Cozy spot with a spacious courtyard hangout in the back. Coffee was delicious, highly recommend their cinnamon rolls as well. Staff is friendly and attentive. Plenty of spots to sit in the front of back.
Great friendly service, good food, good coffee, friendly to dogs. What else is there to ask for?
Love that they have so many plant based options including waffles, made on site vegan burritos and even vegan apple fritter Great customer service.
I had a great espresso macchiato And the real surprise was an apple fritter cake, which is also vegan and it was wonderful
Garden Avo toast is the best here!
Great location- welcome to Mosaic Locale! A quite corner opposite to the Art Museum, just $3-5 for a good brew, another $5 for a delicious cake or treat.
very friendly owner and good coffee.
Went here for a quick stop for lunch while passing through town, coffee and food were delicious and the owners are incredible. Reliable wifi so I was able to get some work done. Will definitely come back if im ever in the area again 💜 Thank you for the zip ties! They were a life saver 🙌
Best coffee I've had in Santa Barbara so far. Decent amount of seating. You have to ask for wifi access at the time of purchase. Great neighborhood coffee shop.
A nice little coffee shop in downtown Santa Barbara! We stopped in to get a snack and ended up sitting down in the courtyard outside to enjoy the yummy coffee and sunshine. They share the space with other local restaurants/cafes, so there were plenty of different unique & yummy options to chose from. I got an iced caramel lavender cold brew that was fabulous, and my husband had an iced green tea matcha with honey. The staff was friendly and seemed to have some good relationships with regulars/local patrons. They had plenty of indoor seating inside & out. There were also glasses and water for us to enjoy along side our treats. I would recommend stopping here if you are in-town exploring for the day.

I've only been here twice now, but this is definitely my new favorite coffee in the area. The quality of the espresso is incomparable to any espresso I've had. It tastes SO good. The baked goods (white chocolate raspberry blondie and the lemon poppyseed loaf) were super delicious, very fresh and good quality, and they are locally made in the area which is so nice to see companies supporting local businesses. The service here is also great. The employees and managers are very kind and caring of their customers which is something I appreciate.
Finally a cool new coffee spot in IV! This place has AMAZING cold brew & bomb breakfast burritos that they make in-house. It’s got a clean look, super-friendly staff, and chill, deep house tunes going all day. Also lots of outdoor seating & parking. Definitely my new, go-to coffee spot!
FINALLY found the perfect coffee place in IV. It has tons of seating, both indoors and outdoors, and perfectly complements the laid-back Santa Barbara atmosphere. I’ve already been twice and plan to be a regular. Staff is friendly and polite, perfect for socializing or studying, very clean and tidy, and coffee is perfect (coming from someone who is never satisfied with their coffee😅). I usually get a cappuccino, but my friends liked their iced coffee too. Definitely go try!
Two friends of mine recommended I try my first-ever Matcha here at the Old Town Coffee, so we ordered the raspberry matcha. When I tell you, since then I have tried raspberry matchas at many different coffee shops, but none of them are as perfect as the ones here. It does not have a strong grassy taste to it, and they put the perfect amount of raspberry flavoring to it. On top of that, the service and the people working there are 10/10. Very friendly, helpful, and always down for a good conversation. Not to mention, the $2 pastry deal after 2 pm...it's just my favorite coffee shop in America!
BEST place to study!! truly great coffee, yummy eats, and fresh air, right in the center of IV so you’re close to EVERYTHING. i drop my laundry next door and get to work, the atmosphere is so nice and focused. thanks old town! 🩷
Great chai and a bunch of different options of syrups to choose from. Free WiFi and a great place to study

Their syrups are great! I am not a fan of syrup as it always too sweet and covers the coffee flavor. And I thought sometime coffee shop use syrup to hide the fact that they can’t make good espresso and beans are bad. But their syrups surprise me. Syrup adds a touch of joy to your coffee and pretty balanced sweetness!!! Make my day everyday! 🥳

Very good Coffee in Saint Barbara. Old Town Coffee bring back my Italian breakfast! good Coffee latte, croissant and sun shine. 👍🤤
Went there last June 2024. One of the recommended local cafes in Sta Barbara. A good selection of craft coffee and drinks. Pretty busy area with many tourist traffic so the seats may be easily filled
Nice coffee shop in downtown Santa Barbara! Obviously a unique place with the draft dispensers around. Plentiful variety of coffee drinks and food items in a great location. Loved the ambience of the outdoors especially. To be perfectly honest, the coffee didn’t strike me as anything special or remarkably good. But, the staff were lovely and clearly treat their customers with care! That is well appreciated beyond any particular brew or single drink experience. Kuddos!

Half friendly service, half not. Always been that vibe. It’s cool I can play that too. But in a mega sustainability leaning college town, to look at a regular customer who asks to pay for a cup of hot water in their freshly washed reusable mug, and say with seeming attitude, “yeah we can’t really fill up YOUR cup” without offering an alternative, just isn’t rad service. $1 for your paper cup was fine to offer rather than me having to ask a second time. Others would call it rude. I call it an sb day. Cheers. Indoor and outdoor seating… Coffee espresso matches pastries etc, menu with avo toast and more. Good when it’s good. Usually low key chill. Merch and coffee for sale.

Cappuccino had nice art but the actual coffee tasted burnt and mid. Witnessed the owner being territorial and kicking people out from their empty patio. Not a very friendly or welcoming environment and the shop was desolate. I guess it's good to have competition to see that Cajé is the better choice for both coffee and vibes in IV.
