A little bar in a little town. I don’t go in much anymore but it was always a fun place and the food isn’t bad either bar food. They have a nice outdoor area where you can sit and drink, eat and people are normally always friendly. They have a pool table, pull tab machines as well as a gambling machine or two. TVs to watch the games it’s a pretty large environment so it’s not usually too crowded. If you are from out of town people will turn and stare however, usually with a smile. Just trying to figure out who the new kid on their block is and what you’re doing in their town. I almost forgot there is a ramp to make it handi- capable. Don’t expect fancy you can definitely come in your work clothes and you’ll be OK. It’s a nice place to go and catch up on gossip .

Awesome place to visit, was there Fri with my dad Jerry and cousin Ken on our way back from Waverly! Good people and their Philly cheese and ribeye sandwiches were the best we have had!

The Hide-A-Way is a go to for our family for late night summer meals! Whether eating at the restaurant or when taking food to go we are never disappointed! The hodgepodge is a great option and staff is very accommodating.

Great bar to grab some food and drink. In small town iowa nobody would know it was there unless you cruised the back roads. Great pit stop for motorcyclists

The best town bar you'll ever run across in the beautiful country surrounding try the chicken or fish anything coming out of the kitchen is cooked with love and the drinks are reasonable definitely worth the trip and not hassled by much police

What a wonderful place to go! Some of the best food away from home ever!! Comfortable atmosphere, very hospitable staff with excellent service, and always made to feel like you belong there. Not overpriced and very accommodating for special celebrations. There's an annual Halloween dance with a costume contest, an annual dance the first weekend in March, karaoke nights and so much more!
