The kindest and most consistent Starbucks in McKinney. I get exactly what I order every time, and it tastes the way it should every time. I rarely 5 star corporate stores in general, but the customer service here has earned it! Thanks! Main order: Venti iced white chocolate mocha, oat milk, no whipped.

This is by far one of the best Starbucks locations in McKinney. The early morning crew staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I will Gladly walk in in person to this location vs a drive through for good customer service. Every person working the morning of 9.3.25 deserves recognition for their hard work and kindness

Great place for a coffee. This small chain should look at expanding. All seriousness, most of these places are great and this is no exception. Friendly staff upon entry. Fast service and great large space for hanging out or working. Plenty of parking.

Oh my goodness!! I absolutely love love this location! It is very conveniently placed and the staff are out of this world! I would like to Showcase addie, asher, Tyra and Ryder so young but so smart and responsible. Thank you so much guys you're so young and I'm so proud of you. This Starbucks is one of my favorite spots—clean, relaxing, and a great place to get work done or just take a break. The atmosphere is always inviting, and the coffee is consistently great. One aspect that really makes my time here special is Addy. She’s warm, friendly, and just has this amazing way of making you feel welcome. Whether you’re grabbing a quick drink or hanging out for a while, Addy makes the experience even better. The only thing better than the coffee is getting to chat with her. Love this spot and will continue coming back!

It is always a great experience at this location, with the baristas being very welcoming! My most recent experience with Kaitiln has set the standard!! She went above and beyond in helping me find ways to still enjoy my Ice Caramel Macchiato, while tending to my Lactose Intolerant needs. It’s rare these days to find someone who not only knows their job inside out but also makes an effort to connect with each customer on a personal level. Kaitlin was that person. She took the time to ask about my day, recommended a few drinks based on my preferences, and even offered insightful suggestions to enhance my usual order. Her knowledge of the menu was impeccable, and her passion for coffee was evident in the way she described each option. As someone who frequents Starbucks, I’ve had my fair share of good and bad experiences, but Kaitlin’s service was unparalleled. She went above and beyond to ensure that my drink was made perfectly to my liking. When I asked for a slightly adjusted version of my usual order, she didn’t hesitate to accommodate my request and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. It’s this attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile that truly set her apart. Moreover, Kaitlin's ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of service was impressive. Stopped by to visit with a friend. I got the passionfruit iced tea. It tasted good. Only giving four stars because the chairs are not very comfortable and it could be cleaner.

Honestly the drink was okay but that's about it. While taking my order they did not hear my name correctly so when they went and created the drink I couldn't figure out which one was mine. When it came time to get it I was standing there with six different drinks on the counter and couldn't figure out which one was mine. The issue was I asked for extra whipped cream but they put none on top so the lid was flattened and it just looked like a coffee. I had to stop her at the moment while she was creating another one and asked where my drink was. She asked for a name to which I said "Jeri" but from the image provided they wrote it incorrect and they did not provide any whipped cream until after. The drink itself was all right, a little bit runny and a little bit thin. I used to love getting double chocolate frappuccinos from Starbucks but they took that off the menu and so she had to make me some kind of cookie crumble thing which didn't taste anything like it. Overall I don't know why I bothered. It's mainly because I was given a $5 gift card but I still ended up having to pay more. Starbucks is definitely not the way it used to be and definitely more expensive for such a tiny drink.

After a year of going to this location on and off in the morning on the way to school drop off, today, yet again, my drink order was wrong… Between me and my daughter on average one or both of our drinks are wrong 80% of the time. It’s dumbfounding… I do NOT suggest this Starbucks if you want any part of your order done accurately.

EDIT: I saw one of the staff throw bread at their employees. That rubbed me the wrong way, avoid at all cost; Sophia is the best barist, she makes our drinks with love and passion, that girl needs a raise! She is carrying that whole location, she’s saving this location.

Coffee tasted awful and gave me a headache. Got my normal caramel hot latte so dont know how that was possible. Even as an ex barista for years I couldnt figure it out. They forgot one of my items for my takeout order and the other was melted due to it all just kinda being shoved together. Not a fan. Buyer beware. Bad location

I come into Starbucks every morning before work and order my usual drive on the app on the way. Today is my birthday so I was extra happy today well I ordered my coffee 15 minutes in advance per usual because I don’t want to be late for work. Not only was my drink not ready I literally went to sit in the car to take a phone call for 10 minutes came back and they said oh thought you left so we didn’t make it! It’s a mobile order!!! I don’t have to be present you should have made the drink even if I was inside the store or not. What a great way to start my birthday off! I’m highly disappointed! It wasn’t even busy as normal! Please do better Starbucks

Waited 20 minutes for ONE DRINK. Was told there was 9 orders on the queue… don’t accept online orders. Went and ordered in person and that was made faster than the online orders. It ended up the order was already made and they failed to check to see if it was made before telling me it was 9 orders ahead of my online order.

I’m not sure what the issue is, but the service was off. I ordered an iced brown sugar shaken espresso (my usual order w/ no modifications). The first time it was made with no brown sugar sweetener so I took it back and said it was only coffee and milk. The girl asked how many pumps I wanted and I said I wanted it just as it comes. She said ok and put a lot of pumps. It was too sweet so I took it back and asked to have it made just as it comes she proceeds to tell me that it’s a semi sweet drink and i said I know b/c it’s my usual order and I want it just as it comes. They remade it and it was basically just milk and sweetener with no coffee this time. Uggggh I was over it at that point.

I've lived in McKinney my entire life, and I've come to this Starbucks off and on for the last 12-13 years and I've always had a good experience...until today on 4/13/24. A Shift Supervisor by the name of 'Janice' - could've sworn her name tag said 'Darlana/Darlene' possibly was so incredibly hostile, unapproachable, and rude. It's like she took one look at me and targeted me for whatever reason. She was making drinks, not making eye contact, and each time she brought out mine, my sister's or my mom's orders--she was avoiding me completely. My mom and sister were waiting in the car with my nephew so I was picking up all of our orders. The Shift Supervisor didn't acknowledge me, cool maybe she's super focused on making other drinks. I said "thank you" in a bubbly and cheery voice with a smile. She doesn't say a thing, and again, doesn't acknowledge me whatsoever. I also ordered a pup-cup that blew over outside when I was carrying the drink holder out to my sister's car. So I go back inside and kindly ask for another pup cup from a different Shift Supervisor that was on duty at the time. I can't remember his name off of the top of my head. The Shift Supervisor with the tacky attitude looks at me, pulls a plastic cup out, slams it on the counter top, fills it with whipped cream, hands it to the other Shift Supervisor to hand to me, and then literally THROWS the metal whipped cream canister in the sink, and just glares at me. I was so appalled at her behavior and taken back. I finally asked her in a calm tone and concerned manner if she was okay. She said "Yeah...we always toss canisters in the sink this way." .....Yeah, OKAY. I walk out of the restaurant so angry I'm on the verge of tears. Tell my mom and sister about the interaction and finally talk myself into saying something before we left the parking lot. I go back inside and the super nice Shift Supervisor is in the corner pulling out a bakery item. I politely say "Hey there, I just wanted to ask what her name was." He hears me out. I ask for the DM's name and also grab the Store Manager's name. I've people led and managed in retail for 10+ years and just couldn't believe the service that was given to me. I would've never tolerated this sort of behavior from one of my team members. This would be an immediate documented discussion or written warning depending on if this has happened in the past or not. Definitely not someone I would hire or want on my team. Absolutely disrespectful and unappreciated. I genuinely hope whatever it is that set her off whether she's sick of working for Starbucks, has family issues, grieving something or someone--that she gets the time to grieve and/or heal. I know that Starbucks has amazing benefits and resources for their team members. Please provide her with them.

Horrible customer service, horrible drink quality for amount paid. Spent 6.86 for a frapp which wasn't full, missing ingredients, and extremely watery. When asking the server to add my praline and caramel she preceded to slam down the bottle as if I had asked for too much. Seeing how you charge for EVERYTHING extra I need all my ingredients. Huge fail and I will NEVER go back.
