I didn't want to leave this review out, even though it's been a month or so since my visit. During Holy Week, I was at this steakhouse for the second time and I highly recommend it. The food is delicious. They use top-quality produce and execute it very well. I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. I'd been there years ago and really liked it. Having read that they'd done some renovations, I wasn't sure if it would be the same, but it was. There were four of us and a child, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd highlight the peppers with tuna belly and anchovies (out of this world, I understand why they call it product-based cuisine), the grilled sweetbreads, also delicious, the artichokes with ham, and the morels with a foie gras sauce. The roast was delicious, and to top it all off, the desserts were also delicious. It's true that it's not a cheap place, although it must be said that they ordered a lot of food and stuffed ourselves. Every penny was well spent. It was a fantastic gastronomic experience. The staff is very friendly, professional, and approachable, if you wish. Highly recommended, one of those restaurants that makes you want to travel just to return. Top 10.
We returned to this restaurant after almost two decades. The first thing I have to say is that we arrived without a reservation, a bit of an adventure, and on top of that, with a pet. Despite this, they gave us a table for the five of us and the animal. We let a very friendly waiter advise us on the dishes we would like to try. We had blood sausage with local peppers, Cantabrian anchovies, a lentil starter, wagyu entrecote, and a quarter of suckling lamb for four, all washed down with Ribera del Duero red wine. The result: excellent meat, both lamb and beef. The portions were perfectly suited to the diners. The atmosphere was wonderful, very family-like; the service was very friendly, and there was no waiting around while the dishes were served. To finish, we had the cheesecake, which was also freshly made; one of the best cheesecakes I've had in recent years. In short, a very warm welcome, friendly service, excellent menu, good products, excellent quality, all at a reasonable price (less than €50 per person). 100% recommended.
Tasty castillian food!
Wonderful evening. Thanks Angela for the fantastic service. Highly recommend!
They got one of the best chorizo and morcilla. Lechazo was good and the desert even better.
Amazing, authentic, Spanish food. We shared a bunch of starters and loved everything. Best asparagus of my life, great grilled veggies, chorizo, escargot, and lamb. Bonus points for having an English menu available.
All excellent, some local and seasonal mushrooms followed by lamb. For two 70€.
Impressive dinner with friends. Never thought a place like this in Lerma...
We wanted to try the lamb while in Lerma. We ordered the salad for two along with the lamb for two. Fantastic pared with red wine. Service was spot on.

Yesterday, six people had dinner. The waiter served us very attentively and recommended dishes very well. When it was time to pay, we were surprised to find that they charged us 2.5 euros per person for bread (which we hadn't even ordered). The dishes were good, but the portions were quite small and the price was very high. For wine, they charged us 21 euros, when at another restaurant they had previously charged us 15 euros (for the same wine). The worst part of the meal was the sweetbreads. In summary, good food, attentive waiter, but generally exaggerated prices.
We had a reservation for dinner. The food was good, but perhaps the price was higher than usual for the area. They also didn't have gluten-free bread, which is quite rare these days. I don't think it's a good place for celiacs.
I wasn't impressed with the Asador, where I had dinner a few weeks ago, even though it's a nice-looking place. The prices are very high and the portions are small, especially the sweetbreads, which, at €25 if I remember correctly, were a meager serving. The lamb chops weren't bad, although there were only eight potatoes on the plate. The service was okay, although there weren't many of us in the restaurant, but the main issue was the food: small portions and expensive dishes. I paid €76 for dinner for two, but I left feeling like it was a lot for how little we ate. We drank sparkling water and a shandy, and we had the two dishes I mentioned plus a lettuce and onion salad. Like I said: very expensive.
I've been going there since it was a tiny restaurant with just four or five tables, juggling work trips and vacations to stop for lunch. It had been a while since my last visit, and I was surprised to find a much larger and completely renovated restaurant. I ordered the usual set menu: salad, roasted peppers, and suckling lamb. They now serve the peppers with anchovies, which I ultimately decided against, and the quarter of suckling lamb for two... well, it looked like a leg of lamb, not a quarter. The quality of the meat was good, but it was ruined by over-roasting, resulting in little juice and a meager portion. A real shame; it shattered my reputation.
The food was decent, well-cooked, although the first dishes we shared (blood sausage and roasted peppers with anchovies) seemed very small in quantity; that is, I don't raise prices, but I do lower the quantity. And one unforgivable mistake: the lock in the men's restroom didn't work, which detracted from the logical and necessary privacy.
A total disappointment! We went on a recommendation, but they didn't have anything we wanted, and what we did order was just barely passable. The snails were served on a flat plate, so we practically had to slurp the sauce, the octopus was tougher than a bone, and the entrecote we ordered medium-rare was cooked like a shoe. We won't even mention the desserts because we'd already passed... The service left much to be desired. And by the way, we got a good recipe... I don't know if it was just a coincidence that we went on a bad day, but we won't be back.
