Avis sur Four Marlins - The Reach Key West Key West
Three of us ate dinner here on a weekday in early November. The restaurant was almost empty so we had our choice of tables and sat outside. This was one of our best dining experiences in Key West. This is elegant oceanfront fine dining. Yes it’s expensive, but for us well worth the ambiance and terrific food and attentive service. For appetizers we had shrimp cocktail (one of the best), grilled focaccia bread (very delicious), and lobster tostadas (yummy). The Four Marlins house salad was fresh and very tasty. The Jumbo Prawns and Grilled Swordfish dinners were incredible. For dessert the Key Lime pie and berry cake hit the spot, as did the espressos and butterscotch martini. Our server Ashley was very accommodating and at no extra cost gave us a couple of extra pieces of the focaccia bread. She also made sure water glasses stayed filled, and brought multiple samples of wine for us to try. We had a wonderful evening and would definitely return the next time we vacation in Key West. Our most expensive dinner ($400 excluding tip) but worth it for what we got. Free valet parking is available so no need to Uber here.
Our first time to Four Marlin’s, aswell as our first time in Key West. We spent the past few days exploring the food scene out here, doing research from Google and ChatGPT on the best places to go. But ironically, the suggestion to dine at Four Marlin’s actually came from a nice man “Ricky” in Concierge rather than any of that. Ricky told us to try the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, which he claimed to be the best on the island. My fiancée and I were a bit skeptical — not gonna lie, but his passion in speaking about the sandwich inspired us to try it. We went to the restaurant at around 8:30pm and noticed it was not on the menu, we kindly asked our server if we could order it and after speaking with the Chef she said it was ok. Well, this thing is BIG! It’s stacked and it’s beautiful. The Brioche bun has a beautiful cut or design on the top, and then you get this delicious hand-breaded buttermilk chicken that could make a grown man cry tears of joy at the sight of it. The first bite sent me almost off my chair. It was solid. It was tasty. It was the best. It wasn’t touristy food, this could easily be the best chicken sandwich in Key West. Myself being from New Jersey and quite the foodie, this sandwich could easily hang with the best in our state. My suggestion to management is to add this sandwich to the menu ASAP. Maybe include a ChickFilA style one? You have something here with this. I also want to mention on its own the French fries which are hand-cut, great job doing this guys. We had an amazing dinner at Dorada’s 2 nights in a row but the last night at Dorada’s I was disappointed with the frozen shoe string fries that I got with my $26 burger.. I felt for the level of Dorada’s and Four Marlins it should absolutely be hand-cut, fresh French fries and Four Marlins delivered! I noticed Truffle fries as an option and want to recommend rather than Truffle Fries, instead doing a seasoned fry option using “Old Bay”, it’s a crab seasoning. My final recommendation is to add atleast 2 more appetizers to your menu non-fish related. We would have ordered an appetizer but wasn’t a fan of what was offered, also $28 starting point on an appetizer is a buzz kill. If you can hit the sweet spot of $17 it will improve and more people are likely to try. Overall I highly recommend Four Marlins for this crispy chicken sandwich, which I believe to be the best crispy chicken sandwich in Key West. Great job Chef and thank you to the two Ricky’s!
The reviews were mixed, the prices are about 10% higher than going elsewhere near by. The service was excellent, Kay sat us on the outside patio and Jose was our waiter. Both were friendly and attentive. Jose introduced himself, took our order, checked in with us often and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our dining experience. The fresh juices and coffee were flavorful, the breakfast plates were well prepared and you could taste the good quality ingredients as well as the care taken in preparation. When considering being able to walk from the room straight down to brunch and not have a wait or a walk to an eatery, the slightly higher cost is more than worth the value of eating here as a guest of the hotel. Huge thanks to Jose, it was great chatting with you and we wish you all the best!
What a catch! My party of four had a delicious lunch of fish tacos and fish sandwiches. Flavors were spot on. The pineapple jalapeño margarita was exceptionally well mixed, and had the perfect spicy kick. We had an incredible view of the beach and ocean. The traffic was steady, but relaxed.
Breakfast was amazing looking out over the waves!!! The service was just right, the food was good breakfast food. The view was amazing, the atmosphere was super chill and quiet. Just a great place to stop for a quiet breakfast.
Spectacular views with inside tables with large windows featuring separate bar option to ask for outside table or six course meal tide to table on the only natural sand beach in Key West
Saw they had a half off happy hour here. So my gorgeous girl friend and I dropped by for early dinner. It runs 4 to 530. Half off a limited number of items and drinks. We got a mish mash of different items. But the truffle fries, smoked swordfish, and croquettes were among my faves. The view from dining outside was very sublime. The staff were courteous and took good care of us. I’d recommend coming and trying them out.
Easily top ten meals in my whole life. Start to finish appetizer, entree and dessert was phenomenal. I will be dreaming of that pork chop for weeks. Ocean view was breathtaking. Service was wonderful, very attentive without being annoying. Will definitely be back!
How can dining by the Oceanside get any better? Well, you can have delicious food and great service from this place. When you go for brunch be sure to try the lobster quesadilla and the smoked salmon tater tots. It may sound weird, but it is not. It’s the best thing you’ve tasted. I promise. The view is spectacular. Thank you so much Tim for your excellent and attentive service.
Stunning. Beautiful. Welcoming. The food was amazing and we were served by Jessica on 2/7/25 who was incredibly attentive and had great recommendations that aligned with my allergies. Can’t recommend this place enough. Best food we’ve had in Key West.
Cheesecake Heaven!!! We went for the Cheesecake and it did not disappoint. The generous portion, presentation, taste and texture were all on point. The graham crust was one of the best I’ve had. The cheesecake itself was the perfect blend of density and creaminess. The staff were very friendly even though we were only there for the Cheesecake they treated us very well. Highly recommend if you like more cheesecake than whip cream merengue.
If you want a combination of good food with a perfect view, this could be your breakfast spot. It's not cheap but I would recommend it. The steak and eggs made an excellent start to my day. Also their key lime pie is really excellent. Many people believe it is the best one on the island. It's definitely worth trying.
My wife and I booked a reservation at Four Marlins after seeing and hearing countless recommendations from friends, family, and folks online about this being THE. PLACE. in Key West for great food, great atmosphere, and most importantly, the great key lime pie! Fortunately, these recommendations could not have prepared us for the outstanding experience we had! From our host, Felip, being incredibly welcoming and personable, to our incredible and attentive waitress, Ashley, who made sure that we had the best time, including recommending awesome dishes and even taking an amazing picture for us (it was our anniversary). Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. The smoked swordfish dip and conch & corn fritters (appetizers), chipotle-miso grouper (not pictured because it was THAT GOOD), and the infamous key lime pie - all excellent! 11 out of 10 stars! Thanks for making our first trip to Key West and our anniversary something truly special.
We stopped by the Four Marlins for lunch after our flight out of Key West was delayed. The Four Marlins was located in a neighboring resort to ours, and we had heard they served the best key lime pie on the island. We dropped by on a Tuesday afternoon right around lunch time, so there was no wait at all. We were seated at a table out on the patio with the most serene view of the resort's beach. A very friendly server tended to us. My husband ordered the yellow-tailed snapper sandwich, which was HUGE. The batter was a bit on the heavy side, but nonetheless very good. I ordered the lobster mac & cheese, and my oh my!!! It definitely had the four cheese blend going on, with perfectly toasted breadcrumbs throughout. The shell pasta soaked up the rich cheese sauce nicely. The most important part.... GIANT lobster chunks hid throughout each bite as they were very generous. Barely being able to have another bite, we did order a slice of key lime pie. It included a yummy strawberry glaze, which I thought was a nice and different touch. Overall, we enjoyed our time very much here. All the staff here, including the food runners were extremely nice, and we experienced the BEST service!
The food was incredible. My kiddo enjoyed the kids burger and fries. We got the sourdough with tomato butter as well as the whipped ricotta and tomato stack. Both were good, though the tomato stack could have used some salt and something a little crunchy for texture. For our mains, we got the mahi mahi and the NY Strip. Both were cooked to perfection. Only alterations we would make would be to make the potatoes on the steak more crispy and the season the squash on the fish plate. We ended the night with the key lime pie, and it was the best we have had in the Keyes. We also got 2 mock-tails, a no-jito as well as a 42 something! I didn’t love the 42, but hubby was a fan. The no-jito was well made, but not exciting.
The food and views were impressive, but the amazing service is what led to this review. Both the host and our server Mike were accommodating and genuinely friendly. Morning breakfast on the porch was the perfect start to the day.
My husband and I very much enjoyed our expedited here. After two days of walking, we just needed to stay close to our hotel. Our Lyft driver told us she had been hearing good things about Four Marlins. Coming from Chicago, we are a little food spoiled, but decided to give it a shot because it was close to our stay at Casa Marina. Everything about it was exceptional. We enjoyed fish & chips, miso grouper, swordfish dip, our drinks and dessert all while watching the sunset. The staff was kind and attentive. Highly recommend!
Four Marlins is located inside "The Reach" hotel by Hilton on the Atlantic side of Key West close to the southernmost point that you can travel in the United States. You can experience indoor or outdoor dining, either choice is very pleasant with views of the ocean and or a beach. Our lunch order was the Four Marlins Burger and crab cakes, each came with their side salad, then Key lime pie which is a must since Key West is where the Key lime pie originated. Everything was prepared exactly to our liking. You can freely roam the grounds and explore the area.
We are local to Key West, but had our first dining experience at Four Marlins last night - my husband and I celebrated our anniversary there, which was very special because we were married at the Casa Marina (sister property). The entire experience and meal was amazing! Our server, Daniel, was very professional, took time to explain the menu and specials and gave great recommendations . He also let us take our time, we never get rushed. We will definitely dine here again - it was lovey for a special occasion and the ambience was perfect!
The dinner was fantastic! The dishes were beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming!
Breakfast was great! Nestled inside a hotel, Our server Tim was one the best! This eatery had a small but truly excellent food. Bloody-Marys and cappuccino martinis were awesome.
If you haven't been you must go! The food was excellent!! I suggested trying the key lime pie for dessert. The service was excellent. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive. I would recommend sitting outside. The! view is amazing
A great restaurant right by the water with beautiful views. Had a wonderful time and the food was fantastic. Hands down the best Key Lime Pie in all of Key West, a must have if travelling to the Keys. Overall a pleasant experience!
I wanted to share my recent dining experiences at Four Marlins Oceanfront Dining in Key West. It was a tale of two extremes, and I can't wait to tell you all about it. Let's start with the positive. On my girlfriend's birthday, we decided to celebrate at Four Marlins, and it turned out to be an absolutely amazing evening. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect - the staff, the service, the food, and the view of the sunset. Ashley, the hostess, greeted us with a warm smile and ensured that we had a table with a breathtaking ocean view. It set the tone for a memorable night. Our server, Paul, went above and beyond to make our evening special. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire meal. Now, onto the food. I ordered the citrus grouper, and it was a taste sensation. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and each bite was a delight. My girlfriend opted for the lobster pasta, which she absolutely loved. The lobster was tender and flavorful, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. As the evening progressed, we were treated to an incredible sunset. The view from Four Marlins was simply breathtaking, adding an extra touch of magic to our experience. And of course, we couldn't leave without trying their famous key lime pie, which lived up to its reputation as the best in Key West. We were so impressed by our dinner experience that we couldn't resist going back the next morning for brunch. And let me tell you, Four Marlins doesn't disappoint when it comes to brunch either. The menu offered a wide variety of delicious options, from savory to sweet. During brunch, we were once again greeted with the same warm hospitality. The staff remembered us from the previous night, making us feel like valued guests. The food was equally exceptional. I tried their signature eggs benedict, which was divine, and my girlfriend enjoyed fluffy Belgian waffles with fresh berries and whipped cream. The brunch cocktails, including mimosas and Bloody Marys, were the perfect complement to our meal. The service remained impeccable, and Four Marlins continued to deliver an outstanding dining experience. Overall, Four Marlins Oceanfront Dining was a tale of two experiences. Our dinner celebration was absolutely amazing, with impeccable staff, service, food, and a stunning sunset. And the following morning, their brunch impressed us just as much, with a delectable menu and the same level of hospitality. I highly recommend visiting Four Marlins for both dinner and brunch. It's an experience you won't forget, and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as we did.
A great breakfast at Four Marlins. Excellent service by Tim. Latte was really good. Loved the Avacado toast and we also had the regular bacon and eggs which was great as well. Nice view and good start to the day.
Upscale beachside restaurant in The Reach Hotel. Beautiful, delicious and romantic. We ate on the terrace overlooking the ocean with a not-quite-sunset view. It is expensive, but worth it. Perfect for a special occasion.
We had a great time here! It started off with Foster being so amazing and helpful when we checked in. The bartenders, Beverly and Ty, were so friendly and let us know about things to do here. Stephanie ,the waitress, was awesome at the pool bar. Lisa was also awesome at the restaurant, she remembered my tea to go! 😃
Kasea was a fabulous bartender. We had drinks and a very delicious slice of Key Lime Pie. She was so personable and steered my daughter to a frozen Key Lime Pie Colada that was out of this world. Highly recommend sitting at the bar at Four Marlins at the Hilton Curio The Reach in Key West. Especially when Kasea is working.
The first few days we were there were fantastic, we had a bartender that was very nice, attentive, and friendly. On Thursday night, my parents were there for happy hour and said the male bartender seemed to be mad, so mad that he ended up breaking a bottle because he was slamming bottles while making drinks. There was a commotion about things not being stocked. On Friday for happy hour, the red headed female bartender was there and also seemed to be mad. She greeted us with “what do you need” after telling the musician “you’re just going to have to wait if you want food” Once I told her I wanted some conch fritters she said “are you sitting in here or going by the pool”. The entire interaction seemed as though we were annoying her, we even wondered if we did something to make her mad. We awkwardly sat down on the couch, she put my dads beer on the counter without saying anything to him so it sat there for a while before we even realized it was his beer. We then just sat at the bar because we wanted to order more food and drinks, she never ended up asking me if I wanted a drink. Once we ate we over heard her talking about how everything was under stocked. Being in customer service myself, the service we received on Friday during happy hour was deplorable, especially for a luxury Hilton hotel. Regardless of her needing to stock ice or cups, being mean and hostile to your patrons is unacceptable. She then gave us a receipt that was over what it should have been and not itemized.
I am not sure what’s better the amazing food, the attentive service or the spectacular ocean view. This place checked all the boxes for a relaxed atmosphere, refined menu, servers who make you feel right at home, and the soothing sounds of the ocean to tie it all together. Pro tip: order the key lime pie 😍
Dinner was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely waterside. The service was professional and very attentive. I want to thank Eve for all her assistance in helping us secure this reservation and the best seating for our evening. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back!!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the 4 Marlins Restaurant Bar, and a huge part of that was thanks to Ty. From the moment we sat down, Ty made us feel genuinely welcomed — not just like customers, but like guests he was truly happy to take care of. Ty was incredibly friendly and personable, with a great energy that instantly set the tone for the evening. What really stood out, though, was how knowledgeable he was — not only about the drink and food menu, but about Key West itself. When we asked for recommendations, he didn’t just point at popular items; he took the time to explain the flavors, portions, and what people tend to love most. Every suggestion he made was spot-on, and the food turned out to be excellent because of his guidance. Beyond the menu, Ty turned our visit into a mini Key West experience. He shared fascinating stories about the island’s history, pointed out important historical sites to visit, and explained so much about the local ecology — from the marine life to how the islands formed and evolved over time. He even gave us insight into the culture and society of Key West, which made us appreciate the place on a much deeper level. It felt like having a bartender and a local tour guide all in one. You can tell Ty genuinely loves what he does and cares about making sure guests have an amazing time. He was attentive without hovering, engaging without being overbearing, and incredibly professional while still being warm and approachable. If you’re visiting 4 Marlins, do yourself a favor and sit at the bar with Ty if you can. Great drinks, great food recommendations, and an unforgettable experience thanks to someone who truly represents the best of Key West hospitality. We’ll absolutely be back — and we’ll be looking for Ty!
We visited Four Marlins on a beautiful evening during sunset with their amazing atmosphere and ambiance. We gladly sat at the bar and was enchanted enough to meet Ty, our bartender. With the upmost professionalism he took our drink order our dinner order and happily had conversation and many laughs with us. Not only was everything delicious but the service we received from Ty is the most reason we’d be returning. Such a delightful evening. Thank you Ty!
I've been to Key West numerous times and have somehow missed this gem. Stumbled on it by accident and what a surprise!. Went in and had a fantastic bite to eat at the bar and was so entertained by a wonderful bartender, Ty. He was so informative about what we should order both to eat and drink. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and can't wait to return.
Amazing location Right on the beach 🏝️ Food was ok, my order needed to be redone, so a bit of waiting My husband asked for ketchup but never got it! Otherwise pretty good!
We ate here a few times throughout our stay at the Reach. For the most part the food is really good (what we tried), except for the seafood salad. The shrimp was chewing/tough and the romaine was super hard and stringy. It was probably the worst romaine lettuce of my life, otherwise the salad would have been fine (but not $36 fine). The lobster quesadilla was really 3 lobster tacos, but they were amazing. The mushroom ravioli was delicious. My husband enjoyed his steak and my kids loved their French Toast during brunch. The churros are definitely worth splurging some calories on. Our waitress Thursday night was very kind and kept us informed as they were running very behind and we had to wait an hour for food. Honestly her being so awesome really saved the meal. Being attentive even when the news is bad goes a long way! The hostess Thursday at lunch was not so awesome and if were weren't guests of the resort, we probably wouldn't have been back Thursday evening to even give it a try. The view is beautiful. Overall 4 stars, but the food was good!
Drinks were really good, although definitely tourist prices. The Smoked Rum Old Fashion is a need to try! The Spicy Pineapple Margarita was equally great. In the 3 days we spent here, we tried each of the specialty drinks and they were all phenomenal. Tried the appetizers, the wings were fantastic as was the house salad with palm hearts!
Beautiful view and atmosphere. Keylime pie is the best and most balanced on the island. Lobster Mac was delicious, the beshamel was beautiful and velvety, but it had little to no lobster meat. When compared to the whole tempura'd lobster tail at Boat House for $6 on happy hour, it seems overpriced for mac and cheese. Ceaser is really good and well dressed. Conch fritters were beautifully plated, but in my opinion, just good, not amazing. Service was ok, but my server was very rude and snooty. He had a weird tone that wasn't at all inviting or pleasant. Especially for that calibur of dinning. He literally made faces of displeasure when we made any requests, which made us a bit uncomfortable. Food took very, very long even though the restaurant was empty. Honest opinion... go for the view and have a slice of keylime pie and maybe a drink. You can get a better value and service for much less.
We enjoyed the Four Marlins dinner on Christmas. The ambiance, the music, and the service were top-notch. The food was good as well. My son got the swordfish and said it was very good. My wife and daughter got the lobster mac and cheese and liked it, but it was so rich that neither was able to eat much. For my part, I got a salad. The salad was fine, but I'd prefer there be a vegetarian option that was warm, such as a pasta.
Went for a birthday celebration and picked this for the view and what we were hoping for - a wonderful experience. Pricey menu and drinks. One cocktail came in a chipped glass and we had to track down the waitress to bring appetizer plates and replacement drink. Sourdough bread with tomato confit was excellent and the grouper was spectacular. But the service was sub-par. Our server disappeared for most of the meal- we needed refills and an extra fork - and again we had to go find someone - i cannot say enough wonderful things about the food and the ambiance. Hoping the service will be better next time we come. And I truly hope this was a one off.
The only reason to eat here is for the views. The food is average so not bad but nothing special. The conch fritters were well below average so I wouldn’t come here for that. Their key lime pie was excellent so this is a good spot to have a drink and dessert. The part that ruins is that the service sucks. They add automatic gratuity so they even try to provide any service at all. I only seem my waitress twice, to take my order and then to bring me the bill. Never came around to check on the food or to refill the water.
My spouse and I were staying at the hotel "The Reach (a Hilton property)" where this restaurant is located. It was our first night and the hotel included a $36 a day credit when dining at the restaurant (sounds generous but doesn't go that far considering the prices on the menu). The atmosphere is nice, oceanfront and pool views. I ordered a caesar salad, and my husband had grilled fish in a coconut curry sauce. Overall the food was decent, but definitely hotel prices. My salad was drenched in parmesan shavings, which I didn't necessarily mind, but it was a bit unconventional. My biggest critique was the service, the waiter was a bit inattentive and seemed confused most of the time about what we were saying. English is not my husband's first language so I found his responses to my husband's accent a bit rude. I would probably have given the restaurant a "very good" rating if the service has been better. To summarize, it's a fine place to grab a bite to eat if you're staying in the hotel, if you're not staying in the hotel probably not worth the trek over just to eat here.
Well, they earned 2 stars. The rooms themselves were 5 star. Some of the nicest rooms on the island. However, I paid for an ocean view that cost me $1,500 more for our stay than the kids room. However, all I could see is palm trees outside my room. The kids room had such a better view and was $1,500 less. Don’t do the upgraded room view. Totally not worth it. The staff seems to make the difference. The drinks are good as long as the right bartender is making them. The food is good as long as the right chef is working and the service is good as long as the right server is serving. We have been staying at The Reach and this bar and resturant is their in house. It has been inconsistent since we arrived with points where service was bad or great depending on who is working and the food has been just as inconsistent. The menu is clearly designed by someone who knows food, but the execution lacks that personal touch from a local place. I still recommend them, but be aware that one day may be different than the next. Overall we are disappointed in the stay and don’t plan to come back to The Reach.
Service was slow and food was subpar. The swordfish was overly fishy and very bland. My wife ordered the lobster Mac and was also underwhelmed. We enjoyed the location/views but felt it didn’t justify the high end prices. Joe’s Crab Shack(lower rated location) quality for Ruth’s Chris’ prices
I want to give this place a rave review because the food was exceptional but the staff dampened our entire experience. My family and I made a reservation to celebrate a special event and spent almost $300 on dinner and drinks. The staff could not have been more rude and dismissive the whole night. For example, we had to beg for water and plates to share a plate we specified would be a shared meal. Any request was made to feel like a burden. The four of us in the party sat on the porch and it started to rain and lightning. The attendants were more concerned with gathering the placemats on empty tables than helping our small dinner party to safety and shelter. Would absolutely not recommend.
Wow this is crazy to expensive no service frandly it all. I stayed at Hilton so we diceded to have breakfast that cost $130 for 4 people. I don't know any restaurants that charges $130 for eggs. This on the picture was the breakfast. Take good look!!! I travel a lot never seeing anything like this.
So very disappointed with this restaurant. The view was nice but chilly outside with no outdoor heaters. Our waitress was uninterested in helping us and was rude. We ordered the 63.00 scallops and it was 4 very small scallops. It was actually the worst meal I have ever had. Don’t waste your time or money there.
TERRIBLE FOR BIG GATHERINGS! We had our wedding Farewell Brunch there this past week and it was embarrassing how they treated us. Two tall/big tables and a shorter table for (6)to the side away from the rest of the party. We had to get up to go speak to them when everyone else was sat together. ONE server for 27 of us. She was absolutely rude! Yelled at two of our guests to “sit back down!” as they got up to go to the bathroom. Our contract stated they could split checks for our party- we get there and they could only split it by 4 ways then wanted our credit cards numbers since their system crash. They even stated the internet was down for the “entire island”. It was not! We wait over an hour to get our appetizers (oatmeal/fruit/chai seed yogurt). We were given a limited menu so that food could come out quicker. Spent over two hours there waiting for everything!! Everyone left before dessert(which was included in the $60 flat fee for Brunch) could come out because it had taken so long!! We had 5 guests who had to leave mid brunch because food wasn’t out yet and they were going to miss heir flights. The server would not return a guest’s credit card because their computer went down and couldn’t run the card. Our guests basically had to beg her to please give her back her card so she could make her flight! We DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! Terrible service.
From the food to the service, this place is so lackluster and bland, big time avoid. We dined here for weekend brunch, which was overpriced and seriously without taste. I had a seafood cobb salad with blue cheese, though there was not a speck of blue cheese on or in it. How does someone take the taste out of lobster?? My boyfriend had steak and eggs, the steak was not cooked anywhere near how he ordered it and had zero seasoning. We barely saw our server, the amount of time we spent waiting to order, to get our check, to give the CC was just absurd, and no they were not busy. We both worked in service jobs, so I'm not just saying that, there really was no excuse. On top of all of that, the prices are ridiculous, even for Key West. Audacious to charge $42 to lousy steak and eggs. From what we can tell, you're paying for the view, good luck with the rest. Save you r time and money, there are so many better options than this place. Ironic side note - When we arrived there was a couple at the front complaining to the manager about the poor service and way they were treated. I didn't mean to overhear but it went on for minutes as we waited behind them. We waited bc despite other staff passing by and the manager clearly seeing us waiting, no one acknowledged us at all. In fact the manager dismissed the people with the complaint with a curt sorry and suggestion they leave a yelp review. Too bad we ignored the foreshadowing, lol!
Terrible experience. Do not waste the money on the table by the beach. Very low budget for the amount spent. I called to arrange and told the hostess that one of us did not eat seafood. We show up to a menu that is 90% seafood. Service was not that great either. I expected much more from a $200/pp meal.
