Calm, comfortable and laid back thai place. Food is pretty good. We had the potato dumplings, fake meat green curry, tom yum soup obviously and ginger tea. The ginger tea tasted mild and smelled amazingly of chamomile. Servers were calm and polite. We saw a lot of families and older people. Good place to eat in a peaceful environment.

Crispy pork basil here is the best in San Diego!!! So flavorful n fragrant. First time trying Thai Donuts n fell in love at first bite, such a light snack/ dessert, once you take a bite you can never stop!!!

This is hands down the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to, especially in the San Diego area. I absolutely love their Pineapple Fried Rice – it’s incredibly fragrant, flavorful, and has a slight tingly spice that’s just perfect. The service is also great. Highly recommend!

Food was amazing. Wife said it was by far the best tofu she’s had at a Thai place. Pork was cooked very well, not dry. Everything was fresh. Not very spicy, wish there was a bit more kick. Staff was very welcoming. Vibes immaculate. 20 second walk to the comedy store!

Went here and got the lunch special, which was cheaper than the normal dishes and also provides an appetizer of spring rolls. Service was excellent and the food was on our tables in a few minutes. The atmosphere was very warm and friendly. As for the food. It was good as always, providing huge portions of flavorful food, especially the pineapple fried rice and the drunken noodles.

Some of the best Thai food we’ve had. The Pas Prik Khing was perfectly done. Balanced flavors and loads of spices cooked to perfection. The cashew stir fry was fantastic with the cashews perfectly cooked. Definitely coming back.

I've been craving authentic Thai food, and Aroi absolutely delivered! The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced--sweet, tangy, and just the right amount of crunch from the peanuts. We also tried the Yellow Curry (level 3 spice) and it was creamy, fragrant, and full of tender chicken and veggies. The Mango Sticky Rice for dessert was the perfect sweet ending. Service was friendly and quick, and the restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.

Authentic Thai food. Brought here by my kids. The Crispy Pork w basil is our fav. The pad see ewe and yellow curry are superb. Highly recommend this place when you are in town in SD.

Been here twice and everything I’ve tried has been flavorful and well cooked. My daughter and I are big fans of the pad thai. My wife has gotten the drunken noodles with pork each time and will get it every visit going forward. We tried the tom yum soup last time and I would definitely get it again. My favorite Thai in La Jolla.

This is a nice and calm place that serves Thai food. The staff are super cool and nice, food was also tasty and okay although a bit greasy. Since this was my first time experiencing Thai cuisine, I am not sure if the amount of oil was routine or not.

Good size servings minimal amount of meat at least in my drunken noodles with scallops. Level five spice is hot. I wouldn’t recommend that to everyone else although I was able to tolerate it. Nice place to visit if you’re in the area it’s right next to the comedy store and opposite Vons pavilions
