First time stopping here and the customer service was phenomenal! Friendly people, smiles, all things I thought were forgotten nowadays! From now on I'll just cross the bridge to go to this Whataburger instead of the one closer to me just because it's SO nice to be treated with kindness! Great job yall!

I stopped at this Whataburger on day 12 of my over 10,000 mile road trip around America to try my FIRST EVER WHATABURGER. It was a pretty great meal, but more importantly I was treated to the finest service I've ever experienced in a fast-food restaurant. If I wrote her name down correctly, I was served by Charlene, and she went above and beyond to ensure myself and the other patrons were well taken care of, asking how the food is and if she could get us anything (refills, napkins, and more). Charlene, this was the finest act of service I experienced in the entirety of the United States of America, from fast-food to fine dining. Thank you for making my visit so enjoyable!
If the early morning manager would do her job n keep her employees from making mistakes on there order. By the time you get work n find out they messed your order up n u call them, she acts like no big deal n could care less. You can't clock out of your job to go back n get if fixed. She just more or less laughed.
Best Whataburger I've been too. Everyone was polite and helpful. As soon as I walked in a young man greeted me with a smile. I believe he was a manager. Thank you for getting my order right and being so courteous.
Tried it for the first time and it exceeded expectations. Two drive thru lanes is a great addition and I was greeted by a friendly worker who helped me figure out what to order. The burger was very good while the fries are nothing special.
This place is so good! it gets really busy so I feel bad for the short staff they have. I ordered the Patty Melt meal and the guy that took my order was so sweet! His name was Jose, he made sure my food came out in time even though the place was packed!!! My sister ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, I told him to make sure it was fresh and he warned me it’d be a 7 minute wait. It was worth the wait because the chicken was hot and juicy!!! The experience was great, service was awesome, and food AMAZING!!! 10/10.
This establishment is great and (Anna) management knows great customer service along with assisting with employees. This location will do well in all areas. Great service and FOOD!
This is the first whataburger that I have visited and the customer service is exceptional. Chris took my order and he was very polite! The service was fast as well, I waited less than 5 minutes to receive my order. Most importantly, my burger was made as requested.
It is good (?) to know what to expect when visiting restaurants in towns other than where you live. I do like knowing what to expect when I am not in a food adventure state of mind. Whataburger is a place that you can count on when you are just hungry for that burger that has that trademark taste and flavor, and nothing else will do. It is a bonus, IMHO, to know whatever town I am in, I can count on that taste, flavor, and aroma that satisfies that craving. I like this restaurant and the food they serve, you might like it too.

Eat here, the one in Seabrook takes forever to get simple orders and the manager is rude if you question their 20-30 minute wait times. This location seems to not have that issue.
Driving from Pasadena. There 3 here, but this one in La Port is worth the drive.... friendly staff, quick, hot fresh service, and the store is so clean!
This Whataburger location is noticeably cleaner, and the atmosphere feels completely different compared to about a year ago. I bring my cleaning crew here for lunch from time to time, and we’ve all noticed the positive change. The new staff is friendly, attentive, and does a great job keeping the place welcoming. Definitely a big improvement—keep up the great work!
Huge improvement at the Whataburger in La Porte. The food is fresh, service is fast, and the management has completely turned this location around compared to past visits. Much faster than the location by Walmart. Definitely recommend.

Prime stop-in for a nice warm meal on the way home from work. This place does a great job at keeping their wait times down at all hours of the night, even when they're short-staffed. Parking lot is well-lit and it's just off the highway so not too hard to see nor get to. Always get the spicy ketchup.
I arrived before lunch and the place was immaculate. The staff was cheerful and friendly. The men's room was also very clean and, dare I say it, inviting... lol. They did have plenty of parking, and was wheelchair accessible. However, there was one thing missing... sweet tea in the dining area. I had to ask for it from the kitchen. But, when I asked, they immediately started working on getting some out there. Overall, it was a good experience.
Visit 7-4-24: We went here after watching fireworks. The place was busy inside and out. We ordered fairly quickly and the food was brought reasonably quick. The server didn't bring any ketchup or napkins, and my daughter's milkshake was left off the tray. I went up to the register/kitchen area and explained what happened and then they brought a vanilla shake. However, she ordered a chocolate shake and so I went back to the register to get it fixed. The new one only had the tiniest amount of chocolate in it but my daughter went ahead and drank it. Holidays are usually busy nights at fast food places in small towns. The staff should have been better prepared to handle the crowd and rushed orders.
Today 11/12 around noon. They had the best crew. Food is always good but often wrapped sloppy making you have to reconstruct your sandwich...today 110% spot on! Update: They rarely can never get the right chicken. I order grilled and ger breaded. It's frustrating 😒

Was made to wait longer than usual. My nephew's burger has pickles and onions after telling them dry cheese burger. No fries were given for the 3 meals. Sweet tea was sour. Dr. Pepper was mostly carbonation.
Decent take outs on the occasional weekends. Service can be a hit or miss here.

Food is a bit better than your average fast food place. Service was awesome with an extremely personable young man. My only let down was the chocolate malt...Not very malty tasting at all and sadly they use a strange chocolate so wasn't a yeah that's a good chocolate experience for my picky chocolate lover taste buds.
Visited on a Monday night 7ish. It was not busy. Cashier was super nice and very attentive. I ordered the Patty Melt combo with strawberry milkshake. The burger was warm, not HOT and the fries tasted warm from heat lamp. So, it was not a good time to visit. If you visit at lunch time, everything is hot which is what I expected especially for the price but it was a miss this time.

Is it a requirement to smash the burgers as flat as humanly possible? I’ve never once got a burger front this place that didn’t look like it was sat on by a New York cab driver.
Very busy at noon but that doesn’t justify the bad service. I pre ordered for curbside pick up at 11:50 but waited for 20 minutes before I had to go inside to find that my order had been sitting on the counter for some time. The chicken didn’t have the sauce I requested.

I waited outside for my curbside order for 15 minutes before finally going inside. Turns out my order had been sitting there on a shelf. I asked a manager how long it had been sitting there because it was cold, she said it was fine and walked away while I was still trying to talk to her! It’s one thing to make a mistake, but another to completely ignore the problem instead of fixing it.
Why is it an automatic 25 minute wait to get food. And don't let there be more than 3 cars in line. Great food though
I'm not sure if the buffalo ranch chicken strip sandwich is no longer available, but I ordered this sandwich and I got a sandwich with bread, chicken and cheese along with a packet of ranch and a packet of buffalo sauce. If the sandwich is not longer available then say that. Dont charge me then have me making my own sandwich.
I'll be nice and give 2 stars, but how is it that even though my husband works here, any and every time we decide to get food the food is either old, cold or wrong? If your employees can't even get the right orders, how do you expect your customers to as well? And then when it's brought to a managers attention your told "if your wife is so picky make her food yourself"? Sorry sir, that's against policy and you know that.
Several visits and nothing has changed, they hop on that struggle bus and ride it to the woods only to get stuck in the mud. Service is god awful no matter which choice you make, drive thru, curbside or dine in. The food consistently is slopped together by incompetent staff and smothered with sauces with deliberate intention to screw up the order. Despite repeated efforts to bring it to their attention, nothing gets better.
The drive thru is becoming slower and slower. 1 car ordering in front of me. Took 10 minutes between getting in line and making my order. It took over 15 more minutes to actually pay and get my food. The food is fine but like all others has gotten smaller since they opened as well.
Service is normally really slow here. I get that lunchtime is busy, but they should also be staffed for the lunch rush. Last time I ordered via the Whataburger app and, said I would be there between 11:55a-12:05p. After arriving at 12:02p and checking in to spot #2 (directly in front of the store)....I waited. and waited....and then waited some more. Finally at 12:15 I went inside, to find my cold hamburger and fries and partially melted milkshake waiting on the shelf. The employee at the front counter stammered and blamed the back-of-house staff for clearing the status of my order, or something like that. I think I'll try another restaurant next time for lunch.
Slow and will mess up your order if it "special order" ! Always check your order before you leave! They should fire everyone there and hire a whole new crew for morning, lunch and evening shifts.

I stop at this store most weekday mornings between 4:30 and 5am on my way to work. Most of the time, my breakfast is missing items, or my tacitos are colder and thrown together. In the last to monthes since I have been coming in at this time they have been getting worse and worse about not taking orders due to a "system update" that apparently happens two or three times a week. I stopped in Monday 10/16 and was told of the update that had apparently just stated when I pulled up. When I drove past the window to go somewhere else, I saw the team leader inside laughing and watching me drive by. Yesterday 10/17 they would not answer the drive thru but had a sign on the door that said they were closed for maintenance when I went to the door but there was no maintenance company trucks around nor did it look like any work was being done inside. When I used to frequent this store between 6:30 and 7am, I never had these issues. Makes me think the night crew is trying yo just not work.
Came thru drive through this morning. Ordered my usual got home to prepare and enjoy and found a long black hair in my taquito as I was about to add the picante. Took it back to the store and the manager Craig was extremely rude wanted to raise his voice and act like I had done the wrong when in fact it was their fault. Disgusting. Ray on the other hand was great and tried to help the situation and was very informative.

this place is a joke for customer service. came through the drive thru at 10:45. there were 4 or 5 cars waiting but I was able to order. I asked for a #4 combo with no lettuce and extra pickle. the Girl said "no pickle?" I said I want extra pickle. she then said $5.(change). I was like oh no I want the combo. her response was "just asked you that and you told me no." I said "I asked for a #4. does this mean I can't get the combo? you know what forget it." I left. I called the manager to to ask what is going on at her store because the smart butt working the com is not providing accuracy or customer service. I asked the manager "what #4 meant to to her?" she said "well we have to make sure." I replied "make sure? I said I wanted a #4 and your employee just did what she wanted. clearly this is where the training she got is deriving from." I get on reviews and see this is a 4.1...it's going to be in the 3's in no time. It's very said that piss poor customer service is the norm now. People want free money and don't want to do the work.

Ordered curbside pickup but after checking in and waiting for 10 minutes my food was not brought out. I had to go inside and pickup my order. It was just sitting there ready so it did get a bit cold. I’ve had a few issues with this location and curbside orders before. It seems like they’ve been having service issues for some time now. Hopefully this gets fixed eventually. The food here is a hit or miss. Edit: Want to add a review on my current experience. They still don’t come outside to the car for curbside orders. Went inside for pickup and they dropped my food. Took forever in the first place then they had to remake it. Edit: another visit was terrible. Absolutely horrible service per usual. They are always slow and take forever but this morning it was ridiculous. Then when the girl handed me the drink, the lid was not on and it spilled all over me and my car. Instead of getting napkins, she went to go get the manager and other workers just looked at me as I asked for napkins over and over and tried to get someone’s attention. Then all the manager did was hand me napkins. Never a single apology for spilling the drink or leaving me there covered in drink or anything. This will be my last straw and I won’t be going back.
This is the worst Whataburger around. First, I went through the drive thru. I ordered a breakfast burger. I was told I had to order it online and pick it up. They can't put it in the computer. I told them they did it last week and was told someone extremely rude. I ordered someone different. At the window I was given more attitude and had the window shut on me when trying to get ketchup. I stayed around until the girl came back and asked to speak to the manager. I pulled up and the manager came outside with even more attitude. I explained what happened and he said they can't even make the breakfast sandwich at all. They don't carry the ingredients. I stated that's it's online and what the other girls told me. I asked why am I getting different stories and was told lack of communication on their part. He apologized to me with attitude saying he was sorry. I told him that he is not sorry and he said I was right. I drove off. What a horrible experience all the way around. They need new management severely.
Went through the drive through around 215am after work. Ordered a double meat with cheese, no meal. Got my order and when I got home see it's only one patty. Not busy at all how can they mess that up. Really unacceptable, not sure who is running the late shift. Be better
The food was great but the employees in the back cooking were extremely loud and acted like they were at home cursing and being disrespectful towards each other. Loud and not respectful of the guests. Back again today… they gave our order to someone at drive their and that’s just unacceptable. Poor business management. Went through drive thru at first, nobody came to take order. Another car pulled up to the 2nd line and immediately had her order taken. I then went inside, nobody’s at the counter. The manager on duty told me they couldn't give me the .40$ sauce bc I didn't have my receipt. I hate the fact that this is the closest Whataburger that I have to home. Workers here are always rude, the order is NEVER correct, and they never fill the bag with the condiments you request. Once you grab your order and ask them kindly if there are condiments they always say yes, once you check there is nothing in there. I love Whataburger but if I can grab one from elsewhere on my way home, I rather do that. I feel when I order at this location that I am causing them an inconvenience as a customer that is paying for a service. I just don't understand why people work where they don't want to work, therefore provide the worst service possible.
Went in to pick up a to-go order which you think would be easy but apparently not at this location.. I walked in and no one was at the counter so I stood there and waited for about two minutes. Finally a worker comes out of the kitchen into the lobby, looks directly at me, and walks to a table to sit down with another employee. I smiled at her and she completely ignored me. No acknowledgement at all. I think she’s on break so I don’t think too much of it. Another employee comes out of the kitchen and does the same exact thing. He doesn’t even look over at me and goes to the same table with the other two employees. Finally another employee comes from the kitchen, apologizes for the wait and was very nice about it. I tell her I’m just picking up an order so she goes to the back to check on it. In that time, a woman from the kitchen (I’m assuming was the manager) calls out to the two employees sitting and tells them they need to come back in the kitchen. So apparently only the original person sitting was on break and not the two that came out and didn’t acknowledge me. So imagine my shock to find out that they were both on the clock and still not even acknowledging a customer AT ALL?? The nice employee finally comes back and tells me that my order is almost ready so I move over so I’m basically looking into their kitchen from where I’m standing now. I wait about 4 more minutes and the first girl that came out earlier that didn’t acknowledge my existence is holding my bag of food and talking to another employee about shoes…. She FINALLY stops talking and instead of just handing me my food, she throws it on the to-go rack and walks off still not saying a word to me. It was extremely rude and I thought it was actually insane to hold a customers food while I’m standing there watching just to talk about shoes when I’ve already been waiting almost 10 minutes FOR A TO GO ORDER..
I try so hard to come back here every few months and like it. Everytime something with my order gets messed up. The frys always taste stale and soggy. The cashiers are always friendly but the food just has gone downhill after covid 19.
Fries dry tasted like they was 2 weeks old. All trash can full to the top, trash falling out. Trash all over the restaurant even behind the counter of the cashier. I blame the incompetent manager who ever it was for the restaurant being in bad shape. Terrible management!
This is by far the worst What-a-burger I go to and only go because it's the closest to my home. You order on the app, and the food is never brought curbside. You'll always have to go inside to get the food. Drinks are never ready, either. You order and arrive at the later of the pickup time and still watch the drive-thru move and no order delivered. This morning is why I am finally writing a review. I opened my bag once I arrived back to my home, and this was the hash browns. I'm not eating them as they look like they've fallen on the floor. Picked up with tongs and shoved in the sack. I get it's fast food, but do better What-a-burger. They haven't been the same since Billy left. IYKYK
They take wayyyyy to long to get our food out. Don't even try to come get food here for lunch. You'll spend your entire lunch break waiting for a burger. Then you finally get your food and the order is wrong. I love whataburger. But this location needs do to something. This is ridiculous.

It is a Saturday morning at 9:54. We have been sitting in the drive thru for 25+ minutes! I have never been sat this long at a whataburger! The food was hot and fresh. The girl who took our order and handed our was polite. But 30 on the drive thru??? Need to do better!
Can I do a no star the management is horrible they should be called can’t get your order right how can we help you and if you don’t like the job quit it’s not for everybody but have a better attitude that’s free and it don’t cost nothing I really wish corporate would do a surprise visit or other Whataburger managers around town would do one to see how bad the one in Laporte off 146 is doing it’s really embarrassing
I bought a number #1 went home and ate 30 minutes after eating I got a bad stomach ale throwing up I was hurting so bad I had to go to the emergency room they told me they couldn't do anything they told to go home and wait till it went away I will never eat there again after 5 days when I got sick one of my friends got sick when he ate there
Sat in drive thru for 45 minutes. Food tastes great but will be the last time I eat at this location. Time stamp below shows from the time I ordered, time I paid, and then finally the time we were given our burger combos. We left without getting the WhataChickin Sandwich, since we were told would be additional 4-6 minutes. Add in the additional time sitting in drive thru before food was ordered and jus overall very disappointed. IN-N-OUT BURGER we need U!
Everyone knows Whataburger takes longer than McDonalds but this location is atrocious. After 25 minutes I finally had to leave, I call back and this manager is condescending and just flat out rude. She had no business dealing with the public at all, she blamed it on being understaffed but that’s not true at all, they cleared the entire drive thru line and I was still waiting on my food. Not one utter of the words I’m sorry or apologize, it’s well if you had….placing blame back on the customer. I shut that convo down at that point. You aren’t going to insult me at that point. Website left no method to order salad dressing. Salad with out a dressing is NOT a usual order and should be specified no dressing. Then the workers hung up on me twice. The workers and website should have asked. I don't work at whataburger and should not have to be trained on placing an order. The workers are awful and rude and the website is awful. Should have to specify a dressing before completion and workers should be nice. I deserve a refund.

Went and spent 40 dollars for my family to eat ordered SWEET TEA with all 3 meals. Received my tea UNSWEETENED. Kindly told the window cashier that it was unsweetened he went to “change” it brought back unsweetened tea again. Then proceeds to take all 3 drink and POUR SUGAR into the drink leaving a slush of sugar at the bottom of 2 large drink and my daughters CHILDS drink. All while the manager is standing right there. Great job whataburger. Ended up leaving without any drinks only food. And no comment or address from the manager that was standing again RIGHT THERE!
Had 1 person on register, waited 15 minutes to order because they had a long line, was in there more than an hour on a togo order because they lost my ticket, and I only knew that because when I stood up to check on the order the girl that took my order says its not ready after about 30 minutes of waiting. I sit back down and 2 minutes later she asks for my receipt because she thinks the kitchen lost my ticket. At this point they had slowed down but still took 5+ minutes to make my order, and the lady i assume was running the shift comes over with my food, half apologizes and leaves, not offering condiments as is their normal routine. I quickly check the food because the bag was small, all the fries had fallen in the bag since it was hastily made. When i made my way back to the car i realized they didn't give me a gravy for the biscuits and gravy I ordered but since they kept my receipt i had no way of knowing if maybe they charged me for just a biscuit. I go back to order a side of gravy since i was trying to leave and not make a fuss, except it takes them more than 10 minutes because while the girl that first took my order realized that I was still waiting for something, the manager makes an off remark that she already gave me my order so i explained I had been missing my gravy and I ordered another side of it. Well she tells the cashier that first took my order that "see he's just waiting for gravy" and walks off, assumingly to grab said gravy. No. She forgot and when im still there 5 minutes later exclaims at the cashier that she told her to get me the gravy before. (She didnt actually tell her that once) The 2nd cashier that took my gravy order comes over and hands me 2 ramekins of gravy, one that I ordered the 2nd time but the first one should have been bigger since it came in a side meal. At that point i just left and despite living 5 minutes away, got home to half cold food. I'm very patient and I didn't cause a fuss, but that shift was terribly executed, I could visible see about 8 people in their kitchen alone when I arrived and were busy plus 2 people in the front but only one cashier running the line. The manager/shift i assume was in charge had to apologize to plenty of people before my order because the kitchen kept losing tickets or messing them up so I wasnt too surprised when that happened to mine. I don't know if they need more people or what, but I can definitely tell you they need a better leader, because while she kept up an okay attitude she didn't know how to properly manage her staff, talk to customers or the situations. The floors were also visibly dirty and once it slowed lots of the staff were sent home but the place remained dirty. The burger was also completely squished down since it had been improperly packed, and of course cold. Also I ordered 2 Jalapeño biscuits, one alone and one with gravy, but instead they gave me an egg sandwhich with the biscuits rather than what I wanted. Honestly what was the point of grabbing the receipt if it wasn't going to be read. I did go back after sitting down to eat and seeing the state of my food and ask to speak to the manager, a woman named Abbie. She had not been the one I had seen previously. I explained I just wanted my entire order remade because it was cold, wrong, and squished. She asks for my receipt and i explained they took my receipt when they lost my ticket. She writes down my order and goes to give it to the kitchen. Now is when I hear the shift? From earlier who i assume is working the kitchen, because the manager Abbie tells her about my situation. Now someone has to clearly explain to her that she speaks very loudly and that sound travels when you don't have a door heading to the kitchen, because she asks Abbie was what was wrong she loudly exclaims that the food wasn't cold she has made it like right away. Then Abbie explains about the biscuit and she does admit that was her mistake, but the whole interaction was very immature and frankly disrespectful especially since she could be heard.
Terrible customer service, I had 1 of those receipt coupons that give you a free Whataburger with the purchase of a medium drink and a medium fries, well evidently the coupon is not valid without a code, but the Deer Park location said I didn't need one, that the manager can override it. The Fuqua location took care of me as they always do. I am a La Porte citizen but I will be driving to either Deer Park or Fuqua location from here on out. Very nice people at my new locations. Extremely poor service. Drive-thru was packed, so I went inside—big mistake. Waited 25 minutes with others before anyone helped us. Only one new employee was up front, trying his best but completely ignored by the rest of the staff. Clear lack of management and customer service. When was finally serviced, I did not receive apology for having to wait so long(simply being ignored). Cherry on top all that wait and my order was still wrong! Don’t even confront them about it because there was another line of customers that were again ignored like I was just waiting to be served ……
Visit 021 1/12/2024 Simple order. Me:" sausage, egg biscuit, no cheese 2 packs grape jelly, that's all thank you". Window clerk" would you like cheese with that and double eggs? Me: no thank you." Window clerk: "so that's a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit with no eggs and hash browns" Me: No. "Sausage egg-biscuit no cheese, no hash browns, two packages of jelly, that's all." Me: "and please don't burn the egg thank you." Paid for food departed drive through 0638. Get to job to find strawberry jelly (i'm allergic to strawberries) and a well burnt egg. It really isn't very hard to cook an egg correctly. I would hope that the management would train your employees to cook the eggs correctly. But this isn't the first time I've got a burn egg and it probably won't be the last time I get a burnt egg, because you're the only game in town on my way to work. Maybe I should just go back to the taco truck where they don't get orders incorrect, and they don't try to upsell me. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ 2 Saturdays in a row 630am. Both days ordered double whataburger no tomatoes no lettuce no cheese with extra onions and sliced jalapenos. Get to work and it is a regular whataburger with cheese. Saved receipt today and went back for a refund. Still had to go hungry cause can't eat cheese. No I shouldn't have to inspect my order before leaving that's your job whataburger.
I order a avocado bacon burger. Let me show you what these ppl gave me. That little glob of avocado is all that was on the entire burger. Do better bro. Oh and I got a meal for my kiddo and paid for cheese, they didn’t give him any (yeah he ate some of it anyway but he didn’t want to he said it tasted funny)
