We went to Popeyes for a snack, the man who took our order was very nice, quiet, and very respectful, he addressed everyone with a "yes ma'am, no ma'am, yes sir, and no sir". He also said "Thank you" Very professional. We were at the South Parkway location in Huntsville, Alabama, On Sunday just before the start of the Super Bowl. Everyone knew their job and was working to keep all the orders filled. No drama, just good, hot food. Thanks
UPDATE: 10/13/25 Another appt in Huntsville so another trip to Popeyes to get some chicken. Today they get the full 5☆s because Paisley brought the atmosphere up a star! The chicken was fresh & hot, my first time to try their fried apple pie which was amazing (sprinkled with sugar/ cinnamon), and whoever buttered our batch of biscuits today gets 10+☆s! The perfect amount of butter, a little extra but not too much!!!! When Paisley fixes our order, I know it will be right! Don't like the appts in Huntsville, but "love that chicken at Popeyes!" See you next time, Paisley! The employees were very nice. We dined in with a wrap & lemon pepper wings while waiting on the to go order.. Both were very good. They were a few mistake in the to go items otherwise it would have been 5☆s all the
Haven't been to a Popeyes in years and I was pleasantly surprised. Chicken was fresh, fries are new favorite and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend this location.
Drive thru window was awesome the kids loved my right hand drive new jeep they has never seen anything like it. Food was so good I got the 6.00 box.

The service here reminds me of one of those hole in the wall stores that always have hot food but the attitudes are bad😂😂 like I can’t be mad at the service because my food was fresh. I guess I can compromise! #freshhotchickenservedwithsomeattitude I will return dang!
Ghost pepper bone in 12 pc. Cooked to order fresh at least 10 plus minute wait time, but oh, so worth the wait!!! Edit, don't worry, they're not hot to be uncomfortable, but spicy flavor.
I had one of the greatest experience in all my years visiting Popeyes. I am in Huntsville Alabama on a business trip and I wanted to eat some fried chicken so of course like I've done for many years I came to this Popeyes and let me tell you this place is immaculate Everything was great about this place the food. The customer service the location. The bathrooms were clean in everybody was so friendly especially Linda. I want to Give a special shout out to her for her customer service and dedication to her job. Thank you, Linda When I come back to Huntsville, Alabama, you can best believe that I'm coming to have lunch or dinner
I got a 2 piece dinner with mostly bones. Have always liked their red beans and rice so that was the saving grace. Staff was friendly, Wait was not terrible. Super disappointed in the chicken though, almost all breading and bones, barely any meat, very disappointed in the quality of the meat.

It took 15 minutes to get a family meal with no special orders. The chicken was what took so long but the manager might have at least let us know what the hold up was.
I didn't have to wait long for my cold food. The manager on duty was rude to a customer that had a mobile order telling him he better get in line, after he waited about 5 minutes at the mobile order pick up window. After I ate, I noticed the same manager making food with no gloves on.
The manager seems to have a problem with DoorDashers and is vocal about it. Depends on the employee what type of service you will receive.
I went inside to buy some food, but everyone was too busy to take my order, even though they walked by the registers several times. I ended up having to walk out without food. ............ I decided to give the app another try to see if it wasn't just a glitch that day. After placing my order and paying for it, I showed up at the restaurant only to find out it had closed early. I don't understand why the app would allow a person to place an order when they knew it could not be picked up. This restaurant deserves the one star I am giving it. The lesson is - never use the app for this restaurant. Luckily, the app made it easy to get a refund, but can't replace the time stolen from me. .................... This visit was much different. I used the app and got an email confirmation, but the restaurant did not get it until 20 minutes later. I waited at the restaurant for 35 minutes for my order while folks who walked in got their orders in about 10 minutes. I don't think I'll be using the app in the future. ................. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was cheerful and polite. It took 10 minutes from walking in the door to getting my 8-piece chicken box with biscuits and red beans and rice side. The food was as expected and delicious.
Went at about 2 pm Busy but not overly busy for how bad the food was. Tenders were straight up cold. Fries were not cooked all the way and soggy. So excited for this Popeyes but it's looking like I'm going to stay with the local Bojangles.
Where to start? When I pulled up to the speaker I barely hear "welcome to popeyes". No may I take your order.... nothing. Okay.... cool. Place my order and pull up to the window and everyone inside is joking and playing around. Okay... cool. Okay for my order... sit for about five minutes then asked to pull to the second window. So I do. I ordered two spicy two breast meals one with mashed potatoes the other with Cajun rice. I assume they can get that right so I finally get my food and drive the 40 minutes home as I don't live in Huntsville. Arrive home and my chicken is not spicy for starters. Then one meal has red beans and rice in it the other has only red beans with no rice even. I hope the manager sees this because you just lost a customer...... forever. This is the third time in a many weeks yall messed up my order. Many more places to get chicken than there.

We are in Huntsville attending the funeral of a close family member tomorrow, so we ordered a family meal online via the Popeyes app thinking it would easier. Mistake #1. My husband went inside to pick up the order only to find out the order had not been made. The Manager Quetta advised that we need to pay additional money because our family meal had white meat. The order was already about $30. Also, on the app I had already paid an additional charge for upgrading to mac & cheese. My husband explained all of this. The Manager Quetta advised that her boss told her to charge an additional fee on all online orders that have white meat. She advised that the Popeyes app is a third party app and it has no affiliation with their store and they only get paid once a month from them. Therefore, we had to pay the extra money or she will not fulfill the order. My husband declined to pay. The manager advised that most people usually don’t argue and they just agree to pay additional fees to get their order. My husband told Manager Quetta that he was not paying a dime more. I was outside in the car and overheard everything on the phone; so I walked inside of the store to join my husband. I listened to the manager and I explained that we did not order any additional breasts. We ordered a family meal and we were able to customize our food on the app and no other applicable charges was added. Therefore, I did not understand why she had taken it upon herself to apply additional charges that did not apply to my order. The manager did not seem willing to listen to any rational reasoning, so we then asked her for a refund. She explained that she had no control over that and I would have to deal with the third party app to get a refund. I was confused about this. The manager advised that she had the ability to charge more on the order but she did not have the ability to cancel the order. My husband and I found it strange that she could charge more but not cancel anything. In the future, I think this location needs to put a notice to all customers on their lobby doors and drive thru to alert customers to the new policy they have at their location in regards to online orders. The notice should explicitly say that more fees will be added on all online orders in store during pickup. Also, the company Popeyes should list a disclaimer on their website as well, so customers should be aware prior to ordering. I will be contacting corporate to voice my concern regarding this as well. I attached a picture of my online order for you to see.

After receiving our family pack, I asked for dipping sauce and was told I could only have 2 or I would have to pay extra. I made sure he knew we ordered a family pack and his response was “you didn’t ask for any.” I assume he meant while ordering but isn’t that his job? I wasn’t arguing any longer….we just will never return to this location. Management needs to do better.
They NEVER get my order correct. They have made my order correct 1 out of 7 times. How hard is it to make a chicken sandwich, plain. Just buns, chicken, and cheese. And they still mess it up.
Very horrible experience . I tried calling several times with no answer so I went in, no problem. I asked the manager if their phones were working and she said yes very rudely and said she was too busy to answer even though the restaurant was empty, then proceeded to ask what I wanted to rudely. The whole place smelled of weed, which my whole family complained of. South Huntsville is too nice of area for that nonsense. We will not be coming back to this location.
So my parents went a few times and asked for apple pies and they weren’t in the bag any of the times they went so they called and asked if they could get their names put down to get their Apple pies back and one of the ladies there cussed them out and told them no bc they were about to close and that she “didn’t have time for that” and my mother called back as anyone else would and cussed them back out. That lady got their numbers and was harassing my parents from her own cell number. Terrible place and I mean TERRIBLE. She is lucky I wasn’t with my parents because that disrespect would not fly by me. Apparently anyone can work here you don’t have to have customer service.
I just took my son to urgent care because he was puking his guts out and come to find out.It's because he had food poisoning from eating raw chicken from this popeyes location. I called to let the store know and someone apologized that it happened and hung up.I think this matter should have been taken more serious, given the fact that they served my twelve-year-old raw chicken tenders, my family will no longer be supporting Popeyes.
Never a good experience. Rude employees, 20 to 30 minute wait inside and in the drive thru and the order is NEVER right. We haven't been in about 3 months and tried it tonight. Hard nope. We won't be back. Waited in the drive thru for 25 minutes, the line never moved. Zero stars for food we never received, zero stars for service because the line never moved, and zero stars for atmosphere because we didn't get anything.
I was picking up two Door Dash deliveries. The person running the window said I was taking up his time and making him look bad while I was confirming the orders on my phone - he said to move my car and pull forward. He was extremely rude.
I went to purchase food the cashier push the button then walked away with my money only to walk back to say he didn't have the change. He stated he didn't have change and was laughing with the manager when she stated he had change. His name is Chance very unprofessional if you don't want to work why are you there in the first place.
Food seems to be made awhile ago, my chicken is cold in the middle, other meal the biscuit is raw in the center. I did not recieve any of the sauces I ordered, including the ones mthat are supposed to come with the meals. My drinks are flat and out of syrup so I just got a cup of brown water. The woman on the headset and window was very rude when taking order and giving food. Worst Popeyes experience I have ever had.

I called the store for resolution and the person on the phone began cussing me out. I was not rude, cursing or disrespectful at all. She continued to curse me and hung up on me. She never once offered a resolution - provide missing items or refund. I called back to talk to a manager. Same woman that cussed me out answered. I asked for manager. She said she was the manager. I asked for her name and she refused to give it. She began cursing me out again and threatened that if I called back, she would call police and have me arrested for harassment. This manager was absolutely unhinged. I will not be back.

We went to the drive thru And I have never experienced such a rude attitude Just trying to order some food So we picked up our 3 meals And went into the parking lot To eat when we start opening up ours meal we see that we are missing our straws out sauces and a order of mashed potatoes So we go back through the drive thru And politely ask for what we ordered and were missing So the man at the window talks to the manager She proceeds to shout “they only get once sauce per window “ We tell her that we didn’t receive our sauces So she proceeds to say give them One each and tell them to get on And we also had to ask again for the order of mashed potatoes So neverless not the best experience
