Love the food and the ppl that work here. Saludos desde Florida 🙏 No cambien por fa!
We loved the food. We had Flautas and enchiladas. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. The service was fast and very friendly.
If you guys want some good fajitas I definitely recommend you guys come here!! Everyone is really nice and the food is amazing.
Best Mexican place in Joshua. I’m from north Fort Worth where there are so many more options and I’m so glad I found this place! Now I do t have to drive to downtown for good authentic Mexican food.
The tacos were great and so was the service. Would recommend
The food was so delicious and I love that both the flour and corn tortillas are made there fresh!
Recently opened and food is good, service is good, but my suggestion is to provide more food options, enchiladas, flautas, Gordian ect..ect., Caldo,de res, or de Pollo/ Pescado. It's just a very simple menu selection.
So happy to find authentic Mexican food. Everything was amazing and the hand made tortillas put the cherry on top. 11 out of 10
Love the food everything is good every time I come!!! Come eat!!
Support your local business!!!! The service was great and the food was just amazing!!!! Found my new favorite place!!!!
If you want AUTHENTIC Mexican food, this is the place. Food was amazing, restaurant was super clean, staff was very friendly. Wish I would have taken a picture of our food before it was devoured. We will be back.
I’m giving them a 5 star for their amazing service. I ordered a large order to go, one of my orders wasn’t right and they literally brought me the correct order all the way to my house. I’m thankful because they didn’t have to, but they went above and beyond to correct and make it right. I’m thankful once again and will be a returning customer.
Best Mexican food in the whole area. Great people and staff.
This place is so inviting. I loved it. I got the Quessabirria tacos and my husband got a huge burrito. Everything about this place was amazing. Will definitely come back here!!
Delicious food! Great service! Clean. Will be coming back often!
Great food and service, waiter was friendly and very helpful, had the carne asada and chicken and they were on point, wife had the gorditas and daughter had the barbacoa plate. Everything was hot and fresh and as a plus freshly home made tortillas. Highly recommend this place if you want to try authentic Mexican food.
Authentic Mexican Food!! Friendly staff along with a great atmosphere!! 10/10
I had the taco plate. 1 barbacoa, 1 pastor and 1 chicken. All totally delicious! The rice and refried beans were also great 👍🏻
Wonderful restaurant with a welcoming feeling! Amazing food! The carne asada plate was fantastic and I definitely recommend it!
Great place. I had the beef fajitas and they were really good, especially with homemade flour tortillas.
My first time there with family . The food was great authentic Mexican homemade food. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Friendly customer service.
Not only was the inside this restaurant beautiful, The staff was absolutely friendly and the food was so delicious my friends and I all ordered mixed drinks as well and they were so good we were shocked. I cannot believe this places has been given bad reviews we had the best lunch ever and I will be coming back real soon!
First time trying this place and it was delicious! The atmosphere is so nice and the service was quick and amazing!
Outstanding establishment. Handcrafted chairs and tables are gorgeous! Food was absolutely amazing! Chicharrón burritos was so good not your typical chicharrón burrito. We ordered a (virgin) michelada 😍
After the place where we were getting our street tacos screwed us around went looking for another place. Definitely found it. The tacos are excellent and the salsa is outstanding. Thinking next trip trying something else.
Y'all, let me tell you. If you are looking for some comfort food (tacos, burritos, carne asada), Las Alazanas gotchu. The food was amazing, the service was personalized, and the atmosphere was definitely fun! I ordered the Carne Asada Plate and was not disappointed! The food was piping hot and flavorful, the tortillas tasted like they were made by hand, and the salsa....the salsa was to die for! The agua de horchata tasted like a perky version of the Klass packets (kool-aid version with some sweetened condensed milk) so it wasn't grainy, which is my personal preference, but it was still good. Highly reccomend as they do not dissapoint! The prices are reasonable, about $15-20 per person, but I am a big back and love to over-order for midnight snacks. Looking forward to going back and trying other options on the menu.
The colorful decorations make me feel right at home, even if it may cause a bit of sensory overload. The staff is quick and friendly. I had a lengua burrito, and the meat was so tender it was insane! I also had one of their alcoholic drinks. I forget the name, but I remember it was perfectly creamy and tasty. Definitely 10/10 experience!
Where do I begin? Las alazanas delivers quality service and food, whether is be breakfast, lunch or dinner! The staff is so friendly! The morning cook has a great personality and she will make sure you are taken care of! Whether you come for the Tortas or stay to the tequila, you are sure to enjoy and leave full. Thank you for moving to Joshua!!!!!
The food was excellent and the atmosphere was also
Best Mexican restaurant, give this place a try. Very good very fair prices great atmosphere you won’t regret it. Great service and great employees.
Kaila was superb and very server attentive. She was fast and friendly! The food was great and the restaurant authentic and colorful!
I recently found this little spot and love it. I’m always on the hunt for the best mom and pop restaurants. Especially Mexican restaurants that serve breakfast. The restaurant is clean. The prices are good. The staff is friendly. And as long as they’re not to busy they’ll make me a breakfast burrito anytime of day. Their salsa verde is some of the best I’ve had. Plus they have a bar and karaoke on Saturday nights. I definitely suggest checking this place out.
Here to balance out the reviews over your tik tok. I thought it was funny. for everybody reading this I have not tried the food.
i’ve been trying to find a good authentic mexican restaurant to eat at and i decided to try this place for the first time and it was so good. 10/10 the food and service was amazing.
We Come here about once a week So good!!
I came here because of the Tick Tok, you guys are funny keep doing your thing. Anyone who takes two seconds to read through your actual reviews with know that you have good food and good service.
Authentic mexican, not tex mex. Fantastic
I had fajitas . Some of the best . Since I’ve been in the Joshua / Berleson area . Kayla my waitress has very good service and hospitality. My go to Mexican restaurant!
Came here with 2 adults and 3 kids. The service was great and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Kaila was so amazing!!!! So welcoming, so quick, and so beautiful and smiley!!!! :) Am definitely coming back over and over and over <3 thanks for the amazing margarita sweet kaila!!
Very awesome! You should definitely try it. The waitress Kaila is very nice and attentive...By the way they all have a "Great sense of humor" love coming for lunch 4sure.
Food is amazing. Kayla was a wonderful host. And for the price, you can’t beat it. 10/10 would recommend trying this place out. Music hits, food hits, service is great!
Everything was fantastic! Great customer service and amazing food. I had the quesabirria and it was some of best I’ve had. My wife had the grilled chicken and rice plate and it was enough food to feed her for 3 meals! The waitress was super friendly and attentive. We can’t wait to go back again! Definitely our new favorite Mexican place in the Joshua/Burleson area.
We just had the best Mexican food dinner around Burleson/Joshua. Saturday evening from 7-10 they have live music. The food and service was exceptional. We will definitely be back! The owners daughters are precious.
Just moved to Joshua, this place was very clean, great friendly service, authentic Mexican food, one of the best chicharron tacos I’ve had in a long time. Loved how crispy (not soggy, if you know you know) corn tortilla or chips (not sure) was in my Migas. Will definitely be a go to for the family.
I enjoyed breakfast there yesterday morning with a buddy of mine both had the breakfast burrito with chorizo the food everything was amazing and they’ve done a lot of upgrades the restaurant now has a bar area TV for games. They put a lot of money in that place since they got it and it used to be a huddle house. Both really enjoyed it, and the lady serving us was beyond friendly and beyond quick and fast and the food was delicious. We’ll be going back.
Man, this food is cooked fresh and is home made! Absolutely delicious! I wish I lived closer so I could eat there more often. Great place to get some breakfast or lunch!
Amazing experience! Everything was great, the food was delicious and comes in big portions. The restaurant has a unique atmosphere with beautiful designs and an authentic feel, the tables and chairs are carved and painted with unique designs on each. The service is quick and friendly while providing a good view, 10/10 would recommend!
Awesome food! The best rice EVER!
I heard we're getting some bad reviews over a joke. Personally I love the joke, it made me laugh. Please don't change, I fully support ya'll and the great state of Texas, I hope she gets her vacation! I'll stop in next time I'm in that neck of the woods.
This place is amazing!! Food is a 10/10! Drinks are delightful and more than reasonably priced. THE FOOD IS THE BEST IVE HAD IN A LONG WHILE!! I cannot sing enough praises and cannot wait to come back!
This place is incredible! The food is amazing! I especially liked the pastor tacos! In addition, it’s family owned and run and it is full of gorgeous, hand painted, hand carved art! You gotta check it out!
Las Alanzanas has become a staple for my fiancee and I. The food is always on point whether it’s breakfast lunch or dinner. The menudo on the weekend is so good too. The service is always attentive and friendly. I just love the vibe of a family run restaurant, and Alanzanas provides that with great food. Cant ask for much more!
Traditional Mexican food , made from scratch top shelf Bar Drinks ! Family friendly, someone invested in handmade wooden furniture, just know you’re sitting in something well planned out !
I cane here for the first time and the first thing I noticed was that it's so much prettier and nicer than the reviews I seen of this place. So, I'll upload current pics of the inside for yall! The seating is beautiful! Very nice tables and chairs! Theres also a total of 6 tvs in this restaurant for those who enjoy watching tv and eating. The menu is on the wall but they also have the paper/book menus as well. They accept cash and card. It's a small place but it's perfect. The pretty girl that took my order also is the one who jumped back there and started cooking my food and I can even sit here and watch. She's wearing her gloves and getting it done! Also there's someone else prepping on the side! I ordered 3 flour tortilla tacos and added cheese to them and a sweet tea. They look amazing and taste amazing too!
Really great place with a very home atmosphere.
My families new favorite Mexican food restaurant! The vibrant colors in the restaurant are fun. It's definitely an authentic Mexican spot. The kids loved the sweet horchata and the carne asada burritos. Hubby had a lengua burrito with all the fixings and said the green salsa was tasty. I had the soft taco plate with lengua. The red rice reminded me how my abuelita would make it... yummy!
Family-owned and operated. I was very impressed with the service and food. I miss South Texas tacos but this place will do! I wish I would have taken a photo of the inside, super cute.
Barbacoa tacos are amazing! Great margaritas too.
Beautiful remodel, could stare at it forever. The food is great and the service is friendly and fast
Came in for a quick lunch and everything was great! I love the fresh homemade salsa!! I got the carne asada gorditas plate and my dad got cheese enchiladas. Amazing spot, definitely recommend.
I was very impressed and the Tacos were on point. I highly recommend.

Great food and service with a really authentic atmosphere! I will definitely be back soon!
LISTEN TO ME!!!!!!!! I don't care where you live. Get yourself to this place immediately. When you walk in, you will feel like you are in Mexico. You will be greeted by the very sweet staff. When you look at the menu, you may think, wow, they must be proud of their food. THERE IS A REASON!!! My wife had the chicken and rice, and it was absolutely amazing. The chicken was so tender and delicious that it would make you slap your momma. I had the burrito, and it was amazing as well. I'm a fairly large dude, and I needed an extra hand just to hold it. If there is ever a bad review of this place, it will be out of pure jealousy. If they create a fan club, I will be one the first to be in it. I'm still full and already thinking of a reason to go to Joshua!!!!
This is my favorite restaurant of all time. Not only is the food absolutely amazing, the artwork on the tables and walls are breathtaking. Worth every penny and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Amazing food, I had barbacoa tacos, my husband had steak enchiladas with quest. The prices are a bit high. When other places around has just as good of food for a lower price.
Absolutely loved my experience at Las Alazanas Restaurant! The food was delicious, authentic, and full of flavor, you can really taste the flavor in every bite. Kaila was welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere made it feel like a party. Whether you’re craving traditional dishes or just want a comforting meal, this place hits the spot. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and great vibes! Music was on point!

The food and service were good. The place was clean. It's nice for a quick bite. I had the quesadillas they were very delicious!
Salsa was spicy Tacos were good, but I didn’t like the flavor of the Al pastor tacos
I had high hopes for this place and likely set the mental bar high before even going. So that could play into this review. Trying to remain as unbiased as I possible can. The atmosphere is great. The carved, hand painted chairs are really awesome to look at and admire the craftsmanship. There is a small bar in the corner that looks to have a decent selection (I don't drink, but it's there.) The service was good overall. Friendly and quick. I ordered a chorizo, egg and cheese burrito. It was wildly underwhelming. There was 98% egg and 2% chorizo sparsely sprinkled cheese. The tortilla was nicely grilled and soft, but other that it was a huge letdown. Not much flavor to speak of. The salsas they gave me with the burrito were ok. I typically love green sauce, unfortunately there wasn't a ton of flavor offered from that either. The red sauce was decent but if you didn't like spicy you likely won't like it. Overall, I give this place a 5.5 out of 10.
As you walk in you’re met with a full array of COLOR from all the beautifully decorated Tables and Chairs. From the looks of it they are all hand made and painted which gives this place a family, Mexican vibe. The prices are a little above average for the place it’s located at and the sign on the bathroom entrance says . “All those who tip go to heaven.” -So tip but at Checkout the tip starts at 20% I got tacos which were really flavorful and the Tortilla was different because it had this taste of seasoning as well. The chicken tacos were okay but the chicken needed a little salt, the pastor was super salty but good at the same time, the steak was cooked well and presentation was nice. They didn’t have Jamaica juice but the sweet tea was good. For me it’s a try once spot because of the prices. More affordable tacos spots around and for the same quality of tacos.
Went with my daughter today for a quick lunch. Not a bad experience, but also not my favorite Mexican have ever had. I queso was very very thick and I wasn’t loving the flavors of the enchilada sauce. Maybe this was more TexMex and less traditional…. But from my 9 years of travel (see my reviews of local restaurants in Puerto Vallarta) , I have never had anything like what I had here. Although this place is not my style…. The staff was friendly and did go above and beyond. Mom and daughter were the ones running it! I would try it again and see if maybe it was just the dish I ordered. I don’t love raw onion in my enchiladas and was anticipating they would be cooked. The potatoes were covered I. The same sauce…. So it was A LOT of the same flavor on the plate. The drink my kiddo got wasn’t well blended and had such large chunks of ice it would go through the straw. The rice was really good! Lots of flavor. The salsa was good enough I would get it a quart to go for at home. Has great flavor and heat. We did enjoy that! This review is a reflection of my own personal excperiance and I would recommend giving it a try for yourself when in the area. It’s a lovely place ran by a very kind family. :)

As a first time we got lucky, we had no idea they close early on Sundays. Tacos were good, agua de limon was alright. The kids chicken with cheese plate was good too. Only flaw was the menudo was out, although pozole was an option to have made our visit pleasant but no cabbage topping. Will definitely have to visit again. Taste is authentic and location is very convenient. The interior design is very appealing brings mexican culture comfortability.
Chicken and steak enchiladas were terrible. Stay away you've been warned. This place will never make it with their high prices and terrible food.
Food was ok way over priced for what you get over $11 for just a burrito that the tortilla wouldn't stay together on because it was to hard, chips and salsa is extra apparently because we were not offered any and if you want a togo say tea it cost you on top of the tea you already bought, little over $3 more. Won't be back to this little hole in the wall.
The food was below average. The service was terrible. We asked for tea, but they were out. We then asked for a glass of ice water. We received bottled water instead. After we got it we there were others in the restaurant who had glasses of water. When I went to pay the bill, she told me it was $39. It shouldn't have been more than $25. I asked her to check the bill. She said it was correct. I asked to see it and she wouldn't show me. A manager came over. I told him what we ordered, and he agreed that the bill was incorrect. She argued with the manager!
We had been here before and the experience then, was just ok. The ONLY reason we went back was because my wonderful wife told me the restaurant had changed ownership. We got there later in the evening and noone was there. They were cleaning up and the lady who was dusting off a rug, came over and mentioned they were going to close in about an hour. The chips 🍟 and salsa she brought out, were just ok. The lady told us not to rush, and take our time ordering. We ordered fajitas and an enchiladas plate. The lady when we were ordering, reminded us to take our time to eat and not to rush. By that time I started feeling rushed. We received our meal, and a guy in a cap came from out the kitchen and asked us politely if we needed anything else? You guessed it, he added that he was not rushing us. He told us to take our time because they were closing in half an hour. The lady came right behind him and asked if we needed anything else as she slipped the check on the table. By this time, we were ready to leave.. I realized the flavor of the food had not changed any. It was the same thing I remembered from 6 months before that. Plain, lacking flavor and mediocre at best. The beef fajitas just didn't taste right to me, and the beans were mucky, bland and flavorless. The tortillas were probably bought from the sonic or gas station down the street. The servers were kind, the atmosphere was beautiful and the decorations gave me a sense and taste of Mexico 🇲🇽 that the food was lacking. My wife also passed on the enchiladas and asked if perhaps I thought sonic might still be opened. I assured her there was no rush as we rushed to to get up out of there.
first off CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS! we were somehow overcharged! but amount was exactly what a 20% tip would be for overpriced food and secondly never once did they come check if we needed a refill (which we did), nor did they check to see how the food was if you don't eat spicy food DO NOT ORDER THE MENUDO it was so spicy i couldn't finish it, drinks are ridiculously expensive and i read someone else's comment about them being so loud laughing in the kitchen it seemed very unprofessional for a group of women laughing so loud even the music they were playing was explicit the only nice thing about this place is how colorful the tables were
Ordered a burrito and the total was 12$ for a tortilla filled with just meat and for some reason canned peas and carrots? Ended up getting sick from it.
Please people stay away from this place. And definitely do not order menudo here it's disgusting and it was raw. I had to throw it away, and I also ordered a Mexican Coke that they charged me almost 5 dollars for and I did not receive it.
Tacos Terrible No flavor, ordered a quesadilla as well because for some reason a lot of places cannot make something that simple. It was hardly cooked. The cheese was melted like they put it in the microwave. Not good.
Got 2 breakfast burritos. Both tasted like soap! Literally soap! Threw both away. Never going back. Just horrible experience.
The food was ok but the manager/owner was extremely rude to me because I didn’t have the door dash app & she wouldn’t give me my food, even went as far as telling me that I probably didn’t even have a job. I had asked for my money back because she wouldn’t give me my food that had already paid for. I have told everyone about this woman, she doesn’t know how to run a business & after the way she talked to me I’ll never go back.
The Restaurant is beautiful in the inside, but the lady that took My family's Order (lady with really short hair)was not helpful at all, had a attitude the whole time, after another costumers left the same lady that took our order started to talk bad about her calling her a home wrecker and all kinds of other things. SMH she's Need to be Fired!
Way overpriced for what it is. Always be sure to check your receipt. Somehow, $80 for 2 adults and 2 kids, sharing a plate, seemed to be too much, but my own fault for not looking at the receipt. For $80, there are plenty of better places that don't have the appearance of a renovated Waffle House with mediocre food.
They microwave their food, my Bf and I went there and all we heard was the microwave going off, no pots and pans cooking on a stove . The queso was awful you can tell it was canned cheese. We only paid for the two soft drinks and the cheese dip, cost us 20 bucks just for that. Over priced and disgusting
Came here a few weeks ago at about noon with my gf. Ordered the chips and queso and two sodas to start. And we ordered a couple entrees as well. They brought our soda. It was normal. They brought our queso. Stale chips with what tasted like queso from the can. Then we heard microwaves going off as opposed to cooking on the grill. We made an excuse to leave because our bill was already at $20 for the sodas and queso. We left and ate somewhere else. Boo on them for charging high prices for microwaved food.
Painfully slow service. Stale chips. Weak margarita. And then our orders were wrong. BUT the tacos were delicious. Beans and rice were amazing. The salsa was fresh and spicy. So...bad service, pretty good food.
Food is great. However the waitress and cashiers are awful. Namely they will ring your order into the register in a way that strong arms you into paying more than the menu pricing. I ordered a taco plate and added a fourth taco and asked to have my rice and beans separated because I have kids who are going to be eating off my plate. I get to the register and she rings everything in seperatly making the meal 6 additional dollars. I asked her to change it and she said that's how you ordered it. To which I said that isnt how I ordered it you're trying to gouge the price. Tldr they charge more to put the rice and beans on the side so don't ask for that. It was not mentioned on their menu nor did she inform me of this restriction prior to placing the order.
Never again. I have eaten there quite a few times. Stopped today. Ordered a quesadilla ($8.99), two tacos ($2.50 each) and sweet tea. Got a refill on my tea. Went to pay and my bill was $24.80???? Asked why so high, and he said i had 2 tea's. So I paid around $9.00 for a tea bag and 4 cups of water? Nope. I asked once and will not argue. They took the last dollar from my pocket.
Picked up almost $100 worth of food. Menudo was cold and was mostly broth. Cheese enchiladas were not even cooked the cheese inside was cold shredded cheese topped with Luke warm Velveeta not queso. Only a couple bites of rice and beans served with the plates. We didn't recieve the chips and Salas we paid for. Save your money and go some where else.
Food is good but the customer service was absolutely horrible. We got the Flautas before and they were covered with guacamole. This time I asked if she could just separate the Flautas or put the guacamole on the side. She said she’d have to ask the cook. She came back and said no! I asked why and she said it’s for the presentation. She said either I take it the way it is or I can have it removed. I asked if she can remove it why can’t she just put it on the side. She said it’s all measured. (If you can measure it when you put it on the Flautas why can’t you measure it when you put it on the side) She cares more about the presentation then simply asking the cook to put the guacamole on the side. I’ll refuse to eat here again simply because of her attitude. You are a cashier at a small family owned Mexican restaurant, not a high end Chief.
