Team members are always nice, smiling, and have great attitudes. 4⭐️ on food, though. Most of the time, it's good, but every once in a while, they give out older/stale fries.

Food is mediocre, not like it was before the company sold. Service isn't as good as it used to be. Employee complaining to another employee about store management in front of customers is not very smart.

I ordered on the app then went inside to pick up my order. There was a lady clearly wearing a Whataburger uniform standing right beneath the sign that said online pick up. I told her that I was there to pick up an order and she just stared at me with a blank look. Again, I said that I was there to pick up an order and asked if she could help me. Finally, she stated, "sorry, no sabe". I'm sorry, then why are you out in front of you can't help me? Communication is a requirement for customer service and in this case, communication was not possible.

Dr Pepper shake tasted good. The burger and fries came out lukewarm and lacked flavor. The fries were soft. Service moved slow. I have had better visits here. Hoping for improvement next time.

When I normally go here, it’s pretty good. Unfortunately, this time my burger patty was way undercooked. It’s ok for a patty to have a little pink, but it it RAW all the way around. Not to mention by the time I got my food, it was cold, the drinks were watered down and the fries were soggy. I was the last person sitting in the drive through so it’s not like they were rushed and/or busy. Very unpleased with this visit

Horrible customer service was yelled at through the drive-thru because we weren't sure what we wanted to order. Got the rodeo cheeseburger and let me tell you there was so much sauce on it I couldn't even enjoy. Step up your game New Waverly Burger King 👑

We stopped by this location 9/27/25 around 7:45 pm. The female working the drive through is the most disrespectful and rude employee I have dealt with in any environment. I ended up parking and going in to request to speak to the manager. The lobby was a mess and most employees looked unhappy. I spoke with "Codi" who was supposedly the manager of the location. My encouragement to her was to remove the negativity from her Customer Service line. Although it became evident the whole environment of that location needs work.

I absolutely love Whataburger and it’s usually my go to when I want to indulge in a burger. However, every time I visit this particular location, I end up regretting it. I keep telling myself, “Maybe I just caught them at a bad time,” but even after multiple visits, the experience hasn’t improved. The patty melt bread is always incredibly hard, and the meat is dry and overly salty, like they added extra salt after cooking. Meanwhile, the regular burgers tend to be soggy and lack that satisfying texture. The fries are rarely fresh. Even when they’re hot, they often taste like they’ve been reheated or fried again. Honestly, it’s disappointing, and I just can’t bring myself to enjoy it anymore.

My friend and I went to get breakfast. It wasn't busy. About 5 people inside and just a few cars in drive thru. He ordered pancakes and I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a regular coffee. It took 25 mins to get the order and there was no coffee. It was 930am. They eventually brought coffee out and it was soooo strong It was undrinkable. I should have known as I had problems with an order the week before.

I know whatburger isn't gourmet and I shouldn't expect top notch good. What gets me though is the service. The service used to be top notch. These fast food workers are demanding higher pay... yet give zero attention to simple detail that would prove their worth. I asked for salt, pepper, and ketchup... not a hard request by any means. All I received was over 10 packets of pepper... no salt, no ketchup, no NAPKINS... BTW this was at the drive through. My cup came covered in soda... not even an attempt to wipe it clean. I kid you not their conversation between each other was about how many fights they've won during their high-school career. 🤦‍♂️ No customer service at all.

I keep getting burgers from here that are supposed to have two patties and they keep giving me one. This is supposed to be a Monterey melt ain’t sure what this is

If I could give zero stars, I would. Not because the food is bad ...the food is actually really good and most of the workers are helpful and friendly. The issue is the head manager. She is constantly yelling at employees loud enough for the whole dining room to hear. No matter where you sit, it’s hard to enjoy your meal because of the constant yelling. It creates a really uncomfortable atmosphere and honestly makes you feel bad for the staff. Management should be professional and respectful, especially in front of customers.

Extremely slow and lazy staff. Everytime I come here my order is wrong and I end up waiting 30-40 minutes each time. Just because you’re a college student doesn’t mean you can do your job.

I was there today and I ordered my usual meal with Fresh fries every time I got I never get my fresh fries today I went asked for no mustard to put mayo basically sub mayo and only pickles no tomatoes and no onion I have received the COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF WHAT I ORDERED.

it’s actually ASTOUNDING how they always manage to mess up my order and forget it. this frustration is compounded by the fact that you always wait a minimum of 15 minutes to even receive your food. several times i’ve waited that long to get my meal, looked inside, and something was missing. which forces me to go back inside and wait for them to give me the rest of it, and by the time im done waiting for that, it’s a 45 minute ordeal. as someone who’s worked fast food before, i can’t comprehend why the hell it takes so long for them to make and hand the food out. there must be a horrible manager issue or something. if you want people to actually get your order right in a timely manner, do yourself a favor and go to chick fil a.

I WISH I COULD LEAVE ZERO STARS! I am currently on my cycle and was really craving a breakfast burger with honey butter ontop instead of the jalapeño sauce. I placed my order through door dash and there was no option to change the sauce. I called whataburger right after placing the order and kindly asked for honey butter sauce and that they could charge me. (I used to work at a restaurant with doordash and you can edit prices on the doordash order) I explained this to the dude and said i could only do it through my dasher (which is also not true because the dasher would need to pay out of pocket) I come here literally all the time and very disappointed with the dudes attitude towards this situation. I will not be coming back, and yall should really do better. As soon as the call ended i cancelled my order. :)
