Before I go to super Irvine, I read some competition and jealousy reviews regarding it’s a very expensive supermarket and etc. When I get there, everything was much cheaper than the other Persian supermarket clean and I was very very happy. The owner is the same. Before visiting Super Irvine, I read some negative reviews about it being an expensive supermarket and similar complaints. However, when I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything was much cheaper compared to other Persian supermarkets. The store was also clean and well-maintained, which added to my satisfaction. Interestingly, the owner of the store was the same as the one I had visited before.
I have been a customer of super Irvine for over 20 years since they were in their last location. Just like before, their store is filled with high quality produce, meat and other items, all at a reasonable price. This new location is beautiful and there is plenty of parking for all of their customers.
Love this place. I'm Mexican-American, so it's cool to stop by a place with such a wide variety of products I'm not familiar with. I like trying things that are new to me. Plus, today i got some info about the in store bakery, which I'm definitely going to try next time. A very kind shopper pointed it out. She was purchasing sangak flatbread. Once I asked her about that, she even suggested I try one of her favorite styles of pickle.
This is a very good Persian groceries store with many options of meat and fresh produce. The prices are very reasonable and staff members very friendly. They also have a restaurant for people to dine in or carry out. Food is super delicious. I wish all grocery stores in this country are like this.
Super Irvine came back bigger and better, and very nicely designed. Its like Iranian version of Whole Foods. I love it. Dont listen to some here complaining about small things. 😂 The store was very clean, chic, and it made our family very proud. 👏 May the owners be blessed for opening this market for the community. This is the only market we will shop at going forward to show our support. See photos. The coffee cafe is a MUST, they have healthy Iranian style smoothies, tea and some coffee. Thank you 🙏
We had seen a TikTok review of the store and made sure while in Irvine to visit. The grocery store was clean and organized. Each dept shining in their own way. We had several of our meals from the restaurant. I can’t say enough about the food! Everything was delicious! I can’t say even more tastier than many upscale restaurants we’ve been to. I want to especially thank Eren and Fernando who showed us kindness and excellent service when we went in to get our lunch for our travel back. If I could give 10 stars, I would. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Super Irvine Supermarket is an excellent place to shop. The store is very clean and well maintained, and everything is thoughtfully organized, making it easy to find groceries and household items. The shelves are always neat and fully stocked, which makes shopping efficient and pleasant. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable compared to other markets in the area. Overall, it’s a well-run supermarket with a great balance of cleanliness, organization, and affordability. I highly recommend it.
Halal grocery store : This was my first visit to Super Irvine. Despite the name, it's more accurately located in Mission Viejo than in Irvine. We came on New Year's evening, and the store wasn't crowded. Some items were surprisingly cheap, and there was a great selection of halal meat available with certifications displayed, all at reasonable prices. Overall, it was a satisfying experience, and I’m already planning to visit again soon.
Excellent and unique store. Don't buy domestic product here they're cheaper elsewhere. But so many fun and unique and inexpensive diverse foods hard to find elsewhere.
Yesterday, I had a chance to visit this supermarket. It was one of the best markets I've ever seen in California. Very clean, huge, and beautiful, and you could find everything there. I loved it! 😊
I'm so happy that Super Irvine opened their new location! I was there on opening day -- the parking lot was packed with loyal customers, but they had staff helping everyone find parking, which was great. Inside, there were long lines at the food court and bakery (understandable, given how popular they are). I'm watching my budget these days, so I paid close attention to their prices -- and I have to say, they're very fair. Lastly, I love their new setup! The aisles are wide enough for two shopping carts to pass each other comfortably without getting in the way. Welcome back, Super Irvine!
Great butcher shop and meat market. Prices are much better than American stores down the road. Rotisserie chicken is packaged in foil instead of plastic. The fruits here are also very fresh and reasonably priced.
So thrilled to see this supermarket back—now in a fresh, new spot and better than ever! The new location is bright, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. Aisles are wider, signage is clear, and the selection has noticeably expanded—especially in produce, bakery, and international foods. Prices are still great, and weekly deals are easy to find. Staff are friendly and quick to help. Highlights: -Super clean store with a modern, easy-to-navigate layout -Fresh produce and bakery that actually look and taste fresh -Competitive pricing and well-marked specials -Helpful, welcoming team members -Nice local products and community feel Welcome back—and congrats on the upgrade. This is officially my new go-to grocery store!
I’m so happy that Super Irvine is finally back! It’s been way too long since they closed, and I really missed this place. The new location looks amazing, it’s huge, super clean, and beautifully organized. I love that they’ve added a restaurant, bakery, and coffee shop inside too. It still has that same great vibe and awesome selection I remember. So glad they’re open again!
I was actually pleasantly surprised to see the produce prices being so fair. Also really like how new, clean, and spacious the store is.
AMAZING! Truly the best Persian supermarket in the entire U.S. Super Irvine is on another level. The store is spotless, beautifully organized, and honestly feels like a Persian version of a premium Whole Foods. Everything is incredibly fresh and the prices are surprisingly great. Their produce section is unmatched, their bakery is delicious, the prepared foods taste homemade, and their fresh juices are out of this world. You can find every Persian ingredient you could possibly need plus so many specialty items you don’t see anywhere else. It’s such a pleasant shopping experience every single time. I absolutely love this place!

Welcome back Super Irvine. Lots of Varieties Persian, Middle eastern, Asian, Russian, Jordanian, Greek, Turkish, Latin. Great deals. Plenty of Parking
We are so happy to have place like this in Irvine. Good place and good customer service.
Very good grocery store! Clean, reasonable prices and high quality stuff.
Beautiful and spacious Mediterranean & Middle Eastern theme grocery store. Halal meats
I’m honestly obsessed with this store — it feels like Whole Foods, but with Wholesome Choice prices.

The prices are really good, lots of specials, food was delicious
Great prices and a wonderful selection! Cleanliness is the theme 👍🏽

Market is nice, bright, and clean, with a great selection of Persian foods and a quality meat department! Prices are a bit higher than the Persian market down the street. We also stopped at their restaurant - the Koobideh was flavorful and the ash reshteh was delicious! There was a bit of a wait, but the food arrived piping hot and freshly cooked.
It was my first time in this supermarket. I used to go to their old store in irvine. This store is big, roomy and ha everything you need for daily cooking, cleaning, etc. The meat section or hot food was extensive. We orded chicken kebab to go. It was delicious and reasonable. The fresh produce and bread is fantastic.
I was super excited and anxiously waiting for the reopening of Super Irvine. Went there on the first day but to my disappointment it's not the same as the old one as far as Indian/ Pakistani groceries are concerned . It sure is huge, beautiful and spacious but for me it's a long drive and I would stay with wholesome choice for desi groceries. They did have good and big halal meat section. The Iranian food was just okay , same with the Sangak. I prefer wholesome choice food and Sangak.
very clean and new Mid East grocery store, lot's of nuts and meat can choose, also has fresh Bakery, coffee shop and small food court.
For those who remember, it's bigger and much cleaner than the Super Irvine was on Culver. Lots of choices. But be prepared for a long neverending line at the register!
The check out line distance for carts are way too short. When there's a lot of people, you'll get a pile up and no one can get through the walkway.
Very disappointing, especially when I had experienced the old super Irvine, where I shopped for over a decade. Despite the new look and huge space, it was grossly managed and horribly set up. Nearly impossible to find things, now fluidity, no arrangement. Amazing how they could screw up with so many years of experience. I will not return. Have to go to other Persian groceries to finish my shopping.
I am glad you survived the move. With that said, please make sure you have price tags on "all" shelves and products that need individual pricing. I took a sangak (in a bag) and it rang at $8.49 at the register!!!!! If I hadn't touched it, I would have returned it. (On another note, $8.49 for sangak is hwy robbery!) You are competing with Wholsome Choice now, your restaurant won't make it the way it is now. Food quality/taste is below theirs.
It started with a bang but now looks deserted compared to it's nearby competitor. Reasons in my opinion are higher prices, untrained staff and no rain checks if item out of stock. They even don't update online flyer in time.
It's bigger and cleaner, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's better. It still operates like a typical Persian business—so expect some chaos and long lines. We waited 45 minutes for Sangak bread, and unfortunately, the cashier was ignoring the line and giving priority to her friends. It's the kind of thing you usually see in Middle Eastern shops. Hopefully, management will address this and improve things in the future, though I have my doubts.
I wanted to support Super Irvine after they opened their new store, so I drove an extra 10 minutes to shop there. The store is clean and uncrowded, which I appreciated. I bought around 14–15 tangerines, assuming they were fresh and didn’t inspect them closely. However, when I washed them at home, I discovered that 8–9 of them were rotten. Very disappointing experience. Good bye Super Irvin.

Nice looking store however Very expensive and a bit unorganized. Selection is also limited. Food court was nice.
Today I went to the new location. The meat department had only one employee. The wait was at best a half hour with only 6 people in front of me. Several had large orders that needed to be sliced, trimmed or cut. I only ordered 1 thing. Unfortunately, I had to go back for an additional item, and again found myself waiting well over 25 minutes with only 5 ahead of me. This time there were 2 employees, however one spent 15 minutes cutting a large order. What was supposed to be a quick trip, actually turned into a very aggravating waiting game!
Prices sure did change!!! There food court is extremely expensive from beginning, if I wanted to pay $40 for Soltani plate, I'd dine at a restaurant. I went to the bakery last time I was there and purchased an item for $2.50. It was a very delicious cream puffs so when I went yesterday I was shocked to see that it was $5.35 for the same thing. People are catching on because it wasn't busy. The OG super Irvine was more Persian store.
The restaurant food is good, but the counter is a chaos! Very unorganized in every way, and always messing up the orders! Poor management unfortunately.
The super market in general is clean and staff are nice except the catering and take out section. I ordered 4 cooked white rice and it usually is $2-2.5 each, in other persian super markets and they charged me $ 7.5 here, which it's fine and this is their price. The issue is after 5 min I wanted to cancel my order since it wasn't picked yet, and they didn't accept it and said your order is already cooked which it's a joke. In general, their kabab is not a quality kabab. The catering not recommended.
I got this Mirza Ghasemi from the store, tried it the same night and stomach felt weird. Then I realized an older label existed with an older “sell by” date and likely the expiration date. The new label was just put over the old one and then product is still being sold as of Nov 11th. hard to trust the ethic and the quality after this experience.
Th store has spiked the prices within 2 weeks of opening. They sold asparagus in which caught fungus but the store manager was rude. Wholesome choice is FAR Better in prices, variety and customer support. I was happy they moved to university Dr. but they are overpriced compared to Wholesome Choice.
In my opinion, one of the most important parts of a big store is its food court or restaurant. It should offer good quality and affordable food — just like Costco. But in this store’s restaurant, I found the food quality very poor despite the very high prices. Honestly, the prices feel like a four-star restaurant, but the tables don’t even have a paper napkin or anything else on them. Another issue: I had a shopping cart with me that I spent a lot of time filling with items. When I went to the restaurant to eat, I left my cart in a corner. After finishing my meal, I came back and saw my cart was gone — the staff had taken it and returned all the items to the shelves. I was really upset and disappointed by this behavior. Because of this unprofessional action, I can’t give a good review to this store.
1. Although there were only 8 people before me, it took more than an hour of wait for their sangak (big pancake), unbelievably slow. There is no other better method to get in line in 2025?? 2. Most of the customers there are rude, and whenever you’re about to check out there is always suddenly 2 other people with full basket joined that person at the cashier. Is that a Persian tradition?! 3. The women at the cake cashier only ask two or three Asians to lower their speaking tone not the Persians while the entire kitchen is 100x louder than anyone can hear each other. Does your supermarket not allow people to talk while waiting in line?! 4. The food court is unexpected expensive and every protein is heavily burned which clear caused cancer. Eat at your own risk!
Don't go here! There's no product on the shelves. The prices are way too high and whatever is there is old. The bakery products and pastries were stale. The food was overpriced and uncooked. The cashiers were not knowledgeable and inexperienced. What a disappointment. Go to WHOLESOME CHOICE instead!
Posts something on the ad and something different in store, Okra 1.99 only puts out 5 lbs for the whole store, and the employee refused to bring out more,Not the first time they’ve done this, Everything of the same quality and brand was cheaper in Wholesome choice, bread, meat, produce
This was my first visit to the new Super Irvine. While I was waiting in line, an elderly couple politely asked to replace their burnt chicken. The staff member in charge spoke to them in a tense way, which was surprising to see. I ordered one koobideh and one boneless chicken. When I got home and opened the food, I saw the order was wrong, they gave me chicken koobideh instead of boneless chicken. Maybe the mix-up happened because the atmosphere felt stressful at that moment. Also, the koobideh I received seemed undercooked and low quality, as if it hadn’t been on the grill long enough.
Very bad organized store. Too many mismanaged products and customers over pouring inside and outside. Long waiting lines at checkout. Serious parking problem. I was waiting in checkout for half hour and then, like many others, I had to leave my shopping cart and leave. 90% very expensive shelf food. Few vegetables were on sale but otherwise its all at Irvine Area price. Instead Crown Valley Market Place in Mission Viejo is better.
I had a very disappointing experience with the take-out restaurant at Super Irvine and do not recommend it, especially for events or gatherings. I ordered koobideh kebab for a Yalda Night dinner with guests. The kebabs were raw inside (red and undercooked in the middle), extremely poor in quality, and fell apart completely when touched with a fork. It was very embarrassing to serve this food to guests. We returned the remaining food and were promised a full refund, but no refund was issued after two days. When we followed up in person, we were told that management would only refund a few skewers, which was unfair and unprofessional. Overall, very poor food quality, poor customer service, and failure to honor their promise. I would not recommend this place for ordering food, especially for important occasions.
After months of waiting for Super Irvine to reopen, I visited on their fourth day back in business to try their hot Persian food. I ordered the Ghaimeh Bademjoon for $18, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The quality was poor, and the portion size was closer to a sample than a meal. It appeared that the dish was assembled from different containers—boiled meat taken from one, a single eggplant added from another, and a small amount of split peas mixed with a generous amount of sauce from a third. Overall, the dish lacked both authenticity and cohesion.
