Tip: Visit during happy hour for fantastic pricing on drinks and moderately priced plates great for sharing. Carlos, the bartender, has great recommendations.
Everything we ordered was just perfect! So impressed with the service, warmth decor, appetizers, drinks and main courses for our group of 4.
4/5/24 newly opened Legends provides a classy jazzy atmosphere with a great happy hour in a sophisticated setting. Fantastic pricing on happy hour drinks with top rated brands and moderately priced “not so small” plates, which are great for sharing. We very much enjoyed the happy hour, the quality and quantity of the food offered, and the service. We will definitely be back. wishing the new owners and this restaurant great success.
We have enjoyed happy hour a few times now. The food is really good and the service is fast and friendly. Carlos the bartender had great recommendations and poured some great drinks. I love my Moscow mule and lemon drop. We had the scallops, clams and chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich is big and very tasty. The restaurant is very clean and bathrooms are also very clean. Happy hour starts at 3 to 6 and the older crowd loves it. The dinner menu looks great. I really enjoy a good steak and seafood dinner. This is a fairly new place and a great addition to the local restaurant's. This is very close to my home. Parking is an open lot in a multi use parking lot. No issues parking.
2/14/2026 What an amazing Valentine's Day dinner with my lovely wife and our best friends Julie and Roc tonight at Legends. The ambiance was special and the view of the hills terrific. The hostesses were very nice and welcoming and sat us at a gorgeous window table. Zach was our amazing server. Zach was professional, kind and efficient. We started with drinks and good conversation and a toast to a wonderful evening. My wife ordered the Branzino di Campo Chimichurri which she loved, Julie had the Risotto De La Mama and I had that entree as well, which was also excellent. Roc had a specialty salad which he enjoyed. The mojito, martini and of course my Don Julio 1942 were all excellent. Great service by all staff and a special thanks to Zach for his amazing attention to detail, the long stem roses for the ladies and his special photography skills. Highly recommended! 3/16/2025 Had a wonderful dinner with friends this evening at Legends. We started with drinks and dinner salads. My wife had the filet of sole entree, our friend Julie had the ahi poke, our friend Roc had the pepperoni pizza and I had the lobster enchiladas. Eden was our wonderful server and was kind, attentive and professional. An ice cream treat was brought out for Julie's birthday celebration and I had a cappuccino with Julie having a chocolate martini. Did I mention we started with some great tequilla drinks. So so good. Highly recommended and the ambiance and view are both stellar. 2/8/2025 What an amazing dining experience. This place is excellent. Great service, food and ambiance. Eden was our server and was kind and very efficient. We started with Cesar salad and of course our famous Don Julio Blanco with club soda and three limes muddled with mint and our friends had wine and a whisky sour. For dinner my wife had the filet of sole scampi and I had the filet de la casa- filet mignon. Our friends had the salmon and chicken. For dessert we shared the beignets with home made Gelato and a cup of coffee. Everything was wonderful and we so enjoyed our time there. Highly recommended. Previous visit What a fantastic dining experience. We stopped in and were seated at a nice table in the dining room. Zack was our amazing server and was professional, efficient and friendly. We started with drinks and my wife had the skinny Margarita and I had the mezcal and tequila cocktail on the menu. Both drinks were fantastic. We ordered the eggplant appetizer and a house salad. Both were perfect. The fresh bread was warm and tasty. We also recieved service from Polo and Gerardo at the table with water refills, bread, plate clearing and follow-up. Everything was fantastic. The musicians played some very good tunes and had a great sound. For our entrees my wife had the halibut entree and I had the swordfish entree. Both dishes were well prepared, presented and served hot and tasty. Excellent people, food, ambiance and music. Highly recommended.
Great neighborhood find off Niguel Road. We arrived early for dinner and were promptly seated by window. Waitress and staff were friendly, decor is fresh and modern. Has separate bar area and outdoor seating. Great happy hour menu. Our bill with tip was just over $200 for 2 people and included 3 cocktails, a shared salad, 2 entrees and a shared dessert.
We had dinner with the family at Legends in Laguna Niguel and the food and service was legendary. The menu had a great selection for every family member. I highly recommend this new steakhouse and look forward to returning. Last but not least the ambience and views from the dinning area were fantastic.
I really enjoyed this place. I thought the food was great, the service was excellent. All I got to say about that:)!
We had an incredible anniversary dinner. First, delicious scallops and crab cake for appetizers. Then main dishes. The stroganoff was amazing, as was the ribeye with added lobster tail. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Love this restaurant! The food was incredible and so was the service. My husband and I would definitely go back for another date night.
Pleasantly surprised to find this wonderful place. I hope our community supports them and they stay in business for a long time.

Exceptional service! Amazing food! Presented beautifully and tastes delicious!
The food is very well prepare - everything we ordered was delicious. The service is attentive and our server, Ricardo, provided useful information on the dishes we ordered. We are looking forward to dining here again soon.
My son and I had a wonderful happy hour here on Friday. Generous portions of unique bites, not the run of the mill stuff. Generous portions satisfied my dinner appetite with two dishes: carpaccio and ceab cake. My son with a really big appetite went for 2 servings of octapus, also a capaccio. We ordered bread and martinis and had a great time at a very modest price. Attentive waitstaff. I sabell return.
I love this restaurant. The service and the food is always top notch. It is definitely one of our go to for brunch, happy hour and dinner.
Fabulous Steaks, Seafood and Pasta! On one side is an elegant and stylish restaurant... a casually posh Bar and Lounge on the other. On occasion, they have a Torch Song Singer accompanied by a great Pianist. Food is Fantastic and super reasonably priced! Great romantic place for First Dates and old Couples still in love.

Food was delicious and service was great however the tomahawk steak we were told was as a special for 2 people, was amazing in flavor, but in portions was underwhelming to say the least. Would definitely recommend this restaurant however as they have a great menu and atmosphere.

Our food was delicious. I had a steak and my wife had lamb chops. The dining room is very loud when they're busy, uncomfortably so. Not a lot of ambiance.
The food was fantastic, well prepared, flavorful, with great presentations. Service could have been more attentive. Attention, to our eating pace and conversation should have been observed, rather than pushing our main course on top of our salads. Especially considering the facility was not full. Neither of us drink alcohol, so the server was not proactive to keep our glasses full of our ordered sparkling water. Big NEGATIVE, water glasses and wine glasses, we not clean and smelled foul. My date pointed it out, she was completely correct. She asked for another clean glass that was no better. I looked at another tables glasses, to verify the condition, NO better at all, it was that visual observable. Possibly their white wine masked the oder? The rinse water for the glass was obviously was dirty. Considering the quality of the restaurant it was very disappointing. A final rinse with clean hot water a touch of vinegar would leave the glasses clean, a final polish with a clean towel and lemon juice would be leave the glasses with a top notch finish.

A very comfortable, relaxed place to have a drink and dinner. My filet and veg we're quite good, cooked alttle unevenly, but very enjoyable. My wife's octopus starter and fish were overcooked for her taste but flavorful. The wait staff was very helpfull. We'll definitely try this again.
This is a neighborhood steak house. I don’t think it’s going to win any awards. My mate ordered the Short Ribs and we were asked how we would like that. We asked the waitress, short ribs are usually already cooked. She said OK, then we will go with chefs recommendation. OK. Then it really bugs be when a waitress does not tell you the “specials”. We had to hear about them from another waiter behind us. The shorts ribs seemed more like pot roast with some kind of brown gravy over them. I had the Ciopino and just lacked flavor. The drinks were good, even though I thought the Paper Plane was a little sweet. This is a very casual place. Think Outback.

I got tomahawked at Legends! I wanted a ribeye for about $60, waiter recommended a tomahawk ribeye, I ordered it, and it cost $159. I just got scalped!
Valentine’s Day Experience – Very Disappointing Service I went to Legends Seafood & Steakhouse on Valentine’s Day, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience due to the attitude of the older gentleman who greeted us at the front – who I assume was the manager. From the moment we arrived, his demeanor was condescending and unprofessional. I had no idea the restaurant had two seating sides – one formal and one informal – as this was my first time there. I wanted to sit on the formal side, but he insisted that it “depends on when I made the reservation” to decide where I could sit, which was a complete lie. After I insisted, he begrudgingly seated us, but his attitude was awful from that point forward. The entire meal was overshadowed by his smart-aleck remarks. When we ordered drinks, he sarcastically laughed and mocked me about not ordering a bottle of champagne and just ordering ice tea . Then, while seating us at a corner table (where I chose to sit close to my husband), he proceeded to make snide comments about how the table was positioned for easier service, and that I was in the way. All of this was said with a tone of sarcasm that made me feel like I was being treated like a nuisance, even though I was simply trying to enjoy a meal with my husband. At one point, I mentioned that I had worked in high-end hospitality at the Ritz, and his response was to get defensive and dismissive. It was clear he didn’t care about providing a positive experience for us. Honestly, the whole interaction left me so frustrated that I nearly walked out – but I didn’t want to leave without paying for the food I already ordered. This person completely ruined what should have been a special evening. His lack of professionalism and respect made me never want to return to this restaurant. I’ve had much better experiences at other places with far better customer service, and I will definitely be sharing my experience with others. In the fairness to the restaurant the food was excellent and it had wonderful rich flavors, and we had complimentary dessert because I think the person knew that he went too far and tried to smooth it over .
