Most every time I'm in Dallas I come here for dinner. I've never been disappointed and tonight I had the lamb shank. The food was incredible. The portion was large and very well cooked and absolutely delicious. the service was prompt and restaurant is tidy and clean and very welcoming. Service was great as well. All-round a knockout.
Fabulous food! I also loved the environment. They bake their pita bread within sight and you can also see the meat ready to be carved in the back. The service was really pleasant too. Flavor was fantastic and we can't wait to go back for more. Would highly recommend the Künefe if you're going for dessert. It was mouth watering :) all the food was, honestly.
This is an amazing place to have a meal! The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and everything was fairly priced. It was a great dinner and I can’t wait to go back. The service was spot on and so kind and helpful throughout the night, even tilting umbrellas outside to keep sun out of our eyes. Really, and above and beyond service experience!
Sean thank you for a wonderful experience. The food was fresh and tasty!! Thanks for sharing a little of your culture with me! I will bring my babe with me on a dinner date soon. I ordered a Chicken Greek Salad and Hummus!!! Everything was delicious and plentiful!!!! Such a beautiful environment!! The music is captivating!!
I recently visited Zeytin, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The chicken shawarma was incredibly flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned—one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was warm, inviting, and beautifully set up, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the visit even better. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend Zeytin to anyone looking for delicious Middle Eastern cuisine in a lovely setting.
I recently ordered catering from Zeytin Mediterranean Grill for an event, and everything was fantastic! From the moment I stopped by to pick up the food, the staff was so friendly and had everything packed perfectly and ready to go. We ordered chicken kebabs, gyro meat, Turkish rice, Greek salad, hummus, and pita bread. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and a huge hit with everyone at the event. A special shout-out to the fresh pita bread and hummus… they were amazing! Highly recommend Zeytin for both events and everyday dining. Great food, great people!
I really enjoy this place! I work in Las Colinas and was tired of the fast food options for lunch and decided to try them out one day. I go at least once a week now lol. The owner is so nice and accommodating. And the portion sizes are great I always have enough to take home for dinner usually too. I get the chicken Shawarma bowl with rice and salad. You gotta try them out! And I suggest going in so you can meet everyone. They are also sweet!
This is my new favorite restaurant. The best Mediterranean I have had in DFW. The owner is very nice and accommodating. The food was amazing and plenty of it. He even made me a delicious tea served in a beautiful cup. I highly suggest you check this place out. You will not be disappointed.
A True Turkish Delight at Zeytin! Don't let a few Indian/Pakistani dishes on the menu fool you—Zeytin is the real deal when it comes to authentic Turkish cuisine! From the moment you step in, you're transported to a culinary journey through Turkey, and it's absolutely fantastic. I started with the hummus, which was incredibly fresh and creamy, a perfect start to the meal. The Adana kebab was the star of the show—perfectly spiced, juicy, and cooked to perfection. It truly tasted like something you'd find in the heart of Turkey. To top it all off, the baklava was divine—flaky, sweet, and nutty, just as it should be. And the hot tea was the ideal comforting finish. Every dish was delicious and clearly prepared with care and expertise. If you're looking for legitimate, mouth-watering Turkish food, Zeytin is the place to go. You won't be disappointed!
I stopped in for lunch for a quick bite and found far more than I expected. I ordered a schwarma plate and a side (a name I cannot possibly spell correctly). Everything was fresh, tasty, and beautiful. Far more than I expected. The engaging staff was a nice plus and not something I really expected. Whole-heartedly recommend this as an option for the good people of Irving. EVen worth the short ride from Dallas.
The food was so delicious. My dad ordered a lamb gyro it was one of the best in the metroplex. I ordered the chicken shawarma rice bowl and it was phenomenal. I was craving some pita chips to go along with my bowl, the owner/manager (not sure) made some just for me. They were so delicious!! We finished them all. The service was excellent, thank you zeytin for having awesome customer service and amazing food.
Our food tasted excellent and the staff was very friendly. The salmon we ordered had charred skin which we aren’t used to so we asked for another, by the time the replacement came, we were so hungry that we ate what we could from the grilled salmon. They sent 2 full plates to replace the salmon we complained about and the chef even came out to explain to us that the way the salmon is grilled they let the skin burn cos no one eats the skin. Our friends even said they would come again, all the way from Frisco because the food was so yummy and they impressed by the service.
Our best Mediterranean experience in Dallas since 2015. We may have had similar or even better food from a couple of other places but the service here was unparalleled. Our servers weee very friendly, knowledgeable, and served us all through our dining experience with utmost precision. All entrees were laid out impeccably and all items were worth the price. There’s nothing we could say negative about tonight. Even the bathrooms were neat and tidy.
Went here today for a team lunch. Lunch specials were a great price. I had a lamb gyro combo (includes fries & drink). There was no waitstaff and we were expecting to be waited on. We ordered at counter and food was brought to our table. Friendly service. Food was good. Tasted fresh. I enjoyed the baba ganoush. Saffron rice was really good.
Tried the gyro wrap combo that came with fries and a drink for lunch. This wrap is a giant, like the size of a burrito named after a type of pepper. There is a lot of meat, and just the right amount of sauce, onion and tomato on it. The pita was warm, soft and fluffy and had a slight chargrilled taste that makes it very good. The fries were a miss, they were served cold and soggy and did not have any flavor so I discarded them. I’d recommend some seasoning, sea salt or maybe substituting rice or chips instead. The hummus appetizer is very good and comes with three pieces of thin, crispy pita that they bake themselves in house. I ordered an additional side of tzatziki sauce and the one I received was heavy on the dill and lemon flavor. It did not allow the cucumber to shine through. I know there are regional variations and this was good though, but did not taste the same as what was on my gyro. That’s ok, I think it would have overpowered the feta flavor that was on my gyro. I’d recommend this spot for lunch. A wrap, side and to go drink was $13.
First time visit, was there with my family. Celebrating birthday. Atmosphere was good, food presentation was good, service was great, but food itself was Not good. We ordered several different dinner items, meat quality was horrible. Dry and does not have any flavor.
Solid 3.5 overall. Food was good, service was good. Atmosphere was nice. Really like the brick oven and the bread coming out of it. The hummus with meat was decent, but coated in lots of oil.
Everything about this spot feels half-baked. From the interior design to the food. The best redeeming quality is the friendliness and standards for service. Before i say what could be improved, i will add that i wouldnt recommend this place for any occasion other than affordable takeout to satisfy a craving. Food: Some dishes are definitely better than others, but Turkish street food disguised as elevated fancy dishes is a disservice, honestly. Presentation was beautiful, but attention to detail in the taste and preparation was low. Tomato sauce lacked depth or excitement that it was presented to possess. Yogurt sauce lacked the herbal zing that Elevated Mediterranean sauces are known for! The tomato+cucumber was too modest in portion. And the grilled tomato+zucchini feels inauthentic for a few dishes.. The “saffron” rice feels watered down and without resonance of herbs or flavor. The naan/pita bread was alright and fresh, probably, but is too modest in portion if its hand made. The doner and meats are overall a bit salty for my tastes, and lack the beauty of fresh, juicy cut meat. Imagine eating reheated meat from a street food vendor in Turkey!! Not accusing but its what it tastes like in some dishes.. Lastly, the radish is lovely but string radish as long as ramen noodles is silly. I shouldnt have to twirl the radish around my fork to then pick up rice, fruit, and meat. Its a lot of excess work to enjoy a quick bite. Its a fun addition in theory, but practicality is the nature of Turkish foods in my opinion. I should be able to combine each element of a dish in a single bite in a comfortable and consistent fashion. For the owner: Aim for elevated dining or quick street food, and separate or refine your menu accordingly. Be consistent for the experience and expectations of your guests.. INTERIOR: I genuinely enjoy the ambience of the dine-in experience, some refined music playing softly or even jazz wouldve been nice to eat with.. but the decor is nice at least. Its a beautiful and comfortable seating. My only qualm is the feng shui.. too many tables and too cramped. Its seating for a sloppy diner yet masquerading as a fine eatery. Inconsistency in design is poor taste. Be consistent and the target audience can be happy always, but inconsistency makes for an awkward experience.
This was the third time we have been to Zeytin and both other times the food was great but this time was a sore disappointment. We had a party of 6 at 5:30p today,(Saturday) and we were the only party there for the first 20 mins of our meal, and 3 of our 6 dishes were cold (they should have been warm). The meat was tougher than usual and my partner's salad tasted freezer burned. I was upset because this was the first time I'd taken my extended family there. Unfortunately we won't be back.
Wasn't impressed. To make what could be a long review simple. Was walking distance from my hotel, so super convenient for me. It was dead in here, and should be it was a Sunday night at 8 pm. But you'd figure you would have some nice food? Right? Ordered the hummus plate to start and it was really forgetful. Pita was dry and not great. The hummus itself was very forgetful and I feel immediately after this was splaced my main course showed up. Which is a pet peeve of mine. Space them out a little. What's the rush? I was literally one of 3 people in the restaurant. The meat from my gyro plate was very dry. You eat with your eyes and it wasn't appetizing. Overall, maybe it was an off night. But I don't think I'll come back even if it was an off night.
I got shocked 😮 I have tried thousands of restaurants in my life and when I saw the reviews I thought it would be super amazing I tried falafel and it’s 3/10 or less!! I tried Zigara borek it’s 6/10 Baba ghanoug 3/10 Mixed grill 4/10 Bread 2/10 Soda drink 10/10 We paid 80$ for that food that you can’t eat! Also there was a pink moldy pickle that smells and taste acidifier very old I don’t know how they didn’t throw it in trash?!! We couldn’t complete the food as usual because the bad taste And they have only one girl working on around 4-6 tables!! All by herself and that’s why she can’t be fast to help.. I usually try to support restaurants with reviews but unfortunately I got shocked here and I will never ever come back 💔
