Una experiencia grata y muy deliciosa, Don Gato es un restaurante proveniente de la ciudad costera de Topolobampo. El servicio fue excelente, y siempre atento, con los meseros moviéndose de un lugar a otro asegurándose que a ningún comensal le faltara nada. La comida, en términos regionales, estuvo al 100. Pedimos, para iniciar una Tostada de Aguachile de Atún, y un Tentaco, por sugerencia del mesero. La tostada fue una maravilla. Recién hecho el aguachile, fresco, y con ese picor exacto donde no invade tu boca pero se hace presente. Lo único que diría, falló en este plato, fue que tenía un sabor un poco salado. El Tentaco con costra de queso fue, lo que para mí consideraría, el plato estrella de Don Gato. Y bien merecido este título, puesto a que es un platillo que ha ganado premios a nivel nacional. Un taco de chicharrón de pulpo delicioso, con su respectiva costra de queso, al mero punto calientito. Fue una joya este taco. Otros platillos que pedimos, y que fueron muy exquisitos, fueron el Taco Oriental de Camarón y el Taco Gobernador de Camarón. Ambos excelentemente presentados, y con un sabor fenomenal. Aunque los precios pueden alejar a ciertas persona, yo recomiendo visitar a Don Gato y vivir la experiencia. Aunque sea solo una vez en la vida, para la anécdota.

If you’re a seafood lover, Don Gato is the place you’ve been searching for. I make it a ritual to visit and have my mind blown away by the quality of their seafood tacos. Out of all the incredible options, my favorite is the fried octopus taco, creatively named the “tentaco”. The octopus was perfectly fried—crispy on the outside, yet tender and flavorful on the inside. The combination of textures and flavors was simply outstanding. But it’s not just the food that makes Don Gato exceptional. The staff here are top-notch—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made the dining experience even more enjoyable with their excellent service and genuine hospitality. Whether you’re craving something unique like the “Tentaco” or exploring other seafood delights, Don Gato is a must-visit. It’s easily one of the best seafood taco spots I’ve ever tried, and I can’t wait to return!

This is a large house that was converted into a restaurant. It has a pleasant atmosphere and appearance. The staff is friendly and efficient. It's not a seafood restaurant; it mainly sells tacos and some tostadas. Shrimp, tuna, and octopus are the predominant ingredients. The prices are high compared to similar dishes at other places. I ordered two garlic shrimp tacos and one craft beer. $245. Excellent flavor and seasoning, 10 out of 10.

A great option in Los Mochis for delicious seafood tacos and tostadas. For an appetizer, you should order the marlin toritos. The Don Gato taco is excellent. The golden taco with aguachile is fantastic, whether you choose red or green salsa; both are equally recommended.
