i stopped here on a roadtrip and it’s by far the best service i’ve gotten. they don’t skimp and are really friendly. they served me fresh fajitas and guac which was so nice because i’ve been given sour guac before at other locations.

I've seen both sides of this chipotle, but it's definitely one of the better tasting ones in the area. If you're kind to the employees they treat you very well. Met someone In management while I was there today and he was nice enough to let me try some of the new Adobo sauce for free. It was very good! This spot can get really busy really fast so the one thing I would recommended to management is to have employees prep more regularly. When I've gone eaten in during a slower time I've seen it quickly change and then the employees are down people in the line because they are prepping what probably could've been prepped in the slower time. Greta job chipotle!

This is the best Chipotle location I've ever been to, across multiple states! I live closer to the Manteca location but the quality & size of their burritos are so poor, I drive to this one instead. The burritos are HUGE, and they don't skimp! Plus the employees are very kind. Keep up the great work (:

I was very delighted eating at this restaurant. At least 10 healthy items are on my plate right now but unfortunately it is all covered by a lettuce. As a result, it doesn't make it visually attractive. However, i am very satisfied with the meal and would like to say thanks to all 7 associates that were working at the restaurant when i was there. Also, all 9 customers that were in this restaurant seem to have enjoyed their meal as well.

One of the best Chipotles we’ve been to in a while. They definitely load you up with a healthy serving size in person! So glad we stopped and also, first time seeing a Chipotle with a drive-thru.

We arrived a little before the lunch time rush. However, due to the new construction 🚧 in this area, the restaurant and drive thru were packed. These hard-working Chipotle employees work fast, but they are all working in sync. We were in and out fast, and as always, the meat is cooked right. All the flavors 😋 marinate so well. I had the chicken 🐔 protein salad 🥗

I could tell that the guacamole didn’t have the avocado fully mashed up, and there were chunks in the cheese. But I think these are just training issues and I imagine will go away over time. I would recommend this location

One of the better Chipotle's I've been to, so surprised by the lower star rating. Chips aren't seasoned with enough salt and lime though. Other than that, definitely worth getting out your over-leased truck from the drive thru and actually walking (very scary word in the suburbs) inside.

We had a very average Chipotle experience. We were on a long round trip, and made a pit-stop at this location around 6 pm. The food was good as expected. However, we noticed that the dining area of the restaurant was not that clean, though the bathroom was cleaner than the dining area. The service was only okay. Overall, it seemed like the folks working needed coffee to get going (and clean up the dining area). We ate on their outside dining area, which was clean. Overall, it was not a terrible experience, but it was unexpectedly not that good (compared to our previous Chipotle visits) due to the unclean dining area inside and average service.

Atmosphere and customer service are as expected. My issue with Chipotle is their portions are very inconsistent. Very minimal meat I often find myself ordering double meat and being upset with myself having to spend the extra money for something I feel should be adequately proportioned as a standard.

Got a burrito bowl to go and was very disappointed with the lack of chicken in the bowl. I literally counted 5 pieces of chicken. Who freakin does that? I lazy worker I imagined. Anyway, I'll make sure to watch them next time and ask for more. Terrible!! Especially for what we pay nowadays and then get this..Disappointing

The rating this place seems accurate. My first time here and I faced the same issue most people who have reviewed already had. I placed the order via mobile app, went in and waited near the pick up area for my order. After waiting for few minutes, I went to the counter and the lady told me to come to the register next time and the order is not placed on the pick up shelves. Well what are those shelves for then? Anyway, the food was good. I will be going back since the place is close my house. They need to work on all these issues because the location is impeccable.

I was wondering why this place had bad reviews and realized after placing an order for inside pickup through the app. The food itself was good so there is no complaint there. My complaint is that the shelves they had for pickup had decorations on them so not being used. I went through the line and when it was finally my turn, I told them I was there for pickup. The girl told me pickups at the register and just pointed me there in a condescending tone. I cut everyone in line to pick up my order and kind of stood there looking dumb waiting for the cashier to acknowledge me but she didn’t. She kept ringing people in line up then when she finished, I thought I finally had my chance but I was wrong. She started talking to another coworker before finally acknowledging me. I told her why I was there and she asked for my name and gave me my order. I was angry by the time I left. They need a better way to do pickups. I was also angry because I left a tip in the app for the workers. I should have never done that and thanks to this location, I will never leave a tip for pickup orders. I wish there was a way to get my tip back.

Small portions, slow costumer service and on top of that undercook food. My chips were old and some of them were undercooked. This is my first time at this location 🙂 and it will be the last 😤. I do not recommend this chipotle.

My mom went to order 2 bowls and a burrito. They did mess up our order and couldn’t even wrap a burrito that literally only have meat,rice,beans and salsa. Then In my bowl I get this ? Couldn’t bother to shred it. Not only does it look disgusting, it was cold. Save your money and go to a different location.

Nastiest chipotle ever. I usually go to Manteca chipotle even tho Lathrop chipotle is right next to my house. I ordered a chicken bowl with extra rice and Fajita veggies my first impression was damn I made a mistake ordering food here. All the cheese is on one side chicken tasted uncooked rice taste like gum. this is very upsetting that you pay almost 10$ for your food and they give the worst made Chipotle ever. Will also email corporate. A manager needs to take action on food quality.

If we could have given this location less than one star we would. Its really gone downhill. The last few times I’ve been to this location the area where they prepare your food has been filthy. Tonight wasn’t any different. It obviously had been that way for a while and ignored because most of mess was dried and caked onto the surface. When I brought it to the attention of the shift manager, a young man named Singh he said “oh, I’ll clean it now”. In addition to the unsanitary food prep area they didn’t tell us they were out of salad dressing until after we got our salad and asked for dressing. If you only offer one variety of dressing and you’re out of it let your customers know.

Bro okay, I just did a mobile pickup order.I got 1/2 pastor 1/2 steak. I got NO STEAK barely any pastor barely any rice majority of the bowl was guac and more guac I didn’t even ask for extra guac or anything. This was my first time ordering at chipotle I feel ripped off. Worker was nice bowl was terrible probably never going back

My family and I ordered Chipotle on Tuesday, March 12th, via online pickup. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. We spent $101, and 4 of us ended up with food poisoning. The symptoms were severe enough that 2 of us had to seek medical attention one at urgent care 3/15/24 and one at emergency today 3/16/24 for extreme dehydration. This was a truly unpleasant experience, and we won't be returning. It's disheartening to have such a negative encounter, especially considering our previous experiences was mainly a skimpy order or forgotten item but nothing like this before. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements stricter food safety measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.

This whole place is terrible. I have to go to this chipotle because it’s closest to where I live. I go weekly or so since it’s opened for work. And not once have they given me the right order. Ive been meaning to write a review on this for a while now. If I could rate it zero stars I would. Lastly, most of the time, they don’t even give me all of the food I paid for. It’s really not that hard to put some food in a bag. Unbelievable.

Not shocking the overall rating at this store is so low. After ordering on the app at 10pm I get to pick up window and they inform me they have no more white rice. I asked why they wouldn't have some being they were open for another hour. They asked to substitute it with brown when i said no, just give me a refund they state they couldn't because I ordered on the app. So no food, no refund!!! What can you do??? The "manager" Katrina doesn't care apparently about her job or her attitude. The money clients pay keeps give you a pay check... I guess this location doesn't need the money. I'll bring my money to a deserving business.

I'm fed up with the Chipotle location in Lathrop. Every time I go there, they are out of something. Just last week, I went to get my usual burrito bowl and they were completely out of the mild salsa. How does a Mexican restaurant constantly run out of salsa? It's ridiculous. On top of that, the portion sizes have become an absolute joke. The employees barely put anything in the bowls anymore. I feel like I'm paying for a full meal but getting a tiny appetizer portion instead. And don't even think about going through the drive-thru - that just gives them license to skimp on your order even more. Yesterday was the final straw for me. I went inside to order food for me and my friend. Two chicken bowls, nothing fancy. When the cashier rang it up, it came to nearly $38! $38 for two mediocre bowls with stingy portions. I couldn't believe it. I'm done giving any of my hard-earned money to Chipotle, especially this location. The poor management of their inventory, the pathetic portion sizes, and the outrageous prices have completely turned me off from what used to be one of my favorite quick-service restaurants. I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Don't waste your time and money at the Chipotle in Lathrop.

A RIP OFF! Small portions given ( SCAM ). I ordered a chicken burrito, rice, beans, sour cream. The rice was the only moderate portion size placed in the burrito, everything else was sprinkled in ( I believe in any business being profitable, but not at the cost of cutting portion sizes to do so). The size of my burrito was the size of a soda can🤔. Avoid this place and find elsewhere to spend your hard earned money.

My son got a quesadilla and there was a very hard piece in the food. He had to spit it out. It looked like a piece of finger nail or toe nail. It could have been something else but it was gross. The restaurant claims that I can’t get a refund in the place since I placed the order online. I now have to call 1800 chipotle. This is my fist and last time eating here. 🤮

I would like to say this is the dirtiest establishment I’ve been in since moving to Lathrop. There’s food mixed in with other food basically cross contaminating everything. Then the ledge/table they use to make your food was wet with left over sour cream. I was so grossed out but since I already ordered my food I paid and vowed to never come back here again. The employees are rude expecting you to pay for cross contaminated food and if you ask for something fresh without bits and pieces of previous orders floating in all the food they will look at you like you are obligated to pay and eat AND enjoy a cross contaminated burrito. Cleanliness should be top priority for this location and it is clearly not. I find the Tracy location to be a lot cleaner than this location.

Well, this is a huge complaint, on more than one frustrating experience. My coworkers all wanted Chipotle for supper tonight. They mess my order up nearly EVERY time, so I hesitated to join in. Someone helped me do my order, and I got the shaft, AGAIN. Immediately, I notice that my bowl is so light, compared to the others, as I was helping to pass the meals out to everyone. I ordered a steak bowl, with no rice, no beans, lettuce, corn, salsa, cheese, sour cream and double steak. My bowl was more than half empty, barely had ANY meat. I counted the tiny meat fragments because it blew my mind. This order was almost $20!! It was mostly corn and salsa. It also was soaked thru the bottom of my bowl and was a huge mess as well as a huge disappointment. I think I'm done with Chipotle. These photos are my actual meal. I mixed it all up and u can see what I got. I say don't do it, if you're considering it. Also, here's the kicker. When u call them and make a complaint, they tell u that they're taking your information and that they are going to do an investigation. They say if they find that there was an error, they will refund u. They also say that they have 60 to 90 days to "conduct this investigation". So buyer beware. I ordered my food online and my boss went there physically, to avoid other issues in the past, which helps, but doesn't solve the issue. Thank you for reading my review.

I ordered through Uber... yes, I already knew I'd overpay, $64 FOR 2 BOWLS AND A TACO...BUT they failed to make two simple bowls correctly. It might be more accurate to say that even if you pay $10+ for extra protein you won't receive it. Nor will Uber refund your add-ons. I HAVE ORDERED FROM MANY DIFFERENT STATES, THEY ALWAYS SKIMP ON INGREDIENTS WHEN YOU ORDER DELIVERY! EVEN WHEN YOU PAY FOR THE ADD-ON!!! EVERY TIME, THEY ALWAYS FAIL ME.. Update: They sent me a link to "tell" them about my experience... What do you think that is?? (SEE ABOVE). OK, FINE!! I'll copy and paste for you.. I go through the link, and it's an endless cycle... I click on support and then online order issue. The pop-up options disappear.. over and over.. the other links work. Catering or in store order issue, etc. This has got to be a joke.. let me guess. I'll run out of time to claim my refund.. frauds.. yes, I've closed my apps and even restarted my phone. Didn't help. I took away a star from food for my wasted time.

Walked in and, at first glance, the dining room was messy. Went to order but was told multiple were not available and it would be about 10 minutes before we could get what we wanted. We decided to wait and sat down. That's when we noticed the absolute mess everywhere. There wasn't a clean table in the whole place even though there wasn't anyone in the dining room. If you mobile order they are very stingy with the portion, especially if you order extra of something. But if you go inside they give you a decent portion. And scoop extra when you ask! Why can’t you do the same as mobile? You’re charging for extra and not even providing it, this is the 2nd time i received an half empty bowl! Employees act as if it’s coming out of their pay check I’m paying over $30 bucks for food. I order 2 bowls I didn’t get a pic of my husband order since I drop it off to him. My reward was double protein, but nothing was double! This location needs to do better. You are making well enough money to cover the cost for extra. lol

I ordered from door dash, that was my mistake. I payed over $55 for three items which is insane, but the worst part is they didn’t even put anything in the burritos and the bowl. I ordered sofritas and they were no where to be found in my bowl. The burritos were so thin and nothing was in the burritos. I’m very disappointed to have payed that much for such little food. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SPECIFIC PLACE!

This is the filthiest chipotle I've ever been in. Food was burning on the grill completely unchecked for the ten minutes I was in the building, tables were filthy, and the food prep line looks like it hasn't been cleaned in days. Trash cans were all overflowing. This place must be horribly managed. The high school students who were working look like they were trying their best but cant keep up with basic maintenance or hygienic food prep.

I then asked why someone did not come out to let us know that we would wait so long and I was told if they did that then I'd of waited longer. I asked since my meal had sat for almost an hour if they could remake it. I was informed that they would not and that my meal was only made 10 minutes ago. I took my meal and left as I could see that the conversation was going no where. When I got home my meal was cold and my wife's crispy tacos were soggy. To add insult to injury, when I seen my burrito, I noticed that it was the smallest burrito I have ever seen at Chipotle. I know people may exaggerate when upset and dealing with a similar situation but this burrito was about half the size of what I am used to.

Based on the poor reviews for this Chipotle location, I should have erred on the side of caution. I placed an order through the Chipotle app. My order was supposed to be ready at 3pm, it was not ready until 3:15pm. I could have easily looked over the delay, because I typically enjoy Chipotle and have never had an issue with my orders. However today was the day, Chipotle would disappoint; as I found a short black hair on my quesadilla. I immediately tried to call the store, but of course I could not get through. After several attempts to contact the store by phone about my order, I was forced to express my disappointment through chat! Adding to an already frustrating and disgusting experience!

Trash cans were all overflowing. This place must be horribly managed. The high school students who were working look like they were trying their best but cant keep up with basic maintenance or hygienic food prep.

I ordered from door dash, that was my mistake. I payed over $55 for three items which is insane, but the worst part is they didn’t even put anything in the burritos and the bowl. I ordered sofritas and they were no where to be found in my bowl. The burritos were so thin and nothing was in the burritos. I’m very disappointed to have payed that much for such little food. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SPECIFIC PLACE!

If you mobile order they are very stingy with the portion, especially if you order extra of something. But if you go inside they give you a decent portion. And scoop extra when you ask! Why can’t you do the same as mobile? You’re charging for extra and not even providing it, this is the 2nd time i received an half empty bowl! Employees act as if it’s coming out of their pay check I’m paying over $30 bucks for food. I order 2 bowls I didn’t get a pic of my husband order since I drop it off to him. My reward was double protein, but nothing was double! This location needs to do better. You are making well enough money to cover the cost for extra. lol

Walked in and, at first glance, the dining room was messy. Went to order but was told multiple were not available and it would be about 10 minutes before we could get what we wanted. We decided to wait and sat down. That's when we noticed the absolute mess everywhere. There wasn't a clean table in the whole place even though there wasn't anyone in the dining room. Food was everywhere...the tables, the floor. We got up and left.

I ordered through Uber... yes, I already knew I'd overpay, $64 FOR 2 BOWLS AND A TACO...BUT they failed to make two simple bowls correctly. It might be more accurate to say that even if you pay $10+ for extra protein you won't receive it. Nor will Uber refund your add-ons. I HAVE ORDERED FROM MANY DIFFERENT STATES, THEY ALWAYS SKIMP ON INGREDIENTS WHEN YOU ORDER DELIVERY! EVEN WHEN YOU PAY FOR THE ADD-ON!!! EVERY TIME, THEY ALWAYS FAIL ME.. Update: They sent me a link to "tell" them about my experience... What do you think that is?? (SEE ABOVE). OK, FINE!! I'll copy and paste for you.. I go through the link, and it's an endless cycle... I click on support and then online order issue. The pop-up options disappear.. over and over.. the other links work. Catering or in store order issue, etc. This has got to be a joke.. let me guess. I'll run out of time to claim my refund.. frauds.. yes, I've closed my apps and even restarted my phone. Didn't help. I took away a star from food for my wasted time.

Well, this is a huge complaint, on more than one frustrating experience. My coworkers all wanted Chipotle for supper tonight. They mess my order up nearly EVERY time, so I hesitated to join in. Someone helped me do my order, and I got the shaft, AGAIN. Immediately, I notice that my bowl is so light, compared to the others, as I was helping to pass the meals out to everyone. I ordered a steak bowl, with no rice, no beans, lettuce, corn, salsa, cheese, sour cream and double steak. My bowl was more than half empty, barely had ANY meat. I counted the tiny meat fragments because it blew my mind. This order was almost $20!! It was mostly corn and salsa. It also was soaked thru the bottom of my bowl and was a huge mess as well as a huge disappointment. I think I'm done with Chipotle. These photos are my actual meal. I mixed it all up and u can see what I got. I say don't do it, if you're considering it. Also, here's the kicker. When u call them and make a complaint, they tell u that they're taking your information and that they are going to do an investigation. They say if they find that there was an error, they will refund u. They also say that they have 60 to 90 days to "conduct this investigation". So buyer beware. I ordered my food online and my boss went there physically, to avoid other issues in the past, which helps, but doesn't solve the issue. Thank you for reading my review.

Ordered four tacos online they got the order ready when I arrived perfect! ate the first taco and I thought I had ordered a vegetarian one but nop I ordered a carnitas barely tasted them. I tried the second one which was a chicken taco that thing had like five little pieces of chicken.

My son got a quesadilla and there was a very hard piece in the food. He had to spit it out. It looked like a piece of finger nail or toe nail. It could have been something else but it was gross. The restaurant claims that I can’t get a refund in the place since I placed the order online. I now have to call 1800 chipotle. This is my fist and last time eating here. 🤮
