I have been eating their breakfast tacos for years. Best breakfast tacos/tortillas in town. Ordered a dozen tamales for Christmas and was very satisfied. Ample filling, nicely spiced. Spicy enough for heat lovers but not too spicy for the heat timid. Filling to masa ratio was spot on.

Taco To Go serves some of the best tacos around! The quality of their food is amazing — everything tastes fresh and full of flavor. The service is always fast, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. This is my favorite Mexican food in Kerrville! I have loved all of the items that I purchased here. The owners are so friendly and you can tell they take great pride in their restaurant and the excellent food. I recently had the juevos rancheros and they great just like all of the other items. Also love the carne guisada!

Authentic Flavors and a Fantastic Atmosphere! I recently dined at Taco ToGo, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with vibrant décor that set the perfect mood for a great meal. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Mexican plate and the flavors were incredible—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The homemade tortillas made all the difference! The service was also outstanding. Emilia was friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations. Overall, Taco ToGo is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine. I’ll definitely be coming back! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tacos to Go is SO Delicious (How Delicious IS IT??!!!) It's our go to for perfect breakfast tacos. Their service is always so kind and accurate. They're not here to play around. They are here to serve with a smile! My fave is the chorizo&bean on corn w onions&Cilantro. Sheer Perfection!

Maybe coming from out of state, we don’t get the complaints. These are breakfast tacos not burritos. The tortillas are delicious and fresh, the beans and eggs are fresh , hot, and delicious. The staff could not be nicer. The tamales are full of meat, surprising. We saw the line out to the street and jumped in. We are very pleased with this shop. Recommend

Great taste, but tacos had little substance in the tortilla. 12.00 for tortillas and a dab of barbacoa is pretty steep. I know costs have increased, but damn.

Stopped for a breakfast taco after seeing several online mentions. The lady at the half door who took my order was the best part of the visit. The taco was twice the price that I'm used to with much less contents. The tortilla was fresh and the small amount of egg and chorizo was fresh cooked but nothing else. Cheese was never mention nor offered. Sauces provided were OK. The dining area was nothing more than an enclosed porch. Parking is almost none existent and hard to access/exit. For me it was nothing special but expensive.

I ordered a breakfast plate that costed me $7 and it was not worth it. It was supposed to come with potatoes and sausage as well as eggs and refried beans. I hardly got any potatoes. I didn't get sausage either.

I ordered a breakfast plate that costed me $7 and it was not worth it. It was supposed to come with potatoes and sausage as well as eggs and refried beans. I hardly got any potatoes. I didn't get sausage either.

If you want to pay 4 bucks for a skinny carne guisada taco this is the place. We went and ordered 5 bean and cheese 2 carne guisada and 2 chorizo and egg tacos for 30 bucks and they were all super thin due to barely having any stuff in the taco. Would not recommend

I’m sad this place has gone so down hill. I have gone here half of my life. I kept debating whether to go here this morning, because last time wasn’t a good experience but I decided to. I should have listened to my instincts originally but I swear they have the best barbacoa in town. Once again this place was a miss and I won’t be coming back😔 Unfortunately the tacos are even smaller than they have ever been. They’ve always had skinny tacos but they are really REALLY skimping people now. I ordered a barbacoa taco and a bacon egg & cheese taco. Both tortillas were burnt in some spots to where it over powered the flavors of the tacos. It over powered the barbacoa and there was MAYBE A half a piece of bacon in my bacon egg & cheese taco. All I could taste was burnt tortilla, egg and cheese. No bacon flavor. NOT EVEN A CRUNCH FROM THE BACON. 😔 They have an egg surcharge, which hey, that’s fine when egg prices are up. If you gotta raise the prices a little to make ends meet, I get it. But if two tacos that I spent $9.45 on put together are the size of other competitors 1 taco and your prices are higher…. I think it might be time to close the doors or do some hard thinking. Which really makes me sad because this place was always a small town treasure. My mother loved this place before she past away. It’s a no for me. I’ll be going to Mary’s from now on.

And the rice and beans portion was tiny enough for a young child’s serving. There was also no flour tortillas with my plate… and Mexican plates always come with 2 hot, homemade, flour tortillas. So I got very little food and I was really hungry today. The price for what little amount of food I got was absolutely ridiculous!!! I realized once I pulled out of the drive thru and I got home that I had been ripped off. Be sure to check your order before pulling out of the drive thru. They like to make a sucker of you when you see you got shafted once home… and you can’t turn around and go back easily to complain about missing a taco and tortillas. The food is pretty fair from what I’ve tried… but the prices are INSANE for such tiny portions of just regular old Tex Mex. I see some reviews suggesting to try Mary’s so I’m hoping they will be tasty and priced fairly. This place takes advantage of their customers as much as possible and it’s nothing more than just a little hole in the wall.

They have a sign up blaming egg prices for their horrendously priced one-bite tacos, although the sign has been up since Covid-19. I ordered a Bacon & Egg, and Chorizo and Egg. Both had no flavor and barely any egg or meat. I would never recommend this place to anyone who likes actual good food, especially when you can find way better for way cheaper.
