Bear Trap

I wanted to go somewhere different for my 21st birthday. We have a cabin the next town over and we drive past this place a few times a year on vacations. We came with a large group, the owner was inviting and so were many of the individuals at the bar. We had a few beers couple orders of wings a few laughs and a great time! Thanks for a great memory Bear Trap I’ll be back!

Awesome dive bar, great food, and the bartenders and patrons are super fun. The one bartender Bob even made me food despite the cook having left for the night. My car had broken down about an hour away last weekend and I was staying at the Trail Motel across the street for several days doing some hiking - - patrons at the bar offered to help fix my car, give me a ride to the store, find me some food, etc. People really look out for each other in that neck of the woods! Things I had there that were awesome: Burger Clam chowder Wings Chili If the lights are on, pop in!

I am over the mountain for this place. We were traveling through and looking for a place for lunch. This place has great food, great service and great atmosphere. Gail, the waitress is a treasure. Prices are great. They also have a full bar.

Great little bar for a home town feel. The food was quick, however by burger was cooked a bit more than I like. The cook never asked how we liked it cooked but it still tasted wonderful.

Good local Adirondack type bar. That tied into the snowmobile trails around the Indian lake area. Not always serving food but when they do it's good basic bar food.

Had the steak sandwich with onion rings. Very good. Drinks were very good. The bartender was the cook and waitress. She kept up very well for having to do everything. We will be back!

Stopped by for a bite with the kids and wife, did not disappoint one bit! The clam chowder was fresh and amazing the fish fry was excellent as well. The kids had a great time dancing in the dining room and ate all of their chicken and fries. Big portions, fair price, perfectly cooked. We will be back!

If you're looking for that "Cheers, where everyone knows your name" vibe, this is it! The food is tasty and the staff (Amy) is amazing! For the last two years, when my family and I Vacation we visited this location and we have fun, homely experiences here. You can stop by for a brew/cocktail and a meal and feel like you have always come here.

Visited for lunch on Tuesday June 18, 2024 Great, friendly service from the bartender and a nice, upbeat group of locals enjoying their lunch. The hours here are extensive and a real draw - open when most places in the whole park would be closed! I got the Turkey BLT from the daily specials on marble rye and with onion rings. All great, fair price, and filling! Stop in and give them your business if you are passing through Indian Lake! *cash only

Worst place ever drinks are over poured they only care about locals no gloves worn in the kitchen weed out back while bartender is working closes early just because they are tired and pretty sure no one has had proper bartending training. Food is over priced
