Avis sur Tay Do Houston
I had a beautiful meal. A pumpkin souffle with gorgonzola fondue and amaretto crumble Followed by sea bass on a pea cream with cherry tomatoes. Then pannacotta for pudding. Delicious food. Beautiful presentation. Highly recommend. This will be my go to when I'm in Milan.
Loved this restaurant, in a more touristy area but had a traditional Italian menu. Staff were really friendly and we got seated quickly. We had lunch and service was really quick. Had an English menu.
Very nice restaurant with modern yet authentic interior. Outside seating directly at the navigli available, but also big panoramic windows with great view. Highly attentive and friendly service, great food in attractive presentation. Pizza is available, but my recommendation is rather for fresh pasta or risotto.
llent experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. You can really tell that high-quality ingredients and great care go into the cooking. A special thank you to Angela for the service — she was friendly, attentive, and very professional, which truly made our evening even more enjoyable. We will definitely come back!
Amazing experience! The food was delicious, but what truly made our visit special was the service. A gentleman at the entrance who also took our order and served us was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. He recommended dishes, checked on us throughout the meal, and ensured we had everything we needed. A big bravo for his excellent attitude and outstanding service! You rarely find such hospitality it really elevated our whole dining experience. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this place!
We were a big table, and I mean BIG (around 15-20 ppl), still they were somehow able to bring the food promptly, at the same time and fricking delicious. One of my Italian friends said about the place "girl, you can close your eyes and pick and is going to be good". I was really worried because octopus is not easy to be on point, but what do you know... It was amazing, nothing disappointed this night. Recommending the seafood pasta, the octopus and the aubergine lasagna 🍆.
Great spot Came as a walk in for a big table and they sorted it out within 5-10 mins, staff are friendly and loads of seating inside and outside. The pizza was really good here, we ordered the Darsena to share as never had potatoes on pizza before but was amazing with the sausage. I also ordered a seafood pasta myself and that really hit the spot, super glossy with the white wine sauce and the seafood was fresh, even though the spot is located on the popular drinking canals the price wasn’t too bad for the food (tad expensive for beer) My party had a great experience with the good atmosphere dining outside, would definitely come again!
Went on a Tuesday for lunch. Really good food. We wanted to sit for a bit and drink. Then order food, the waiter was happy with this - I assume it was not so busy so we were able to take our time. They serve Spritzes, it’s not on the menu but just ask. For food we had the Pomodoro pasta and eggplant ravioli. Both were amazing. Only reason service isn’t 5 stars is that it took a while to get the waiters attention to pay One thing to be wary of is homeless/ beggars. So make sure to keep an eye on your bags
Came across this beautiful restaurant near the canal, food was amazing & service was phenomenal!! so good we even visited on more than one occasion on our 3 day trip!! for lunch & dinner!!! was amazing would definitely recommend & would visit again!! reasonably priced for a restaurant in a beautiful location by the canal
Overall, we were satisfied with the restaurant. The pizza we had was amazing, and the drinks were also good. The carbonara was tasty too, although l’ve had better in Italy - it was a bit unsalted, and the texture of the sauce could have been creamier. In terms of value for money, it’s a very good restaurant in the center of Navigli.
Food was really delicous and the prices were reasonable. Food was served fast. Service was great, the waitress did something about the shacking table after we asked. At night it gets pretty packed and we were lucky to even get a place, so I recommend to come earlier in the day. Don’t forget that you pay about 4€ for the table which means you can save the tip.
The food was good, but the lack of cleanliness was the main downside and something that really needs improvement (i attached photos). Although the restaurant was not crowded at all and we were only two people, we were seated at a very small, cramped table in a corner of the restaurant. The torn tablecloth was also disappointing. In my opinion, the food is expensive considering the overall condition of the restaurant. There is also a mandatory service charge of 4 euros per order; I understand this is common practice in Italy and it wasn’t a major issue, as we would have left a tip anyway, but i wish we knew about it beforehand.
Good atmosphere, average food and inexperienced staff. We chose this restaurant as they offered glutenfree meals and because its physical appearance was above the level of the area. The glutenfree food was okay - not exceptional. The white wine, however, was different to what we have been used to, and it was great. The staff was very kind, but clearly very inexperienced. We had ordered a mussel soup for starters and then our main courses. 10 minutes after ordering, our main courses were served. We asked to get our soup first. This we got. We started by separating the mussels from their shells. The bowl for the shells was far to small, and we weren't offered any wet wipes for our dirty fingers. And then we found out that we had to ask for a spoon to eat the soup...
