The 19th hole is a hidden gem in La Cala. The front terrace overlooks the main strip, is covered and great to relax with friends and family with a cool breeze. Inside there are generally sports on several TVs, playing whatever games are on at the time. The beer lines are very well maintained and that shows up in the quality of their draughts. The Guinness here is the best in the city by far. Proper, creamy black gold with a thick head. Andreas and his team really care for the bar and its patrons and it shows in their service, drinks and clients. Dog friendly too!

Andreas and his staff are 5 star. The bar is spotless and constantly being cleaned. The service was amazing everytime we went (which was a lot). Lovely selection of food that was served hot and quickly even the chip butties which weren't on the menu but were definitely needed to help with the hang over. Will be back to mijas as soon as I can and the 19th hole will be my 1st stop 😎

Been here several times. We now class it as our local. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices are good and the atmosphere is great. Would recommend every time.

For me the best bar in la cala. Nothing fancy but not trying to be like the rest. Gaz and andreas are great and food is cheap and good. Plenty of tv's for football, golf etc. Nice atmosphere and no nobheads lol

I go to the 19th Hole to watch football, and I've been coming here for three years or so. I watched the World Cup here and I'm looking forward to watching the Euros. You might say that it's nothing special, but it's very friendly. When I first came to La Cala I tried other pubs, but found them a bit 'cliquey' and 'stand offish'. The 19th Hole was different. It has a welcoming atmosphere and I have always been able to talk to other supporters (no matter who they support) while watching a match. It is my 'go to' pub for watching football.

The location is excellent, parking could not be better, very, very friendly service, and a good atmosphere provided by the locals. More English haunt than a Spanish tapas bar. Sadly the Mahou (pint of beer) was dreadful. Meaning the pumps and pipes aren't sufficiently cleaned or the barrel is old and off. I questioned that it was actually Mahou which is the best beer in Spain. May I suggest the owner, (or any pub owner) goes to either the El Higeron in Benalmadena or the new restraunt called Grace over the Riviera sports club, then sample what great beer should taste like. Follow my advice, and not only will I remove these last paragraphs, but your bar will be full of satisfied customers, who will return time and time again. Otherwise I won't, and neither will anyone else, It was that bad

Watch out for the hidden extras in your bill.. Meal could have been served hotter. But friendly staff.

VERY LET DOWN A decent place for a stop off coffee or pint during the day - 3 Euros for a pint. We only wanted drinks, as we planned to eat later. However, we had our friends 2 year old daughter who had just woken up from a nap, very hungry. We asked for a kids ham sandwich, which we expected to be basic (It arrived similar to the one pictured). 2 pieces of standard white bread & a slice of thin ham. However, when the bill arrived we had been charged 6 euros, which was the price of the full adult sandwich. We wouldn’t have minded if that’s what we’d been given, with fries, nice bread & salad! We left extremely annoyed that we’d been charged so much, for what was such a small, measly, sandwich. In contrast, we ordered similar in better restaurants & were charged no more than 2 euros. It’s not acceptable to be charged so much for a kids snack. Please don’t do it again to others.

having lived in spain for 25 years the first time i had to pay €6.70 for a gin and tonic and small measure as i said to the bar man rip off i am not impressed the la cala enymore so sad to seeva nice place devoured by greedy councel people and construcors
