Every time I try Wahoo’s, their plates are consistently delicious, well-seasoned, and the rice is made well. Bowls with just a few key ingredients but done really well. I’d definitely recommend Wahoo’s for a quick bite. The staff there are always kind and wear a smile. It’s usually not super packed so it’s easy to find a seat and have a quiet meal. 🥩 Maui Steak Bowl: the steak is cut into bite sized pieces with enough sauce that it’s not overpowering the salsa and beans. It’s a great combination and leaves you feeling full. The rice is fluffy and never undercooked. 🥤Guava Bunderberg: honestly the fizziness kind of offsets the flavor but still a really good drink. Love Bundaberg!
Always fresh and delicious. Generous portion of fish in the burrito and cooked to perfection. The staff is always friendly and keeping the place clean. My *only* wish is they would switch from Pepsi to Coke products.
This Wahoo's has been the main one I've gone to during my 4 years at UCI. Their wet burritos are the best I've had. I specifically like the Mr. Lees Chicken Special Burrito. It costs an extra 25 cents to make it a "wet burrito", but it is so worth it. This burrito has a good amount of mushrooms, so if you like mushrooms, try this!

Cool place to hang out. Food is a little bit boring. Could use a little more seasoning. I got the chicken tacos. It would have been nice if the chicken was grilled rather than steamed.

I feel the food is not as fresh as they used to be. I still cater and use them for the last 25 years. I listen to Heidi & Frank. I truly look forward to Fridays.

I remember enjoying Wahoo's many years ago but what I ordered during my latest visit was boring in flavor no matter how much sauce I added. It was a healthy dish, I'll give them that, but the taste didn't justify the price.
Went for lunch. Line close to out the door. Staff very nice. However it took too long to get tables cleared. Protein bowl was decent. Watch out for the zombie bird outside

So they can't wash dishes during Covid? All the one time use plastic has killed this place for me...I'll be back when they return to plates silverware and reusable glasses

Got a fish and a chicken burrito. There was no flavor to the food and there was barely any chicken in the burrito. The service was good.
Interestingly enough. This is one of those places that demand a tip and you have to find some special screen to opt out even though it is just counter service. Also we specifically asked for no cheese and by the time we got home our take out order had cheese everywhere and they were closed so would t answer the phone.

Black beans and rice tasted weird the fish in the tacos was store bought. you could literally see a microwave that they used to cook basically everything. “Fresh avocados” that I paid 3 dollars for were not fresh and store bought. Basically everything was store bought. DO NOT recommend eating here there is so much better and cheeped options right next to this place. no idea how this place is 4.6 stars it deserves to have 2 stars. The service was nothing special. And the soda was flat a bug landed in my drink. It also smelled bad.
I like wahoo’s, been to various locations for years and enjoyed the food. I was at this location for the 1st time for lunch today with a friend. I ordered salmon bowl. My friend got his food and waited for me to start but it did not happen; i insisted him to eat. A lady came and said “salmon taking some time to cook” (I dont know what it means). Things happen, i was okay with some delay, no biggie.. But then my friend finished his burrito; people ordered after me got their food already, some even finished eating like my friend.. i was still waiting.. since lunch time is limited and we had go back to work i asked them to cancel my order and refund my my money . She said it is almost ready(still not ready). I said too late but they did not want to refund i guess. Then i said to give it to me to go at least and they were interestingly okay with that after ruining my lunch. It was a shame.. This was definitely not good customer service. The fish had a weird taste by the way, I threw it in the trash! 20 bucks for nothing! No more wahoo’s for me!
