Edit: Fairly regular customer to this location and I have to take a star away. If I was writing a review for the first time, it would now be a 3. Not sure what’s changed the last few months but one time I received a burger that was less than 100° in the patty, not even close to minimum serving temp, even for rare which is not what I ordered, and the fries were old and stale. I pick up my food and usually arrive before it’s even done so it wasn’t just waiting for me to pick it up. Last time, the kids meal burger the patty was half the size of the bun, I have never received it so small before. Think size of a silver dollar. As well, you appear to have changed your chicken tenders. They now have no flavor, if they do have any flavor it’s old grease. Got them again today and they are just gross. They appear to be hand breaded now and no seasoning. The chicken itself underneath the breading isn’t even good on its own, my dog turned her nose up at it. They don’t even look visually appealing or even smell good. Please go back to the old strips, unfortunately after two times of receiving gross ones, my boyfriend isn’t going to want to eat here again so you’ve unfortunately lost a loyal customer due to 3 not great experiences in a row, weeks apart. Original: I need to know how you make your beef fajita, start to finish lol it’s so good. Highly recommend, excellent food and quality.

I eat here More than I care to admit. Every time it does exactly what I needed to do: a good lunch for cheap. They have a good selection of beer and a wide variety of food I haven't found anything yet I haven't liked. Good for families. Theres a gated patio with only one exit that's good for corralling the little ones.

Cool location, great interior. Food was delicious and they have an accessible drink fountain for sodas and water cups next to it. Enjoyed the rapid ordering and low wait time in line. Great amount of screens to watch all your favorite games week or weekend. Will be back again! Also has an exterior patio if seating outside is your thing didn't use it myself so no comments on it!

It's been a covid while since we've eaten here. There's been a lot of updates. Very clean, very sharp. Outdoor dining available, too. Fries were fantastic. Bacon cheeseburger was crisp, fresh and tasty. Should have taken a pic of the brisket tacos. Fast service and plenty of room.

The staff at Skeeter's is very helpful and offer friendly service. The food taste great and the sweet tea is just sweet enough. I love that my toddler can be entertained with drawling on the table and walls. However I do not like how half the machines in the game area eat the quarters or dont have all its pieces working such as the big gumball/bouncy ball machine.

It has been several years since I’ve been to Skeeter‘s Mesquite Grill in Kingwood Texas. A lot has changed since this was pre-pandemic. One thing that hasn’t changed is the wonderful smell of grilled meat as you approach the front door. They smoke and grill all of their food. The menu is much the same: fajitas, burgers, fries, onion rings and such. They also have maintained two fully functioning margarita machines. However it seems like they’ve gone through a facelift. It seemed like they have grown up. At one time, this place was kid team central. I’m was a favorite hang out for elementary age kids to celebrate after a game - complete with crayon drawings on the walls and various little gaming machines . It was friendly but dark and somewhat had a McDonald’s type feeling. Now the crayon scribblings are gone from the wall. Also I didn’t see the gaming machines. Most importantly, the ceiling, the walls and everything seem to be considerably brighter. Reasonably priced and the television sets are still strategically placed around the open concept building. I highly recommend this place for families, kids, or even adults on a date.

Sorry to do this but it’s gotten out of control. The Door Dash orders we get are always wrong. And I mean, ALWAYS. I ask for a burger to have bbq, it comes without. I add avocado to a chicken sandwich, you don’t add it and I get charged. I ask for onions to be added to quesadillas, it comes in a container on the side and not cooked into it. You get bbq wings but the wings aren’t tossed in the bbq?!! Plus, they’re mushy, which tells me your oil isn’t hot enough. Bacon is missing, food is cold, fries are mushy, like what are y’all trying to do to your business??? Get it together. This was my previous review from two years ago: If you haven’t been to Skeeters in a while like myself, I suggest making a return visit! Not only has the environment improved but so has the customer service. Everyone was so friendly and even checked on us at our table. As far as the interior, I loved not having to look so high up at the tiny menu! That alone is worthy of 5 stars! And the updated decor, paint, furniture, and elimination of the game room (turned private room?) was great. We had the Sunday breakfast buffet and everything was hot and fresh. Make a stop!

Definitely not what it use to be. We haven’t been to this location in a few years. The interior looks nice but the food was off. I placed a to go order for my family. All of the tacos (2x fish, 1x shrimp and 1x chicken) we ordered were really bland…basically no seasoning at all. My burger was ok but the onion rings were under cooked. The last 2 meals ordered were the chicken strips…no complaints from the kids. On a positive note, the Tres Leches was just as good as before! Hopefully it was just an off day.

Got the burgers home and they were raw in the middle. They packed the fries in plastic containers and by the time we got home (less than 10 minutes), they were a sad and soggy mess.

Unfortunately something has very obviously changed in the past few months. We used to go often enough and the food was consistently good, clearly freshly made and hot. It was a great go to after a day of running errands. The last few times especially today was just not good at all and my husband and I decided we won't be wasting our money here anymore. The chicken sandwiches were clearly pre-made or somehow just not fresh, they were dry and seemed reheated. we both have upset stomachs. Honestly, save your money!

I came 3 days ago and there was this lady as a cashier she never said hi or even smiled. She seemed mad. Everything was so slow the food took like 40 minutes to get done. Not coming back!

I visit this location regularly, (I rush here after work) at least three times a week, and over the past two months I’ve noticed a decline in quality. The rice has often been undercooked, and at times the vegetables taste spoiled. I’ve also tried calling ahead to place an order, but no one answers the phone. On several occasions, I’ve driven to the restaurant only to find it closed 30 minutes earlier than the posted hours on your website. I truly enjoy this restaurant and even drive 20 minutes out of my way to eat here, which makes it especially disappointing to see the quality and consistency decline. I hope these concerns can be addressed, as I would love to continue being a loyal customer.

They used to have the best chicken tenders ever they were super crunchy. Now they're just crappy generic flat fast food tenders. I've been eating at Skeeters for 15+ years I won't be returning.

Went today 2/6 for lunch. Very disappointed - not the old Skeeters... The woman behind register was not friendly or helpful at all. Seemed to not want to be there. The food has definitely gone downhill. You can tell by photo that chicken sandwich was soggy and falling apart. The chicken itself tasteless. I went to put tabasco sauce on it, but the sauce jars were filthy around rim from not being clean. The onion rings were prefab and tasteless. The general area is cleaner than it used to be. However, with not a smile to be seen, much much higher prices and poor quality food, we won't be back again...
