Boom Chicken

I have an affinity to the Lancaster location, the owners very welcoming, let us not forget Tursday is .60 cent wing day. An array of flavors to choose from. A welcoming new restaurant to add to the Antelope Valley.

I thought I would try this new chicken shop out that just opened up in Lancaster. Went in with low expectations and came out blown away. It is very simple to distinguish quality from trash, as chicken shops these days come a dime a dozen. From what I observed, it appears that Boom Chicken uses fresh ingredients all around. The chicken wings were on point!!....straight fire! You get to choose from a myriad of flavors and there are options aplenty. My favorites were the louisiana rub, lemon pepper, and the cajun. The chicken had the perfect balance between sauce and crisp. Not too overpowering or salty and not a pile of cheap quality oil drenched in frozen wings that other shops are known for pushing. This chicken was different. 100% fresh, not frozen and high quality, tender, juicy meat. The food has that korean chicken type of vibe going for it that you find in popular chicken shops around ktown. Even the chicken breast options were ridiculously tender and melt in your mouth. I tried the spicy chicken sandwich as well and it was absolutely delicious. A huge chunk of juicy and incredibly tender/moist meat lightly fried to golden perfection. It's the type of sandwich you can legit sell for $12.99 at a shop out in Silverlake. Now back to Boom Chicken, I feel that the owner put a lot of love and care into showcasing quality food, fresh ingredients, a clean quaint atmophere, friendly staff, and a desire to satisfy the customer. The owner is such a sweet lady. Her employees seem to legit respect and get along with her and the owner even greets people as they come in. Most importantly, the commitment to excellence really shows through in the Food. If you're in Lancaster and having a chicken fix, then try this place out. Food is bomb and the prices are not bad at all.

Really like the wings. Well cooked and well sauced. I usually get onion rings as a side and I'm always pleased. Service is great. A nice alternative to the larger wing places.

Great place always satisfied... I paid for a drink and left too fast then lost the receipt and after a few weeks went on and placed and ordered.... I let the lady know ave she couldn't replace the drink which I didn't swear it because I lost the receipt... But the guy I paid (chapo) remembered me another day and replaced it...great job guys very honorable business.

Had to leave a comment today because the Employees at boom chicken were just so nice and the food is so good recommend 10 out of 10!!

This place is better than wingstop! (To me) they give u all flats food is fresh & its not big bloated chicken!! I like the size of the chicken doesnt look like its been all injected w steriods & whatever else

Good boneless chicken. Original Korean Spicy & Honey BBQ are great. Fried pork dumplings (Mandoo in Korean) are tasty!

The Honey BBQ chicken wings were delicious!! I will definitely be recommending my friends to this place. The staff were nice too.

Boom chicken lives up to its name. They have a very simple menu packed full of flavor. You can choose from chicken wings, chicken, tender, chicken sandwich, and they have a different and very unique flavors. I got a 10 piece chicken wing which comes with two flavors, the flavors I chose was soy garlic, and Buffalo. I was very happy with my selection, and these two will be my default from now on. I am going to come back and try every flavor, and I suggest you do the same.

Okay, this is my favorite place to get wings in the AV. I have tried almost all the flavors and each of them are delicious. For sides I usually stick to fries and once I did try the onion rings and I didn’t like them but nevertheless the food is still delicious. The only problem I have is I wish they weren’t so stingy with the ranch. I don’t mind paying for more but I just wished the ranch containers were filled more. Every so often I receive a container with little ranch and the rest is air. Also please bring back the Asian zing Flavor…it was so good and people were really missing out.

Think of this place as a premium fried chicken restaurant. They do wings and tenders only but it is cooked perfectly. The have unique sauces that are very good. They have many sides but I only tried the onion rings which were very good. The one downside is they are a little expensive but the quality is so good that I am definitely going back. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone especially if you love wings.

This place is so good that even though they got my order wrong one time I wasn't even mad cause it all tastes so delicious!

Just perfect little packages in a thin and crispy coat. They are a tad on the smaller size, but quality over quantity. Now the quality can vary sometimes, but 95% of the time the chicken is perfect. These also taste much better when fresh so eat them ASAP. Service could be feel bit more professional, but they're so busy sometimes so I'll let that slide. I also tell my friends in LA that this chicken is on par or better than lot of other korean chicken places in Ktown.

Great little place. The chairs are a little uncomfy for the wide-bottomed, however the food is delicious, and the unique breading at Boom Chicken is scrumptious, thick enough and perfectly crisped enough to be mistaken for fried chicken skin. The boneless wings are juicy chunks of real unprocessed chicken, and the value per wing is pretty comparable to competitors. I shall be returning, and bringing friends.

Good food. Wings are not drenched in oil like most places. Can taste the flavor. You can eat without dipping into ranch sauce.

Ordered 3 strips that took almost 30 minutes to come out. Probably some of the better chicken in east lancaster, but people not from lancaster won't be impressed.

Pre-COVID, this place was sooo good! I tried their wings Tonight, mind you craving them for months and they are subpar, overcooked, fried pieces of bone. Big disappointment.

I've been to Boom in Lancaster it a nice place the chicken is good the only thing l dont like is they dont serve the drums of the chicken its all flats. Oh an the service is good.🤔 it depends who is taking ur order.ijs.

Wings were good they were just skinny I ordered a good amount of wings, I only got legs no thighs.. my fries were hard and my soda was flat, will probably just be ordering from the Palmdale store from now on..

Be careful calling in orders. The lady that answered sounded like I was annoying her by calling, and didn't confirm my order, which of course was wrong. Ordered strips and got wings. The food is great, but the service is usually lacking.

Second time ordering out here via Uber Eats. First time the chicken was good but the amount of sauce was a little much. Decided to give it another shot and this time the order was incomplete. Won’t be a third time…

So disappointing 😞. I was so excited to try it and everything was over seasoned. The coleslaw was salty. Everything was just salty. Service was great but the food was terrible. 1st and last time trying it 👎

Guy that took my order, gave me a huge attitude. I ordered a 15-piece wing that came with two orders of fries and two drinks. I also ordered some chicken tenders that came with fries and a drink. I asked them three times if my order was correct. I only got 15 wings without any fries and the chicken tenders and those came with fries and they missed one of my drinks. It's one thing to be rude to somebody. but not get their order right,I felt like they did it on purpose. they only get one star from me.

I call in all the time to order large orders and since it’s a large amount of food I pay over the phone never have a problem . Well I tried to call the other day and my call didn’t go through long story short I had someone else call and the all goes through no problem and so I try to explain to the gentlemen over the phone that why isn’t my number go through and he explained that my number was blocked and that if I wanted to place a order I had to come in the store ? And I told him I always pay ahead of time and sign for it when I get there I have never placed a order and paid and not came so I’m not understanding why I’m being treated as such . They lost there business with me never going to order food for my coworkers here again .

Nope! This place is too high to be serving burnt over cooked boneless wings. I ordered an 8 piece Louisiana rub and all the chicken was burnt. Actually I placed a very large order but my chicken was nasty. This makes the second time this happen. Won’t be a 3rd never again.

This was the worst service I've ever experienced, the wings are not the problem, as I explained who would go through all this for a ten piece wing. Steven then stated he has customers to attend to and hung the phone. I will not visit again, I work in customer service and understand ESPECIALLY during these times how important service is. Completely unprofessional and poor service. Extremely
