made my experience genuinely enjoyable. The food- Fresh, flavorful, and absolutely fantastic. This was my second visit, and I’ve already sent photos to all my friends raving about the vibe and the dishes. It’s the kind of spot where you can grab a bite, feel energized, and get right back to your day. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing experience at Local Table! The service by Ale was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Big shoutout to Mike in management as well—he clearly runs a tight ship because everything flowed perfectly. The food was excellent, flavorful, and fresh. Honestly, for the quality and service, the price is absolutely worth it. Plus, the vibes were amazing—great energy, welcoming atmosphere, and just an all-around awesome spot. Can’t wait to come back for the amazing homemade desert!

We had an incredible dining experience at Local Table in the Garden Oaks location. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant — perfect for a casual night out or a special celebration. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented (crab cakes, steak tacos, beef/lamb gyro, and molten lava cake). The menu has a great variety of options, from healthy bowls to hearty entrees, and everything we tried hit the mark. Our server Kevin was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations. The drinks were also a standout — fresh cocktails and a solid wine selection. It’s clear this place is a local gem, and the staff takes pride in creating a welcoming experience. We’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!

Local table honored us so well in the celebration of our engagement! Thank you for this delicious champagne 🥂 Michael and Danny were patient and kind in helping us with our menu recommendations and greeting us for our first time at local table. We started with coffee and the signature in house made, bread pudding! And this does NOT disappoint! We continued with our brunch options that are available until 3pm. Least to say there was no left overs 😏. We finished with a complimentary champagne toast for the celebration our new chapter in being engaged. Great atmosphere and beautiful views with complimentary music.

The Manager Michael was very welcoming and made our experience great! It was our first time trying Local table and they made sure our first time was one to remember. The dessert was sooo good!!! My fiance and I were celebrating our engagement; Michael and Danny (our server) gave us champagne to celebrate us!! The chicken was crispy!! My fiance loved the texture. ★★★★☆ Wow, delicious! I ordered the gyro that came with fries — both were very good, and the fries were cooked to perfection: crispy, hot, and well-seasoned. I also tried the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and easily the star of the plate. The mashed potatoes were very good, and while the green beans were okay, everything came together nicely. The staff was friendly, the dining area was clean with plenty of seating, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Tip: Come hungry and try the gyro combo or the fried chicken — both are solid choices. Great food, friendly faces, and comfort on every plate.

Love that they have a variety of food to choose from! My boyfriend and I were craving different things so there was something for each of us. Service was great and food tasted amazing! Vegetables were cooked to perfection!

Indoor/outdoor seating available. Bar available. Friendly service. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, however, it was more of a cucumber ceviche as there wasn't a lot of shrimp. The manager stopped at our table, and we mentioned it. She apologized and took care of it. She said she was going to ensure the ceviche had more shrimp in it going forward. I had the Anaheim Chili Chicken. It was very good and the mushroom chili sauce was very nice. The brussel sprouts were really good. My husband had the ahi tuna bowl, and it was fantastic.

Solid choice for some good grub! Indoor & outdoor seating available. Excellent service with very tasty fare was our experience. Poke bowl was fantastic. Anaheim Chile chicken my wife got was tasty as well.

We aren’t from Houston we just look a place close to us and we find that this looks good, we really enjoyed the food, we order a Prosciutto Caesar salad, ahi tuna poke bowl, and Local Kabob Plate. Everything was tasty and delicious, the salad was a little spicy 🌶️. The strawberry lemonade was yummy, but it’s the only drink that isn’t refilled, they didn’t explained this we notice when we got the check, because they offered a refill not another one. This place is a healthy and clean option, the atmosphere is good.

I’ll start by saying the service was great. I like to find happy hour spots, but the happy hour menu here was so sad. And the food was quite underwhelming. I’m a bowl and salad person so it’s pretty much what I order everywhere. I ordered the falafel bowl and it was a kids sized meal. My 5 yr old nephew eats this portion. And a third of it was just sauce. For the price of $16 the bowl deserved better. Why is everything so expensive. Had a disappointing first and last experience.
