What an amazing place, we were received with smiles and had a table ready in no time, when we thought we were not going to eat that evening. We were a party of 6 and everything was so tasty (with a small mention about the carbonara that was a bit too salty). The nordic salad was a great surprise as the salmon had an amazing taste and complemented perfectly the apple slices. My tagliatelle bolognese were fantastic, the same for the pasta allo scoglio and the simple pasta al pomodoro and basilico. Great atmosphere and, THE MOST IMPORTANT, NO COPERTO IS BEING CHARGED HERE, which is rare and we appreciate this even more. Grazie!
I've been going to this restaurant for years now, not because I'm fond of it, but because the food is good (otherwise they wouldn't even see me painted). On a few occasions, I've even brought friends who've asked me to return, and they've also returned because they're satisfied with both the food and the restaurant. Of course, as I usually do, I try to avoid weekends, when the crowds and the most absurd requests compromise the service, as in all restaurants, both Italian and otherwise. This is a restaurant I recommend and will always recommend, both for the quality of the food and the location.
We went there three times during our holiday. The service was always very friendly, attentive, and quick. The food (including pizza, lasagna, tagliatelle, etc.) was excellent every time. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely go there again!
Excellent pizzeria restaurant. The service was fast, and the staff welcomed and served us in a friendly and courteous manner, making us feel immediately at ease. We ordered two pizzas and two pasta dishes. The spaghetti with clams was excellent; I highly recommend it. Plus, the value for money is perfect. It was a very enjoyable dinner!
It's a shame there are only 5 stars. I ate there two nights in a row, the first because I arrived late and didn't feel like cooking. The second because the previous night we had eaten very well and spent a fair amount. I think I'll definitely make sure to return, even if I have to leave Milan for a dinner by the lake.
Can’t say I understand the salty reviews – but some of them are super old, so here’s my take: the food is awesome (like, these pizzas keep me coming back), and the servers are welcoming as far as I’ve seen. Sure, the interior could do with some renovations, but I don’t mind its rustic charm at all, really. The view from the dining hall is awesome on top of that, and the general atmosphere is very warm. All in all, I love coming here, personally 😁
Both the restaurant and the bar offer delicious food. In the evening, as the sun sets, you can enjoy a drink on the spacious terraces and watch the lake – it's truly relaxing! Unfortunately, the bar staff barely seem to notice you, but that didn't bother us – we just went inside and asked. The sunset was more important to us ;-).
Really nice meal, great view - shame about the incredibly rude waitress!
This restaurant is part of a campsite. Haven't ordered a pizza there yet, because there are a lot of better restaurants close by. The coffee is good, but other drinks are relatively expensive, especially in the weekends when the animation team organizes something like a dance or disco.
Reservation well in advance on the terrace not taken into consideration. (the table then remained empty). Difficulty in finding another table. Fast service but not too polite. At least the food satisfied us
Nice location, lake view, romantic... The decor could use a makeover, the bathrooms are so bad... Reservations were made, but to no avail. Menus were hard to find, 10 minutes to get them. The staff was young and friendly, but clearly inexperienced. An hour for a pizza and a plate of fritto misto with wine and water: the wine was undrinkable, rubbish, and the pizza, more like a burnt cardboard box, arrived lukewarm, with a smear of red tomato sauce. The fritto misto was good, but the accompanying fries were barely warm! They could do better.
The location is always pleasant, but the chef seems to have lost his way. The cuisine is sloppy, more like a canteen than a restaurant. The dishes are bland, sometimes watery, to the point of seeming to have come straight from the freezer and then the microwave. The waitresses are friendly but need some practice: bread, silverware, and salt are the foundation of any tableware. Come on, a little more effort, starting with the chef. Prices are average, but the quality is slightly below average...
Let's start with the location, which is decidedly dated and in need of a complete overhaul, yet it enjoys an excellent location on the lake. There's a terrace overlooking the lake and a small indoor room with the same view. The latter is the only one with air conditioning—I use the conditional because it was 30 degrees Celsius inside with the air conditioning on. The wait was biblical, even just for the menus, one for each pair, never mind the exaggeration. The kindness and courtesy were undeniable, and already here... First courses: spaghetti with clams, a bit dry but not bad even though they were no more than 60 grams... spaghetti with seafood was good. They made a mistake in bringing me the second course; instead of fried calamari, they brought me mixed fried fish, another wait... the quantity in this case was undeniable, but the quality was terrible. I paid a bill that exceeded the value of what I ate, and then, looking at the receipt, I discovered that they still charged me for the mixed fried fish instead of the calamari, 2 euros more. Never again!!!
Booked 8 hours in advance, apparently no reservation. Nice place, lake view, decor in need of updating, single restroom for men and women, indescribable. The menu is impossible to find. An hour's wait for a pizza the size of a burnt cardboard box painted red, which should have been tomato pulp. The pizza was cold, the cheese was already hard, and the four shellfish on top were quite sad. The fried fish deserves a passing grade due to the quantity, but the wine was undrinkable and even watered down with water was still disgusting. In the dancing area below, the only available chairs were donated by Algida, dirty, faded, and still wet from the previous storm. Be careful with the drinks you buy, because the waitresses will throw them away if they don't find you at the table. Stay away!
