We've been frequenting Bistrot del Tempo Perduto for many years, and each time we find the same charm: a warm, refined, and attentive atmosphere where you immediately feel welcomed. The cuisine remains one of its strengths, with its traditional Mediterranean dishes, Ligurian cuisine with a delicate French influence, dishes that are always well-executed and never boring. The desserts are also noteworthy, with exceptional whipped cream reminiscent of the pastries of old. Special attention goes to the owner, Vanessa, and her staff: professional, kind, and always available, even when we arrived with our dog, who was welcomed without any problem and with great warmth. All this at an excellent quality-price ratio, which makes the experience even more pleasant and relaxing. A place where time truly seems to slow down, perfect for those seeking quality, atmosphere, and impeccable service. Highly recommended.

The most beautiful and refined restaurant near the seafront. Flowers, plants, candles, everything puts you in romantic mode. The focaccia was delicious, as were all the dishes. The service is excellent. The interior is elegantly chic, reminiscent of magical centuries past. Lovely hostess.

Fabulous! It deserves a 10 overall, I think it's the second time in my life I've given it a 10: everything was perfect! The atmosphere, elegant but not heavy, with truly great taste; the food, with delicate flavors and just the right portions; the service, welcoming and never intrusive; the wine list, and finally, the price, absolutely fair for what you get. Oh my God, the seafood was absolutely delightful! Service was even better! We lucked out to find this place. Sitting on the harbor, with wonderful views, this bistrot has a great ambiance. White table cloths, beautiful lamps, outdoor seating…. We had a wonderful meal we will never forget!

Excellent experience. An anniversary dinner, recommended by friends, I wanted to try this place. I was very impressed by Vanessa, an excellent hostess who knows how to put her guests at ease. The food was excellent, superbly prepared. Vanessa's recommendations were excellent, and she knew how to advise you on both the wine selection and the dishes. We had gnocchi with mussels and figs, fish soup, and Catalan-style cod, all accompanied by a Ribolla Gialla. I recommend this place and I recommend you trust Vanessa; you won't be disappointed.

A small, time-lost restaurant, its retro interior features many vintage and Art Nouveau objects, along with the soft candlelight and music that transport you back to an indefinite period. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the menu, handwritten on a large blackboard passed from table to table, promises dishes that change daily based on the availability of six products. Today I had shrimp accompanied by aioli sauce and excellent mussels; last time I had delicious snails in tomato sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Didn't expected such an amazing Evening, visited this summer in August.. We craved for regular Seafood and Pasta and didn't knew what the Restaurant had to offer. We had to adjust our craving for a minute cause the whole menu card looked different then the usual. What we got was amazing, fresh and presented very well. Not only fresh, the veggies (onions for example) had so much flavour.. Pulpo was the best I had in years and the tagliatelle did an amazing job as well. Wine was also great.. we did had a rating around 4.7/8 but then the dessert came and it's was a straight 5.. lovely service.. pricey but class got it's worth.

Small Italian restaurant with atypical decor. The service is very pleasant. The presentation, with our grandparents' dishes, is original, which I personally appreciate. The dishes are pleasant without any gastronomic pretensions. The price-quality ratio is, however, quite good. An outdoor area allows access to strollers and wheelchairs. Enjoy your meal 🧑‍🍳

Beautiful interior as well as exterior! Delicious pasta and ravioli bolognese! Cannot say the same about tiramisu - savoiardi cookies were dry :( No possibility to have coffee with milk/cappucino, they only do espresso. Some staff members speak English

First of all: the service is okay and everyone is very friendly, the place is beautiful. Apart from that: the food is okay but not outstanding. Panna cotta was too sweet and did not taste homemade (sauce from supermarket). Pasta was fine but not outstanding.

The place has an unusual decor, aiming for chic but using paper napkins. The atmosphere is stuffy, stilted, not at all relaxed, and feels artificial. The welcome was cold. Apart from a few "chic" customers, the others seemed uncomfortable and tried to whisper, like us. We ordered several dishes. Small portions, nothing exceptional. And, most importantly, two dishes of uncleaned mussels! Expensive wines. We left as soon as we finished our meal. Nothing was done to make us feel at ease. There were three of us, and we're not usually noisy. Elsewhere between Nice and Genoa, we've eaten mussels prepared in various ways, always scrubbed. The waitresses were friendly but seemed uncomfortable under the owner's control. Poor value for money. Under the same arcades in Imperia, we found better value for money and a much more pleasant, warm welcome.

Disappointed! We just wonder were so many positiv comments are coming from….??? We didn’t find any friendly personal, on the contrary, the ladies were rather arrogant. Food was “ different” yes, but not really good. Quality Wines and romantic Ambiance, that’s all. Prices rather high.
