What an adventure for the palate! The young duo running the show are both very skilled in their respective domains. Chef Vincenzo inventiveness is paired with the otherworldly delivery of supremely enjoyable dishes, while his spouse Gessica professionalism is not lost on the customers who can rely on an attentive presence without the feeling of intrusion. Her delivery, class and compentence were not lost on me. The square spaghetti with eggplant, nori and peanuts was more than surprisingly delicious, what a formidable combination. The poached egg with parmesan cream, olive oil and two style potatoes finished with shaved truffle was also an unforgettable experience. Dessert was another feat. Reinventing a classic like tiramisu is not for the faint of heart, but Chef Vincenzo wins hands down. I will not reveal the secret to avoid spoiling the surprise. Desserts were

We highly recommend Grillo if you're looking for a dinner that feels refined but in a relaxed atmosphere. The setting in Paraiso, surrounded by beautiful old buildings, is very charming. ​We had the large dégustation menu (88 €) and absolutely loved it. The service was incredibly friendly and professional, and every dish was of excellent quality. The different textures and flavors came together beautifully. The highlights for us were the perfectly cooked fish, the duck breast with a Parmesan foam, and the desserts. ​The wine list is carefully curated with small producers and we followed the very good recommendations by the owner. Everything together made for a great dinner experience.

Top Location Top Food Top Servers A Lovely spot at the top of the village a quiet, discret square. The waiters are very professional. The food sophisticated and hight quality. The athmosphere is top notch and the décor is tasteful. Surprised that this establishment is not in the Michelin and Gault & Millau.

We had the most amazing evening at a’grillo! I am gluten free and although we didn’t have a reservation they were able to provide an amazing menu ❤️ Servers were lovely as was the sommelier and we had some great wine - thank you!

Ideal location in the heart of old town. Time flew by with the 3-hour degustation set. The food was exceptional, and the service was top-notch. Coupled with the serene ambiance of a quiet street and the gentle chimes from nearby cathedrals, the dining experience was truly unforgettable. While it may not be the most affordable spot in Imperia, it's definitely worth a visit.
