Ordered my food online. First off, the manager called to inform they were down 2 drivers for the evening and requested grace of 15 min to make the delivery. Good way inform me as the customer. The food arrived, as promised and one of the pizzas inadvertently got delivered at the previous delivery. The manager and driver quickly communicated and made the delivery right with a few additions for the inconvenience. Outstanding customer service, and excellent communication. I would highly recommend.
Truly the best Domino’s! The food is consistently perfect & customer service is top notch. I have only ever had an issue on one occasion when a new hire messed up a part of my order. Not only did the manager apologize and bring me an entirely new order, but she assured me that she made it personally and even delivered it herself. 10/10 service & 10/10 food :)
Ordered delivery and it was fast and the pizzas were steamy and fresh! I love dominos and this location is my go to
Very helpful staff. When I needed my order ready earlier so I could catch the last bus of the night they were very nice and accommodating.
The food was amazing it was kind of hidden but I found it
Ever since Loan has started making pizza's and working at the La Jolla location, the quality and speed of both the pizza and service has gone up significantly. Whether I order delivery, or do a carry out order, she always seems to be making my pizza, and they're always amazing! I've walked in to pick up orders and she's making over 100 pizza's for 1 guest plus all the other pizza orders, and still manages to make my pizza in a timely manner and delivery it with a smile! Great work Loan, and those co-workers around you making my pizza experience great!! Keep up the good wok, and someone give them a medal.
I go to this location often and am always pleased with the ease of ordering pizza, service, and overall quality. Last night confirmed why I continue to come back. They were very busy at 11pm on a Saturday. We got our pizza to go but I locked my keys in the car. We had to sit at the dominos for over an hour while waiting for the locksmith. Noticing this, Luis came over to our table and offered to make us fresh pizza to help make a frustrating night a little better. They went above and beyond despite being very busy.
A textbook example of fast food that serves pizza quickly Food: It's decent. Service: It's fast. Ambiance: The place is clean.

We ordred 14 inch New York style pizza with pepperoni, chicken, and Philly steak. We received the pizza on time, and it tasted better than all the other Domino pizzas I had ordered in other states. The tomato paste tasted a bit sweeter than usual and its chicken chunks were huge!
I love dominos and will order again. The store is clean and the food came fresh and steamy.
It's good. Take out, not delivery, which is probably the biggest difference in experience. Sauce is good
I’ve never been super into pizza, but I decided to order here after my girlfriend and her friends ordered and kept raving about how good it was, especially for a chain. I was very impressed. The pizza is delicious, far better than Pizza Hut or papa John’s or even the local, non-chain pizza restaurants nearby. Delivery was cheap, quick, and the driver was very kind. The coupons provide surprisingly good deals, I never feel like I’m overpaying for what I get. 2 days of food for 25 bucks? Any time man. I’ve become a repeat customer, this place is my guilty pleasure. Highly recommend.
Great experience at dominos. The manager is helpful and the pizzas are delicious
Great food. Was fast, prepared well and delicious. Wonderful customer service. I needed to submit a receipt for work, but unfortunately lost the receipt. Jonathan was quick to help me. Many thanks to Jonathan and the team!
The bad reviews do not make sense , called in my order ahead of time it was ready when it said it was and the pizza was made with love heated to perfection it’s taste was amazing! I’ve traveled the world and tried many different pizza parlors who were rude and when I came into this building I was greeted with a beautiful smile and hello as I was leaving a employee held the door open for me and said have a great day . Everyone has a different experience here and it’s gunna be based off how you approach the workers !

I always order a 14 inch, thin-crust pie with non-meat toppings. It's actually pretty good, if you're not expecting real pizza (I'm from New York City). The delivery is fast, friendly and accurate. The pizza is usually hot, and usually not too badly shaken up. It tastes fresh; the vegetables, like green peppers, are firm but properly cooked. The garden salad is cold, crispy, and tastes fresh. All-in-all, it's easy to order, the delivery is fast, and the food's really not bad. It's probably a little more expensive than it's worth, but that's the price of convenience.
Hello Google World! Usually I try to keep my reviews to support a business. But today, I must admit I had an experience from this Dominoes (and yes I know, I shouldn't be eating dominoes) that led me to write a review that is less desirable. :( I ordered a pizza from here based off a coupon. Just to let you know, if you order an X-Large (I am feeding more than myself) Brooklyn Style pizza, when baked it turns to a medium. When the pizza arrived it was cold and nasty. I called Dominoes as I have had experience with this location and let them know I was surprised by the finished product. They told me that is what it is and that they wouldn't recommend that pizza and suggests I order something different next time. Okay. But I am feeding more that myself this time and this medium pizza wouldn't really feed the group I was feeding. I assumed X-Large meant X-Large. She (I believe it was Michelle), just said sorry, better luck next time. Oh well. Just an experience to wake me up to know that I shouldn't be eating pizza to begin with. So, Thank you Michelle for your lack of customer service to remind me to choose a healthier eating option. You really did me a great favor. :)
Online ordering experience was good. Order took twice as long as any normal pizza order to get here from start to finish. Pizza barely had any toppings, garlic crust didn't have any garlic, and the pizza was cut extremely disproportionately (two large pieces, two tiny pieces, and a couple squared off pieces?). By the time the pizza got to my apartment, one pizza was room temperature at best, the other was cold, and needed to be heated up in the microwave. Overall would not recommend this location. The delivery woman was friendly though.
This store needs to be closed . I have contacted corporate offices today . Kimberly the manager there is something else . I the delivery man was 25 min late the pizza was cold and tithe delivery man stated that my order was dropped off at a hotel this will be going in the trash a charge back will be completed as well as the health department notified so glad for ring door bells . Love that I have this on record . Kimberly needs to have customer service training as she can’t even get a full coherent sentence out . DEFINITELY STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE . Even though these are privately owned you can still contact corporate for them to look into things . The owner needs to hire staff that represent him and boy he epicly failed .:
Ordered pizza it only had a few pieces of sausage. I called to speak with the managee the manager was very rude and disrespecful He even refused to give me a receipt for my purchase That is a violation of the law. I will never patronize domino's pizza.
Summary of how this is the worst dominoes in history: Ordered at 10 PM. At 12 i start calling the store for an update on my order. At 2 am I get a text saying my order is cancelled. thank you Aaron for absolutely nothing.
CROOKS AND THEIFS!!!! I never got my pizza and costumer service is a disgusting JOKE!!! I tried getting the problem fixed, but the girl hung up on me. I’ve never been so insulted in my entire life. Never order from Dominos because they hate their customers apparently.
I ordered a Ultimate Pepperoni with extra cheese, I noticed once I got back to the hotel tbey gave me a regular pepperoni pizza. I drove back over and showed them and told them what it should have been. They kindly said they would make me the correct pizza. I waited and once it was ready drove back to my hotel only to find they made a regular Pepperoni pizza just with extra cheese. How hard is it??? To make a pizza you have as a regular menu item??
Walked in to order a cheesy bread and a soda, a pretty simple order I would think. The lady insisted I ordered on my phone dispite standing there at the register arguing with me. I ended up walking away. Terrible customer service, I guess I'll go to little Ceasars instead for better prices, customer service, and speed.
I would leave 0 stars if I could. I really like Domino’s, and this was my first time at this location and it was nothing like any other Domino’s I’ve had. The pizza tasted like cardboard. They also delivered us the wrong order, and then when we called and asked for correct order the worker was SO rude and then they again delivered a different wrong order. I will not be going back here. Go to any other location.
I ordered two pan pizzas on 6/4 they were terribly made and missing half the toppings. I called the store and spoke to a manager who apologized and offered to put a credit for exactly what I ordered. I went to redeem it tonight and the manager Lilly was beyond rude. Called me a liar, told me there was nothing she could do even after I showed her my receipt and picture of the pizzas. I asked for the GMs number and she would not give that to me either. I can't believe that's how your employees treat guests, especially out of town guests who choose to spend money at your establishment.
Whoever the woman taking the calls is, a manager needs to tell her that she can’t put customers on hold and never get back to them just because she doesn’t want to deal with delivery orders. I was on hold for 15 minutes three separate times, on the first two she just vanished and never returned. On my third call she decided to do her job by finally picking up the phone and rudely telling me I was going to have to wait an hour if I wanted pizza. If you want Dominos, don’t waste your time ordering from this location.
Tried ordering during normal, posted business hours. Turns out, that means nothing. I was at a hotel just a hundred yards from them, but they never made the delivery. I called them to figure out what was going on, still during normal business hours, but they refused to answer the phone. So, I walked over to the store. One guy was sitting on his butt actively ignoring the ringing phones. Another guy came in after throwing out the trash. They both told me they were closed, even though they weren't. Anyway, long story short, they never did fulfill my order.
There is a delivery driver named David that rolls up to meet you and his first act is to hand you a pen and printed receipt with X's marked so he can get a tip. That is his first and foremost concern. Tip, then service. He is surely doing this to every single person that is tipping in cash. It's the kind of entitlement that makes you want to not tip. I had a $5 bill in my pocket ready to go and instead I pulled out two $1 bills. I should have given him nothing because he even entered the wrong address and had to call me to meet me at the correct location.
Placed an order for delivery at 5:52pm and was never updated on delivery. Attempted to called multiple times for an entire hour and no one answered. I ended up driving to pick up my own order after 7:00pm and when I asked if my delivery fees would be deducted I was told “I don’t know, ask the manager.” Manager seemed overwhelmed, overworked, and moody. I waited in line with a store full of customers, only to be ignored. This was by far the worst customer service! No apologies for the delay, no attempt to correct the situation, nothing but attitude and being ignored. If I could give 0 stars I would!!
Hours say it's open, nobody answers the phone. I get to the location and the guy working sees me but doesn't even bother to acknowledge the fact someone's trying to order food. I call again to see if they pick up; nope, they've been ignoring it. So I wasted my gas coming out here. I saw one of the guys (the cook) smoking inside at 11:15pm on February 15
This has been one of the most frustrating experiences. Our order has been "in preparation" for the past two hours. Attempted to call their landline, but no one answered, and if they do, you're left on hold for what feels like an eternity. Eventually went to pick up the order ourselves, only to find out they were unaware of it. Would not recommend ordering from this place due to their poor service. I wish there was an option for zero stars.
I ordered a pizza and bread bites last night from the dominoes in villa La Jolla plaza, and it took three hours to get here. I tried calling them multiple times to see what was up with my order, and they never picked up the phone. When I got the pizza, there was barely any tomato sauce on it. The cheese dip that I ordered had solidified to where I had to use a fork to get cheese onto my bread bites. I talked to the delivery driver, and he said that it's probably because there's only like four employees working there right now.
Pizza iwas overcooked, too many air bubbles, very little cheese very little pepperoni for the money even though it's with my 60 points is ridiculous I don't think I'll return to this location in La Jolla again this is a place is a joke they think people like eating garbage like this this is ridiculous I rather go to Papa John's goodbye no more Domino's at this location Don't order food at this location go somewhere else
Placed an order online for future delivery for the next day at my wife's company luncheon. Used the tracker 30 mins the delivery time to see the progress and it showed that it was being prepped with the staff's name who was working on the order. 30 mins later when its supposed to have been delivered, it was showing it was cancelled and to contact the store for more details. After 15mins of being on hold i finally got to speak with a staff and explained that it was due to the ovens being down. I was furious as to why i was not at least notified prior and all he said was he was sorry and hung up.
This place is a joke. We had a office Meeting and we order pizza for all the staff, order was place @11:30am and pizza was delivered 1:30pm all cold and burn as u can see in the pictures. We called to follow up on our order and we where on the phone on wait for 1 hour and nothing was resolved as they could not get a hold of the store and no supervisor was available. One had the supervisor from our job go after work to resolve the issue but the staff was rude and they told her they could not do nothing. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE ITS A JOKE so unprofessional and rude.
This is the most depressing sandwich I’ve had in my life. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich, not two pieces of cardboard with a few minuscule scraps of chicken. “Please sir, may I have some more?” This sandwich is so depressing it’s sitting here getting cold while I write this review. Sums up 2020 pretty well.
they mess up on pizzas every time i order. sometimes there’s no cheese, one time there wasn’t sauce, other times it’s a whole different pizza.
SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!! ! A few months ago my and my neighbors parked car was hit by a Dominoes driver with no insurance. His estimated speed was 70 plus miles a hour and blowing through a stop sign in a heavy foot traffic area. After finding out the driver Xavier had no insurance I called Dominos to get their insurance. I was referred to Sam the bosses boss I was informed. He advised me to gather all the estimate information and forward it to him. I requested approval for a rental car never received any; paid for it anyway because we needed a car specifically for a work event. I was ignored when requesting any update until I called the local store trying to get corporate contact numbers which they said they didn’t have, weird that a company can not contact their own corporate. Finally after getting all the necessary damage estimates $10k in damages with a bent frame on my car, I was informed that I would be getting a call from Marco to approve or not approve the repairs or money spent already just to get the car running plus the rental. Over a week later I have left multiple emails, texts and voicemails with Sam for Marco’s contact info with ZERO response. I was trying to be patient and nice to keep this out of the courts to save everyone time and money is why I waited so long for them to do the right thing. My neighbors received their compensation from dominos a while ago. I hope this makes people in our community that they service think twice before ordering from a business that has been responsible for negatively impacting our neighborhood. Thank goodness no one walking their dog, walking home from work, coming back from school, exercising etc was injured or killed. PICS!!! My car is the white Focus now with 10k of damage not including the time headache stress and financial disposition of losing a car for a few weeks waiting to get it running.
There were MEAT and onions on my pineapple and bell pepper pizza. I am unable to eat meat and when I tried to call the store to report the issue, no one ever picked up. I could therefore not eat the food I ordered and I am incredibly outraged.
Totally frustrating to order the buffalo chicken pizza without sauce and it comes out completely spicy with sauce.

This is what passes for “ Quality control”. Tried to eat it but it taste like burned dough. Terrible and not the first but will be my last from dominos
[Never delivered and marked as delivered.] I ordered a pizza from this place, took an hour to for me to know information about my order just to get a call from my driver saying "he can't deliver my pizza, because he is afraid to park outside my apartments and get a ticket." He asked me to go downstairs to pick up my pizza, but I was in the middle of a meeting... we make orders and pay for delivery so it doesn't conflict with what we are doing... Still he said he couldn't do it and just marked the process as "delivered." Won't be ordering from this dominos anymore. This is not the first time they ask me to come downstairs and meet them outside their car...
Ordered the "handmade" style pizza. It was terrible. Not fully cooked and absurd amount of cheese on top. Not good.
I used to order from here frequently. Last time I ordered the pizza was delivered to the wrong address. I called the store and the phone was handed to the extremely rude delivery driver. She kept telling me that I was wrong and that she delivered the food to our home. We had to walk around and find that she left our food on the ground in front of a different condo. The address was clearly marked so she obviously made a mistake. Very poor customer service and overall expereince. Aside from that terrible experience, the restaurant now requires an almost $25 order minimum for deliveries (even after coupons and the $5.99 delivery fee). This minimum does not even include the driver tip. I moved on to other local pizza places. Much better quality and service.
Extremely rude staff. I spent an hour on the phone trying to cancel my order that was placed for 2 days from now. During this hour I was on hold 3 times after which I finally got someone to “cancel” it for me (based on what I was told while on hold, the manager is the one that can cancel the order). Upon my order “cancellation” I was told that I need to call on Wednesday again and confirm that I don’t get charged. I told, who I assume is the manager, that I just spent an hour on the phone and that I don’t really want to do that on Wednesday again after she said that she “understands”. I asked her if there is any other way I can see that my order is cancelled because I can’t be calling and spending an hour again on Wednesday, to which she said that I need to call and I need to understand I am not the only customer. And after that, she hung up the call. So, if the owner of this franchise is reading this, I would really consider additional training for the management at your location if you want to stay in business. This was my first and the last time ordering from you. I can’t imagine that any of your customers will want to deal with this. In addition, you should staff the place more during critical hours — I was calling between 6 and 7pm, so I’m sure the place was busy. If I were ordering the pizza instead of cancelling the order, I certainly would not wait an hour on the phone to do that. This is a pizza business, not urgent care where I might need to wait an hour.
If you order food online, it is best to pay cash when driver delivers. The last few times I ordered online there were items missing in my delivery and because I paid online by credit card I was told by store I could not get a refund just a credit. Even though on two occasions they admitted they were out of the items. You would think if this is the case, just dont charge for items? The problem with this is that when you call the store to inquire on credit, they say they do not have notes on order. I've lost over $50 at this store do to credits that have seemed to be lost in their system. The customer service and delivery drivers are the worst. Last time the driver was not even close to my house and asked if I could just wait outside in the cold for him to make sure he finds place. I declined and he made it here. Don't they have navigation? Never had a driver from anywhere call me and ask me to wait outside. Food is avg.. Recommend not ordering from this location or just skip Domino's all together. Not worth the hassle.
I placed an order at 9:00 PM, but by 10:30 PM, it still hadn't arrived, so I called the store. A rude employee told me to "chill" before hanging up. I tried calling again at 11:00 PM, only to be met with another abrupt hang-up. On my third attempt, he picked up the phone and left it off the hook to avoid further calls. I never received my order. The next day, I requested a refund, and they agreed but promptly hung up on me. That was last week. Today, when I called again, another extremely rude person told me, "There's nothing I can do, call again tomorrow." This place is truly terrible. Never ordering anything from this dominos!
