Great value for money and really fantastic old school place to get food. The gyro sandwich for 3.99 was incredible value and really tasty.
Our server was super nice. Great burgers 🍔

I love Weevil! Great local hangout spot, amazing happy hour deals, friendly staff. Always a good time, stop by and support a local business that will throw you back into the 90s again.
Weevils is still there, staff is wonderful, service is excellent what else can I say? Gyros plate is very good.
Lunch with a friend - burgers are supposed to be to be over the top! We had grilled hot dogs $2.99! Very good - lots of condiment suggestions. I’d go back. Maybe a burger next time!
This is a staple of San Diego and I hope it never changes or goes away. If you want a great burger with a great home made sauce this is you're place. I'm in Chula Vista and it's more than 30 min away but I'll come a couple times a month. It is that good. I wish one would open in the south county I've been eating at Bollweveil for more than 50 years now.
2nd time there with the family food was good and filling atmosphere is friendly lots a space for events kids sports gatherings and all.
The environment was nice and quiet. Our food was prepared just like ordered, perfect burgers well well done, bacon crispy and the buns nice and toasted. Thumbs up to the chef. The waitress was pleasant and on top of things, professional. It's a long way to come from Imperial Beach but all worth it,we will return
I go to this restaurant quite often, they have amazing food and great service. The servers are always extremely nice and it seems like they thoroughly enjoy their job. I can't think of any negatives about this restaurant and I would highly recommend it. I usually get the ¼ pound special for $12 which comes with a burger, fries, and a drink. Over all, I highly recommend.

Great quiet place for lunch, I worry about the secret getting out! Very filling large burgers, great curly fries and onion rings! FRESH!!!

Friday is 1/2 off on appetizers so that was cool but, it was salty so 4 stars and not 5. I honestly would also prefer onion rings over the chicken pieces for a bigger variety. Oh yeah, I'm talking about the sampler platter. The garlic bread was BOOOOOOOOOMB and I think they make they're own croutons which were equally as scrumptious. Soup was bland. Burgers were good, nothing superb but way better than any fast food joint. They also bring a tray of condiments to your table which I loved. A tub of pickles, another of onions, one of relish and lastly one of peppers. Service was excellent!
One of San Diego's homespun eateries once again proved to be one of my favorite places to relax and enjoy the best burger in town. I had a coupon for a free 2nd entree so I ordered 2 half pounders. It was Friday so the appetizers we're half price. We split a huge sampler plate, chicken breast tenders, mozzarella sticks, chicken wings, cheese quesadillas, and jalapeno poppers. My son ordered euros. Draft beer was also half price. Hella good time I recommend to everyone.
So, its an old school burger joint with comfy diner booths and sweet, scatterbrained waitresses. Don't come here if you're in a rush. Food is greasy but, mostly, in a good way. Fries are basic but you can dress them up with the AWESOME condiment tray (see picture). Ask for mayo. Portions are big! This place is perfect for watching sports/ football with their beer picher specials and huge viewing screen. They have a few draft beer options and plenty of domestic options as well as tasty milkshakes and root beer floats. They have a tiny arcade section with a billiard table in the back. Huge parking lot. I threw everything up later that night BUT it was probably a new medication I was on and the huge beer I forced myself to consume.

The food was good but the female waiter was the worst. At first, she cut us off while talking and was very short with us while ordering. Worst service I've ever had.
My family seems to love the place to get together. Always room for everyone. Hamburger's are good. Must be patient and have plenty of time to spare because it takes a while for service and the food to be prepared.

We originally went in, because of the reviews and it showed it was on the low price range... not the case. It cost $40 for two adults and a child's drink. I was honestly so taken aback by the price. If we didn't have our young kids with us, we would have just left. The food is noo where near the price tag. Honestly it's bowling alley quality. I would have been happier eating for half price at a Wendy's or for the full price at Stacked. $3 for a single glass of soda. No fries included with their burgers. Ooofta! That being said, Weevil Burger is very family friendly aside from the price. The restaurant is very roomy. The food came in a timely manner.

The worst burger I have ever had for $22.00. No favor in the patty, cheese didn't melt, the fries were way under cooked also without seasoning and in addition the lady waitress was every rude to me when asking questions but very polite to the older customers. The only pleasant experience was from the young man whom was very polite when taking my order. Never going there again!!!
My wife and I went to have dinner on Sunday around 6 PM. We ordered two burgers we waited one hour and we still did not get our order. We waited another 15 minutes and still did not get our order. We ended up telling the waitress to cancel our order and we got up and left.
We walked in with our kids to give ot a try and got treated like we didnt belong their. Waitress aproched our table and droped the menus on the table and walked away....didn't great us at all....we decided to leave and the Waitresses sarcastically said "bye thank you for coming"....
This place was empty except for the workers and two older gentlemen. I loved the advertising and from it I guess I expected too much. This was the worst burger I've ever eaten. The bun was all ratty, and the meat had almost no darkening on it. It also tasted like it had no darkening on it. Seasoning was out of the question. Wouldn't eat there ever again.
