Avis sur Trilogy Sanctuary La Jolla
As a vegetarian, I’m surprised it took me this long to discover this place. Beyond the food, they also offer a wide variety of classes, though I haven’t tried any yet. There are a few indoor tables, but the rooftop outdoor seating is the real highlight, it offers stunning views and is absolutely beautiful. It took me a while to choose what to order because everything looked so tempting. I ended up getting the Sunset Tacos, which were fantastic, though a bit pricey for the portion size. I really love the concept of this place and hope they consider increasing the portions to better match the pricing.
What an incredible find in La Jolla! The peaceful vibe is unmatched. We tried the POG and Watermelon Lime kefir sodas, which were the perfect refreshing energy boost after a long beach walk. The Falafel Wrap was great, but the Trilogy Loaded Burger was the standout—honestly the best burger I’ve had in the US. As a vegetarian, it’s rare to find a non-processed, house-made patty that tastes this good. Reasonable prices and amazing quality; I’m definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu.
A Plant-Based Dream in La Jolla — Truly One of a Kind We were in San Diego for a business trip and stumbled upon Trilogy, and honestly… we ended up eating here every single day (and ordering takeout). This was the only place in the area that checked every box for us: organic, gluten-free, plant-based, no processed ingredients, and no refined sugar. That combination is almost impossible to find. There are plenty of vegan restaurants, but you never really know what’s in their food and lots of places rely on processed substitutes, seed oils, or sugary sauces. Trilogy is different. Everything is clean, intentional, and made with real ingredients. I usually have to cook all my meals when I travel because I don’t trust restaurant food, but it was such a relief to finally relax and enjoy a meal knowing it aligned with everything I look for. It honestly felt like my body could breathe. We tried almost the entire menu: – Nachos – Breakfast Burrito – Miso Bowl – Adora Bowl – Plant Power Bowl – Cosmic Quinoa Bowl – Chili – Avocado Bruschetta – Mac n Cheeze – Perfect Tacos – Enchiladas – “Best Burger Yet” – Carrot Cake – Pumpkin Pie – Paradise Cheesecake - Coconut Cortado - Latte - Matcha Every single dish had flavor, freshness, and that homemade feel you can only get when the kitchen cares about ingredients. Nothing tasted heavy or artificial just real food prepared with love. We need more restaurants like this. Trilogy made our trip 10x easier, and we wish every city had a place we could trust the way we trusted them. If you’re serious about clean eating, this is the spot in San Diego.
Trilogy is the best vegan cafe in San Diego hands down! The seared spring rolls, enticing eggplant, mac & cheez are all delicious options, but the real star of the show is their sweet treats — I pretty much order their transcendent brownie and vegan cookies every time I come! The ingredient and flavor quality is so good, although it better be for the price haha. Only other downsides are the run-down environment and often unfriendly service, but I will still be back for the best healthy, vegan meals!
Trilogy is my home away from home. Whether I’m being guided by Gabrielle or Keith, or Amelia’s nourishing me in the cafe….I always feel so held in this community of beautiful souls! ✨✨✨✨
What a gem the Trilogy Sanctuary is. Easily missed, the elevator transports you to a rooftop oasis right in the middle of La Jolla. The smoothies were tasty and wholesome and left us energized for the rest of the day. Looking forward to another visit next time we're in San Diego!
This vegan restaurant stands out as one of the finest places I have ever dined at. I tried three dishes and they were all a delightful experience, showcasing the vibrant flavors and textures that fresh, plant-based ingredients can offer. I wholeheartedly recommend this exceptional establishment to anyone looking for delicious, high-quality vegan cuisine. The attention to freshness and creativity in their menu truly sets this place apart!
I would live and work here. I would never leave. What a cute spot! Visited while on vacation and it was everything I needed after a long flight. Tacos were spectacular, vibes immaculate. The smoothie was great, too! Although I almost choked on a banana because it was added whole which I didn’t realize and thought was odd but hey, that’s California for ya! So cute and very cool.
Thank You Trilogy Sanctuary, for Serving REAL FOOD! Everything was Delicious! IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN HERE YET..... Stop "thinking" about visiting this place, and JUST GO ALREADY! Best Healthy Kitchen in California! LOVE has built this place. Gratitude. 🙏💚💜🌈🗣️🕉️☮️💜🤪🫶 The Plant Power Bowl & Enticing Eggplant were Delicious.
We recently visited this place and absolutely loved the experience. The rooftop setting was peaceful and inviting, and the vibe felt both vibrant and relaxing. Tried the Quinoarizo con Huevos and the Enchiladas, and both were flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel good about what you’re eating and where you’re eating it—definitely worth a return visit.
Five Stars for Carlos the chef. The food was incredible. I was 100% surprised on the quality of food and the taste. I am a meat eater and even though this place is vegan and gluten free, I found the food exquisite. The perfect tacos were in fact the perfect tacos, my son enjoyed the fresh Spring rolls. By the way, the Mac and Cheese were wonderfully delicious.
Phenomenal location on the rooftop. Fully vegan menu. Very healthy but also extremely flavorful.
Amazing vegan spot with beautiful vibes! 🌱 We tried several dishes including the Rise Bowl, Shroom skillet, the brownie with coconut ice cream, and a perfect taco (not pictured) — every single bite was incredible! Super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The space itself adds so much to the experience — it’s a rooftop café with a relaxing, boho-chic ambiance. Think open-air seating, ocean breeze, cozy cushions, and yoga vibes.
Went with the kids and the dog and had a great lunch. The patio is perfect for dogs and the kids had room to roam around. The nachos were our favorite. Enchiladas were great if you like spice! Friendly folks working here.
Incredibly diverse fully vegan and gluten free menu. Perfect spot for my sister and I who have some dietary restrictions! We also hadn’t realized that it duals as a yoga studio amongst other things- love that energy!! And what an amazing rooftop view. I got the Miso Bowl and added roasted butternut squash, it was delicious. Will definitely be back when I’m in La Jolla next! :)
Love the food and the atmosphere! The gift shop is beautiful. A great place to visit

Absolutely delicious 100% gluten free and vegan menu! They are very accommodating for other allergies. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food was so good. We will be back for sure next visit!
[Not 0ppm Celiac safe] - This the best food I’ve ever had. I was so happy to find such a fantastic restaurant. That’s why I gave it 5 stars. However, it is not celiac safe for those who need 0ppm like me. There must be contamination from products processed in facilities that process wheat or something. I have not been this sick since diagnosis 14 years ago. I had to Quinoa bowl and Dumplings. They were delicious with very large portion sizes for the price. So if you aren’t as sensitive as I am definitely go.
I go here quite often. This is not how I typically eat but If I'm going out I'd rather pay up to get some healthier food. It is a small restaurant so during peak hours you should come with someone who you like spending time with, you're gonna have some time to catch up. Beautiful view, chill vibes.
Nice place to have brunch and enjoy the view. We ordered nachos, dumplings, baked sweet potatoes, avocado toast and enchiladas. Everything was great, dumplings were a bit chewy.

Food was delicious albeit pricey for portion size but given location it's understandable. Ambiance, lovely. However, the young gal who took our order said less than a couple words, was not friendly, did not smile, seem like she did not want to be there, and created an experience that would not want make me to return. Very disappointing given the high price point of the experience here. If I were the owner and had that interaction I would fire her on the spot.
GREAT food! I love how everything is plant based and focuses on Whole Foods and doesn’t promote processed foods. The atmosphere is amazing. The view is incredible and looks amazing during the evenings. The only complaint I have is that the staff are not the nicest and tend to have an attitude. If you can overlook that, I recommend this for the food.

I love the vibe of this place. Ideally, would be my perfect spot…. BUT I ordered the Brussel Sprout Delight dish and I was unfortunately, was not delighted. Frankly, quite disappointed. Furthermore, I think this is a beautiful place due to the atmosphere and the focus of nailing vegan options, but this specific dish was not worth $15. I would’ve hoped for much more.

Very unresponsive when trying to book a private class for a large group. In the span of 2 weeks, I submitted a form, called 5-6 times, and emailed 2-3 times for information and the payment process. I was emailed back only 1 time by Carly. Anytime I reached someone on the phone, they did not follow up. The last time I called, the individual I spoke to (Nara?) hung up on me after I expressed my disappointment with the process. We only wanted to book here because it was in a great location close to the beach and there were other good reviews (although not about private classes), but the response time was far too slow.
