Recommended place, more than good food and simple but high-quality dishes, welcoming atmosphere, and very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended!
A restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff! Careful selection of seasonal ingredients and very good dishes. The polenta is served straight from the pot, delicious! At the end of the meal, they offered us chestnuts, unexpected and delicious!
Today for lunch at a table of five. In fact, they were very kind to add a fifth person to the table I mentioned last minute. We've known this restaurant for a long time, and that's precisely why I decided to bring my partner and my parents. I also had a wonderful birthday party there in the past, with a delicious cake they made. We ate wonderfully. The lady was always very helpful, as were all the waitresses. I wanted to thank you for the wonderful experience I made. Everyone complimented us. It wasn't the first time, and it won't be the last. You're great. Thank you, Mr. Filippo and Elisabetta.
We had lunch here with the family on a Sunday. Highly recommended. The food is excellent, the service is precise and attentive, and the atmosphere is refined and comfortable. We had lunch with a selection of four appetizers, first courses, polenta concia, and desserts. Everything was excellent, especially the polenta concia...one of the best I've ever eaten. Dog-friendly place 🐕🦺
It's been a while since I've been to this restaurant, but as I mentioned, it's worth it! I love the atmosphere, the way it's managed, and the food! I promised myself I'd return soon! I recommend trying the mixed antipasto; it's excellent value. Unfortunately, there wasn't a rib-eye steak, but I remember it was excellent!
A magnificent, artfully restored farmhouse. We ate a trio of excellent antipasti, followed by polenta concia served in a cauldron with sausage and sauce. While waiting for coffee, we had four watermelon tips, coffee, two grappas, and two other specials. Excellent wine list. I spent between the two of us what I would spend alone elsewhere. Impeccable service; from the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. My compliments.
Located in Lanzo Torinese, its cuisine transports us to times gone by, where the flavors of a bygone era were unique to the area. This traditional restaurant boasts a warm atmosphere and a wonderful terrace where you can relax in this peaceful area where time seems to stand still. Its home-style, well-prepared cuisine at a good price and quality will definitely make your visit one you'll want to return. They masterfully prepare polenta in various forms (plain, concia, or with sausage), delighting even those palates not quite accustomed to this typical northern Italian dish. The menu offers Piedmontese cuisine, and it's worth trying everything because you won't find those flavors in other areas. Its extensive wine list offers high-quality Barolo, Barbaresco, and Dolcetto wines at reasonable prices. We praise the staff for their warm, friendly, and welcoming approach. We felt very comfortable in a very special setting. 100% recommended for exploring Turin and its delicious food! Thank you!
A lovely restaurant in Lanzo serving Piedmontese cuisine with local products. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding, and you can tell they're not mass-produced. The atmosphere is very refined and homey, and the small size makes reservations a good idea. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The portions aren't large, but they allow you to order multiple courses and sample different specialties. We ate wonderfully; everything was excellent, from the turgid potatoes and fondue appetizer to the polenta concia with game and sausage, and the gnocchi with blue cheese and mocetta. A truly wonderful experience, with prices in line with the quality offered. We'll definitely be back.
It was 2 PM and we were worried they'd tell us it was too late, but instead they very kindly set up a table for us and sat us down. The place is very beautiful and traditional Piedmontese, with a varied and extensive menu. Since my girlfriend is vegetarian, they changed her trio of appetizers, not with the usual cheese and herb platters like everywhere else, but by modifying what was already there and adding a flan that wasn't on the menu. The dishes were good and the portions were large enough to keep you hungry. The bread basket also included some very good corn crackers. The price was fair. We'll definitely be back!
A trattoria that brings a smile to your face. A very well-kept location, with carefully prepared and delicious dishes, and reasonable prices. The bread and breadstick basket, which arrived as soon as we sat down, offered spectacular breadsticks, corn crackers, and homemade bread. Truly very satisfied.
Wonderful place!! Housed in an old sawmill. Very unique decor. Fast, courteous and very attentive service. We were really very satisfied, the food is excellent, generous portions, served in a very unique way, and with unique pots, like very cute copper pots. We loved it, absolutely worth trying. Parking available both inside the courtyard and immediately around the place.
We found this restaurant by chance... and I must say, it couldn't have been better! A charming and quaint place, the staff were knowledgeable and helpful, and the food was excellent! Two treats we particularly enjoyed: the basket with breadsticks, bread, crackers (really delicious!), and, to finish, the dried fruit and lychees. The quality/price ratio was very good. Finally, the dessert was also very popular: pears cooked in wine with mulled wine ice cream, finally a dessert different from the classics. If you're passing through this area, you absolutely must stop by; highly recommended.
