I have gone about a week ago and I just wanna say I’ve been thinking about the coffee that girl had made me ever since, it was such a delightful and a delicious coffee. Me and her both came up with the recipe on the spot, it was a hazel latte with a cold foam and a caramel drizzle. the girl was so lovely and welcoming, and we had a lovely chat, I hope she well credited for her hard work
Excellent staff. Food, especially sandwiches can be like having your own chef at home. They switch them up. Cranberry muffins are uniquely great. The catering trays are also uniquely beautiful. Great place for weekly away from the job site meetings.
I like Corner Bakery Cafe in general. This one is elegant and nicely decorated. You can always choose between chips and Caesar salad 🥗 as a side for the same price. The roast beef 🥩 sandwich 🥪 is top for my taste. Tables outside the restaurant need to be cleaned 🧼 before using; they are not clean. The five star rating doesn’t take service into account is self service and semi-self service restaurants. Thanks to Katheryn for being responsive.
The customer service is amazing at this location! The gals are so accommodating and courteous from the minute you walk in to order. Love this place.
Healthy, but tasty food ! Nice patient service! Great for families bc grandma can be rolled up through the door and to the table easily. Cranberry muffin and cinnnamon rolls are big with lots of cinnamon.
It's always been consistent every time I go. Never had a problem and the quality of fish is great!
Lunch tacos are flavorful. The menu is automated for your personal selection. I tried one each of three taco choices. Avoiding breaded and fried food, the Cajun Shrimp and Cajun Fish tacos were very good and filling. The grilled chicken was taken to-go because the tacos are nicely filled, not street tacos. Hara hachi bu. The shrimp and avocado salad looked good although they use a substantial amount of dressing.
AXEL was great! Super fast and eager/willing to help. My wife was being a ‘lil needy on the kiosk and he wasn’t phased in the least bit…he even offered us a complimentary drink when I forgot to order it and went back to order it separately and pay. He said “don’t worry about it,” and handed me a cup…it was a small gesture that spoke volumes about his customer service ethic! THANK YOU!
Really delicious fish grill place. The aroma of freshly grilled fish wafts through the air, enticing passersby to stop and savor the flavors. Diners gather around rustic wooden tables, sharing laughter and stories while enjoying their meals. The menu boasts a variety of fish, each prepared with unique marinades and spices that highlight the freshness of the catch. As the sun sets, the ambiance transforms, creating a perfect setting for a memorable dining experience.
The food taste, quality, portion, menu and price were super. Saw 3 people in this very small yet quaint restraunt, but appeared more like fast food. Yet "SEABASS" was on menu. And choice swai, cod or whitefish for "fish n chips". All plate came with 2 sides and a drink. Cost under $60!! Again, super all around. Other patrons left no tip for the table clearing. We left $10 Worth it!
Brilliant!! Absolutely brilliant. Walking in feels like you’re at chipotle. But then you can see into the kitchen and you see that everything is being prepared and not unpacked. I had the branzino(fish) with Brussels sprouts and asparagus and I can say, this is one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a long time. Out of my meal the Brussel sprouts are my favorite part of the meal. So so delicious. I paid $26.00 and at first it feels pricy, but you need to remember it’s not fast food.
For a good fresh fish meal, I like this place. Everything is made fresh. They recently added some new dishes and the new salmon miso plate is excellent. I like it with the sweet and spicy sauce which is not too spicy but just right amount to go with the fish and not overpower it. Try it on the miso kale slaw and order the tomatoes with Grier cheese on the side. Sounds odd mixing a sweet and spicy sauce with miso and Grier cheese but trust me, it is so good. Warning, the place gets crowded around dinner time, but you know the food is good. If you have time for a later dinner around 7:00pm, the crowd is usually gone by then and there is no wait. My son loves the fried calamari and my daughter the ahi poke. But try the salmon or the mahi mahi like I mentioned with the sauces. You will be surprised how tasty it is.
Food and ambiance were amazing! The flavors are on the spot and the full dinner set feel healthy, fresh and pleasant to eat. I need to give this place a shoutout for making high quality seafood at affordable prices. I ordered grilled shrimp and avocado with kale salad and feta cheese, and is one of the best choices on the menu (in my opinion). We also ordered a few fish and shrimp tacos to share and a side of their new chimichurri Parmesan fries. All of them were fantastic and feel they are from a premium restaurant instead of a quasi fast food chain.
Corner Bakery, My first choice for a bakery cafe after Paris Baguette before Panera's. Now that Mimi's is not made fresh to order like before, I seldom get there.
If you want some comfort food, this is a good choice. The kids love their Mac and cheese and Tuscan Grilled Cheese sandwiches. There's nothing fancy about their dishes, but you also don't get any surprises. I've been to this place a few times, and they are consistent with the food and always have great attitudes. It can get pretty packed on weekends.
Back on October 3rd, Corner Bakery Cafe celebrated World Smile Day by offering FREE Smile Coffee Mugs + a year of FREE Coffee!!! Now I've never tried Corner Bakery Cafe before, so this was the best opportunity for me to try it for the first time!! I was informed that the FREE Coffee options include only hand roasted coffee and not the specialty drinks lol lattes and mochas, which is fine! The coffee that they do have to give away is nice and rich and warm! I'm still new to the Coffee Game but I don't have my complaints so far! After joining Corner Bakery Rewards, they also offer their NEW members a coupon to redeem a FREE Sweet Treat! I ended up trying out their Chocolate Baby Bundt Cake which paired as a nice dessert to go along with my coffee! Thanks Corner Bakery for the promotion! Now I can't stop drinking coffee lol. I look forward to trying out new items from the menu too!! 4/5!!!
I've been here two other times and got the fish and chips and it was excellent. The coating was like a tempura texture crispy but light. This time, the fish was very overcooked, and it seemed like the coating on the fish had changed. It was more like breaded pork chops . I'll try this place one more time. Hopefully this was just a one time bad night for the cook
"My whole review is a direct result of the dramatic downgrade to the fish & chips. The photo shows their old style, which was consistently delicious and scrumptious—it was the single biggest reason our family dined here weekly. Really, I genuinely wondered if the restaurant had run out and purchased a temporary replacement for the night. Then AGAIN a disappointing visit. Just to make sure, a month later it was the same gross fish & chips. The new offering is an out-of-the-box, frozen product that is slimy, slippery, and unpleasantly barely a crispy crunch. Now to my surprise and dismay, confirming that the low-quality fish & chips are now the standard. (boo-hoo) Honestly, California Fish Grill has a great customer base, but that is no excuse to downgrade what they are serving. I am sure it's just business, and maybe they can't get the same fish contract. BUT, they know that THEY chose a lesser product. While California Fish Grill has a loyal customer base, this is no excuse to serve a noticeably inferior product. I understand this might be a business decision related to a new contract or cost-cutting. However, management knew they were choosing a lesser-quality product. Regrettably, neither I nor my family will be returning. I truly believed I had a long-term commitment with California Fish Grill, but that commitment has ended RIP my 'favorite Fish & Chips.'"
A small and somewhat cramped venue that can get very crowded. First time eating here. Ordered the Cajun salmon tacos with an extra skewer of shrimp (extra cost) along with asparagus (extra cost) and rosemary zucchini. The tacos were tasty, but the salmon was way overcooked and dry. Too bad really. The tacos were still decent. Shrimp skewer was cooked properly and had some nice spice. Overall I would eat here again but not at busy times. In a large shopping center and parking can be difficult. Place was clean and staff was friendly..
I recently stopped by here to grab lunch and I was surprised with the quality of food and everything else. I haven’t dined here in years and I used to love CFG it has always been my favorite healthy casual food that doesn’t break the bank. However, in the recent years I noticed the quality of food dropped significantly so I stopped going there but now I hope they keep it this way. Service is good but more communication is needed and perhaps more employees as they seemed to be short staffed.
I've gotten food from here twice now for lunch during work, and both times, it was absolutely delicious. The first time, they got my fish taco order spot on. The only thing they forgot was the limes I asked for, which would have put my fish tacos that much more over the top, but they were still delicious nonetheless. The second time I got fish tacos from them again, and that time, they forgot my kale slaw, which sucked because it was one of my chosen sides, but it wasn't the end of the world. I contacted them via their website, and they refunded me a portion of my total for forgetting the kale slaw, which I really appreciate as a customer. Besides the small snafus, the food was delicious and an amazing deal for two fish tacos, two sides, and a drink. I have to add their strawberry mint water is SO good! I definitely would recommend trying it if you're going to eat at the California Fish Grill.
Craving for seafood, satisfied! - Grilled Atlantic Salmon Always a favorite. Huge pieces! Took some home. - Hawaiian Shrimp Trio Island inspired Coconut Shrimp with Grilled Hawaiian BBQ Glazed Shrimp Skewer & Giant Shrimp. So delish and buttery! My favorite was the Coconut Shrimp 🍤 The rosemary zucchini was a little too mushy for me. Tomato and Feta is a great side option. - Cajun Salmon Tacos Salmon rubbed in Cajun seasoning with roasted corn, a green goddess drizzle, topped with cabbage mix, diced tomato, cilantro and pickled onion. - Ahi Poke Sashimi-grade ahi, tossed in poke dressing, topped with a Green Goddess dressing and served with house-made tortilla chips. Could have used a little less dressing. A little watery. Green Goddess dressing had good flavor. It didn’t come with my order so I had to wait a bit for it to show up.
When I rolled up there were a few groups of people gathered around self service screens. Not a cashier in sight. I went to the only free screen and started my order. I was halfway through when a cashier showed up. "I can take your order." Well, no. I'm halfway through my order. I can just finish. The cashier then wanted to help the other groups of people. They all pile over to the cashier and stand on top of me while I rush to finish my order. I like the self serve screens. I don't like being rushed. I think the problem could be fixed by moving the order touchscreen away from the cashier.
Great potential for this place. Atmosphere felt good, prices are very reasonable and the food was good. The way the service was set up its what gives this place a bad look. You have to order your food at the cashier for everything you want. There's no waitress seeing if you want anything. When the food is ready you have to pick up your food its not taken to you. I feel that if they added table service it would be a lot more appealing 👍
This location is located inside a shopping center area where there are variety of food to choose from. The parking at this California fish grill is easy to access at night. The food is awesome however the service was a little bit lagging. I order a dish that took me 15 minutes to get my food. I am wondering why does it take so long when there is not a lot of people ordering. Could have done better by speeding up on cooking the food.
Ahi poke appetizer was different from the one I had before. Maybe the different locations have a different spin on it? Regardless, this one was flavorful and tasty. My white fish was a little overcooked but still good. Didn't care too much for the ahi, but my coworker loved it. Sea bass had too much burnt skin on one side. Also, I've never seen a CA fish grill put your fish on top of your sides for every plate. My coworker got sweet potato fries and brussel sprouts. The sprouts had balsamic on it and it really ruined the sweet potato fries. Also the combination of the fish on top made them soggy. I asked for extra garlic butter twice because this location seemed to give the least amount even when I asked for it initially.
Typical fast food chain that is solely existing on it name and previous fame of fresh baked goods. The food was borderline gross. None of baked goods were fresh or delicious. The fresh bundt cake was hard and dry. The brownies which were made this morning werea till cold from sitting in the fride. And the store itself was dirty, plates left over from previous guest. Maybe understaffed but still no excuse. I will not be coming back this Corber Baker.
NOT a fan of the new "order only on the computer" system, thus completely missing the friendly vibe I've enjoyed in the past. Stick to the proven tried and true--let people order via a real person behind the counter.
Can't review the food because the staff were busy filling to-go orders and asked us to wait. We never had a chance to order anything. They said we should use the kiosk, which wasn't working. So we left. Seems like a mismanaged store.
The food definitely taste highly processed, obviously heated from frozen. However the service is great people are friendly It was not the cleanest place I have been, but not horrible either.
I went to grab something to eat, and I asked the cashier to make sure the french fries hot and fresh. They brought the food and the fries. The fries was not fresh as I requestedsoggy. I talked to the cashier manager came. She insist the fries was fresh. I showed her how saggy is the fries I asked for money I do not recommend This location specially if the manager there never coming back. December 2/time 12:45
