Awesome gem in Kerrville! Great beer and burger!
Stopped in here for lunch with a couple of friends and will definitely be back. Everything was fantastic. From the great beers, my pizza was excellent and a dog friendly patio to boot! The staff were very friendly and took great care of us. I highly recommend it.
We're beer snobs, flat out. That said, I was blown away as they were all good/great. I generally hate porters and dislike most Octoberfest.... these were very good. ....but the Belgian, 👌 wow, that level of execution is rare.
Delicious brews and eats, tucked in just off the main drag of town. The scotch all and american IPA were very good. The green salad was healthy and nourishing. The pizza was thin, crispy and tasting. Choices for kids, adults for both meals and snacking alike. We really enjoyed the indoor/outdoor feel. The atmosphere was inviting. Service was always smiling and helpful. We would like to come back and enjoy some of their live music in the future. The attached coffee shop was a huge bonus for our group of weary travelers.
My wife and I were in San Antonio for a conference, so we drove out to Kerrville to meet my niece and her baby for lunch. We met at Pint & Plow for lunch and we were quite pleased with the food, drink, atmosphere, staff, and service. My wife had the chicken Caesar salad (note, the small is more than enough for a human) and I had the Rueben sandwich. The food was delicious and there is a good selection of craft beers. They also serve Mexican Coke, they must know a guy. There is also a good size coffee bar that I did not have the opportunity to indulge in, too bad for me. Overall, this was a very good experience.
I absolutely love this place!! The food was amazing! The beer was amazing! The atmosphere was amazing! The flight is definitely a must have to try them all! I love that they balance trendy with history. The fact sheet about all the historic preservation they’ve done is awesome. We where constantly checked on and I can’t think of a cooler place to stop!
Got off the interstate for lunch and was surprised to find this amazing brewery. I thought it was new but was surprised to find out it's been open 13 years, you would never know it because the owners obviously take pride in keeping it brand new. Food, beer and service are all top notch.
The walk to Pint & Plow from the river trail is about 7 min. We enjoyed their pizza the first time we came. For this visit, we had the reuben, a small deconstructed falafel salad, and the hyphen burger. Despite being busy, we managed to have our food in 10 min. The fries were wonderfully seasoned and crunchy. The corned beef in the reuben was perfect. The tahini in the salad dressing could have been a little more apparent but we still enjoyed it. Also, the side salad was a great value for $6. The restaurant was clean and we loved the feeling being outside yet indoors. Friendly servers & staff. There's a complimentary water station and tables outside had water bowls for dogs. Overall, we loved our visit. Can't wait to go back!
Bring the family to this awesome pub… the atmosphere, food, and people are family friendly. Pets are welcome on the patio outside. The beer here is great… to be fair I only had one… but I’ll be back soon. Tue food was outstanding. My parents split the Rueben and I had one to myself… great sandwich, corned beef was on point, bread was delicious. My daughter let me try her roast beet… yes beet not beef… seriously good. Sweet beets, savory bacon, and an acidic vinaigrette cuts through perfectly. My wife got grilled cheese… it was perfection. The pretzels were different… other than the shape very very different… but different is sometimes good and these were delicious and went with the beer.
Update: 1-2023 We continue enjoying our experience here. Food is consistently good. Atmosphere is a cool vibe with old fashioned music playing subtly in the background. My son loved the Reuben sandwich. I ordered the pizza which is enough for two people. Crust is thin and crispy. Flavor was good. 2022 Yum. An oasis of good vibes, good beer, and good food. Urban industrial decor, art, & merch. Coffee shop connected. Garage doors open for indoor/outdoor seating. Folky, coffee house Music playing in the background add to the overall atmosphere. Pets allowed outside. I ordered at the register and sat down with a lager and number for my meal. Their burgers come with buns, but I asked for lettuce instead. Burgers made to order (thank you!) The burger "dressing" was delicious; some smoked up mayo. And their pickles! Oh my, so good! First time here and it did not disappoint in any way. Service nice and quick. Will come back!
Truly the best! We came here as they’ve donated toward trees for the park nearby (good citizens) and it was absolutely delish!! Super yum refreshing beers and one of the best salads I’ve had… so fresh! Wine was so good, pizza & sandwiches looked great, and the patio & inside space were perfection. Highest recommendation!
We came here with friends for a beer and an appetizer and had a lovely time. I had the shandy and it was delicious on a warm day! It was made with lemonade and their IPA, fabulous. We had chips and salsa and the price was very reasonable. The service is minimal, walk up with their menu available via a QR code, posted on the wall and printed menus. The atmosphere is fun with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a very cool recording studio inside which was fun to check out.
Came here during lunch. Ordered the Hen House pizza, the Bavarian style pretzel and the All Night shredded pull pork sandwich. The Hen House was tasty especially the dough, the pretzel was delish also, especially the cheese dip. Only glitch was the pull pork. The pull pork was cold and flavorless. The atmosphere was nice, it seems like it might get lively during the evenings, there is a stage
This is a great casual little spot with sprinkles of charm all over. LOVE the pretzel with a beer after work! The pizza was good but the crust was a little more dense than I typically enjoy (Neapolitan is more my style) but the flavors were good. They always have little individual desserts for sale and fresh sourdough. Great little hill country spot! Update: I’ve been experimenting with making my own flavor combinations, white sauce with arugula and bacon is by far the winner! Must try!
I lived in that town for 4 years and never realized this amazing place was there! Truly a breath of fresh air in an intimate location. While it is in the middle of town, you'd never even know it. On nice days the outdoor patio is perfect for hanging out with friends. Likewise the interior is very clean and modern. Food is very fresh and the pretzels are amazing! I've only visited a few times but definitely a new favorite! The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is because I have not sampled the alcohol yet, which is a part of the staple of Pint & Plow. But I'm sure, they will still leave a positive impression!
Loved this location and the building. A beauty, trendy spot. We came in on a Saturday morning and the place was almost empty. The coffee and chai tea were delicious. Website said there was brunch, but it was really unclear how to order, the sign only had a couple items on it. Not what we were hoping for. This place has a lot of potential, but needs more purpose, at least for brunch.
Had high expectations for this place given the review from one of the food shows I saw, but burger was small, dry and lacked flavor or seasonings and frys were cold even though there were only a few patrons there. Not worth the $16 plus tip. Didn't try and beer since I don't drink.
