Best Jamaican restaurant in the United States

Been going there for years and haven't been disappointed. Ox tail has to be one of my favorite dishes and I've had my share from various restaurants and Aunt I's is still a step above the rest( No bias). The service at times can be improved, but people will be people so I try not to hold that against them. Pricing is pretty fair, and I suggest if picking up, always call ahead. All in all, it is a definite must try if you're looking for some great Jamaican Food in the South Florida area. Hoping that they expand into some other cities soon!

Best Jamaican flavors around, my parents have been going here since before I was born. Sometimes long lines at lunch time which is expected because their lunch deal is great, but the service is usually pretty quick. And if you have no time to wait, call ahead and let them know how far you are/in how much time you can get there and it should be ready once you arrive :)

I visited Aunt I's because a co-worker told me they have $5 lunch specials. I ordered the Brown Stew chicken which came with brown rice & peas and steamed veggies and a drink. It was excellent and its a lot of food for $5. Real food for the price of fast food. Today was my 4th visit :-) I would recommend...

I had double oxtails with beans and rice..they definitely gave me good portion of food. For that I give them a five star! In other words it was great.

The food is cooked like in the islands very well smoked and baked chicken. Rice is always great!

Llevo años yendo allí y no me ha decepcionado. El rabo de buey es sin duda uno de mis platos favoritos y he probado bastante en varios restaurantes, y Aunt I's sigue estando por encima del resto (sin prejuicios). El servicio a veces se puede mejorar, pero la gente es muy amable, así que trato de no reprochárselo. Los precios son bastante razonables, y recomiendo llamar siempre con antelación si se va a recoger. En resumen, es una visita obligada si buscas buena comida jamaiquina en el sur de Florida. ¡Espero que pronto se expandan a otras ciudades!

Los mejores sabores jamaicanos de la zona. Mis padres han venido aquí desde antes de que yo naciera. A veces hay largas filas a la hora del almuerzo, lo cual es normal porque su menú es excelente, pero el servicio suele ser bastante rápido. Y si no tienes tiempo para esperar, llama con anticipación y diles qué tan lejos estás y en cuánto tiempo puedes llegar; debería estar listo en cuanto llegues. :)

Visité Aunt I's porque un compañero de trabajo me dijo que tienen especiales de almuerzo de $5. Pedí el pollo guisado, que venía con arroz integral y guisantes, verduras al vapor y una bebida. Estaba excelente y es mucha comida por $5. Comida de verdad a precio de comida rápida. Hoy fue mi cuarta visita :-) Lo recomiendo...

That jerk chicken is what I've been missing since I left New York. My family and I really enjoyed the food. Everything was flavorful and filling. Minus one star only because they had roti on the menu but none available and I really wanted one. Aside from that, I recommend this spot to anyone looking for real grilled jerk chicken with rice & peas...and plantains...and fried dumplings, lol.

I've been to this restaurant 3 times, the first visit was ok,the second was sub par but the third was horrible. I ordered the brown stew and i could not taste the brown stew. I mean I saw it, it was on the chicken but there was no taste what so ever. I even tasted the gravy and it tasted like water. I would have taken it back but I was to tired to drive back. I will not go there again

This is not a rating for food but for customer service. Horrible! I walked in and 2 people were behind the counter talking to someone on the opposite side of it. They continued their convo after barely giving me a glance. One left behind the doors and the other woman continued chatting with her friend. I walked out. If you don't have the decency to at least acknowledge you see a customer, you don't deserve my money. This is why small businesses crumble!

Smelly lackadaisical place. Workers could care less. Charge for a cup. Prices on display lower than what they actually charge.

I ordered the jerk chicken and my friend ordered the oxtail. The oxtail was over priced and the taste of the food was ok. The prices of the menu are not correct. They have flies flying around you while you eat. The service was terrible. Overall it was a bad experience and I don't recommend anyone to eat here.

I was going to stop by my favorite place in Lauderdale but I saw this restaurant as I was at a stop light and thought to give them a try. Bad choice. For the price I paid for the oxtails was ridiculous. 3 pieces of oxtails and one side for $14 ? The food was disgusting! I would not recommend this location . A waste of money

Worst experience here won't be back to this Aunt I's. The lady at the front after she gave me food I asked her if fried dumpling came with it she's going to tell me I said I wanted food. First of all she did not ask me anything long story short I asked to put the dumpling in a seperate bag becauae it will get soggy (common sense) so she shoved the dumpling in a containter and left it on the counter I did not even know my food was ready. I won't even go into what she was wearing handling people food and her hair. Terrible

I go here from time to time, the food was ok but I was very surprised to see what channel 10 found and that they were ordered to close.
