Avis sur The Cove La Jolla
Great place near Scripps Park area. Went here on a Sunday morning to walk around and check the seals out, peaceful area in the early mornings. Staff and food were awesome. The view is nice too if you get there early enough to get one of the tables.
I recently stayed at The Cove for a fall I had taken. I was more than presently surprised at how clean and odor free this place is. They really go out of their way to keep things clean. Their staff is super friendly and highly knowledgeable. They got me up and going right away, which is what I truly needed. I love the outdoor areas too. Its very nice to have that available. Us San Diegans enjoy our sun time. I am very grateful to have chosen and stayed here, I truly appreciate their philosophy, practices, and staff. I highly recommend The Cove as a place to recover, their definitely on top of their game.
Above and beyond outstanding care and the best staff on the planet! My mother absolutely loves it here and is living her best life. I am so grateful to each and every one of you! I can't recommend The Cove enough - staff truly cares, they are communicative, responsive, highly professional, skilled and on top of everything. You've been such a blessing to our family. I can rest easy at night knowing my mother is safe, secure, having all her needs met, and best of all, she is so happy here!

The staff welcomed me as a visitor and simplified the process for my visit. We enjoyed sitting on the patio while catching up.

My husband is currently at this facility. We are so grateful and pleased with the experience. Staff is very kind and accommodating. Physical therapists and nurses are greats. Alisha the nurse was great!
I came here one day to visit a friend that was staying here. Everyone I encountered was very professional and welcoming. The nurse Ralphy was very attentive to our needs and even helped us with other requests even though his main job is to do treatments. I also got to meet the nurse manager in charge of the facility, Kimberly. She was welcoming and on top of everything. It reassured me that great care is being provided here. I give this place five stars.
Remembering the first time visiting this facility, it didn’t have that “odor” - which is great. They have a good way of keeping the facility clean. Staff are also pleasant and helpful. Their receptionist is very warm, welcoming, and attentive. Also, location is nice and couple minutes away by the beach.
Staff is wonderful. Kind, respectful and attentive! Much nicer than my mother’s previous assisted living facility in Encinitas.
I would leave a 6-star review if Google would permit it. The staff at The Cove are such a close-knit team, and it shows through the care that they provide their patients. Patients perform their therapy sessions in a beautiful room - with a lot of large windows - that looks out into La Jolla. When you leave the hospital for a short-term rehab, you want to feel like you are on your way to being home. The Cove at La Jolla is the home-like setting families are looking for. Everyone from Myra, to KT and Becca in social services were so accommodating. Even the community's director, Jenny, walks around making sure everything is running as expected. Happy faces everywhere you turn :)
On behalf of my mom (prior resident), care was great. Staff took good care of my mom and kept her fall free! Received great nursing and rehab care. Would have her stay at the cove again. 100% recommend.
I recently had the pleasure of working with Nurse Raffy Joy at The Cove at La Jolla. He went above and beyond in providing quality care for the residents, taking the time to get to know them and their needs. He was always very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Additionally, he was always willing to answer any questions I had and to provide suggestions to help improve the care of the residents. I was thoroughly impressed with his attention to detail and his commitment to providing the best care possible. He truly made a difference in the lives of the residents. I highly recommend Nurse Raffy Joy for any nursing facility.
Love The Cove! My experience at The Cove I felt welcomed and comfortable. The staff made me feel like family, and the appearance of the place made me feel at ease. If I could give more stars I would.

I hear nothing, but great news in patients who have stayed at The Cove. The clinicians are respectful, attentive, and professional. The facility itself is clean and neat. As a home health nurse, I would definitely recommend this facility.
I accompanied family members here, for a tour. The outside does not look like a regular nursing home but the inside is clean and there’s no urine/poop smell that lingers in the air. Staff are friendly & very welcoming. Did not choose this place because of distance from my place but was top of my list.

second time here-mjust as good as i remember. bloody mary is to die for. I'm not a big fan of sweet drinks, but my husband ordered us the mimosa bucket, or whatever it's called. I just drank champagne with a drop of OJ & it was pretty good! the food was amazing. my husband cleaned his plate!

Good food but not worth the price. The portion to price ratio was not it. Great views. Beautiful patio.
They do not listen. I’ve been here for over a week and they’ve put milk and juices I specifically ask them not to on my meal trays, and this slip on the tray that specifically says no milk, no apple juice, no cranberry juice (they cause negative effects on my transplant anti rejection meds). I’ve got nobody on the outside to help me and a broken hip so I’m captive here with these people. I have to practically beg for my medication and ask 2 or 3 different people before they finally respond. This place is clown shoes.

My aunt was supposed to stay there for her rehab, as soon as she checked in, she knew she was not going to stay here. She was still willing to give it a try and stayed one night. It was overcrowded, dark, understaffed, you literally can’t take a shower if it’s not your “scheduled” day. Very disappointing.

My cardisc team was originally told I would get a private room. Once there I did not. Food is horrible. I have my own brought in. I lay in my filth for hours waiting to be changed I have complained several times, nothing changes. Constant excuses of mid communication. I can't wait to get out of here.
This place is absolutely HORRIBLE!! If you truly care about your loved one, do not send them here. My client was here for a while and to summarize and put it bluntly, everything sucked! The doctors nor the nurses took good care of my client, the food was disgusting, and yes I tried it. Sometimes my client would be eating and wondering what the heck it was! If you had to call the nurse they would take forever to come. The rooms are soooo small, well the 2nd room my client was moved to was a little better but the first one was very small, especially for having to share. The place is dark and dreary. It has an awful smell that hits you right when you walk in. By the way, after re-reading this, I realize it kind of makes me sound snobby, but I'm far from it. I don't live in this area but my client does, that's why it was chosen. Definitely not what I expected for being in La Jolla. If you want good care for your loved one, don't go here, look elsewhere!!
