Con decir que hemos ido a almorzar sobre las 10 de la mañana y a las 11 habíamos acabado , tal es la cantidad de comida de calidad que sirven , que no te queda hambre para comer luego en casa , espectacular la tabla de embutidos que te ponen mientras esperas tu plato , los callos estaban brutales y las butifarras amb mongetas de 10.

Experiencia muy agradable. Comida rica y en cantidad, precio muy ajustado para todo lo que ofrecen. Servicio de antaño: cercano y de confianza.

Lo recomiendo muchísimo, comida excelente trato familiar y puedes entrar con tu mascota, dejo unas fotos que hablan por si solas.

Sitio perfecto para comer menú, hacer el vermut en su terraza y disfrutar mientras del sol. Perfecto si vas de ruta y quieres disfrutar del ambiente motero. Comida casera y abundante a precio más que razonable. Para repetir sin duda!

Gran descubrimiento!!! Fuimos a comer, lugar emblemático para amantes de la buena comida típica catalana, guisos, productos caseros, artesanos, carne de muy buena calidad, con una variedad amplia de platos... Pedimos el menú fin de semana y embutidos de la casa! Sobrasada casera, chorizo, longaniza, tostaditas y miel, riquísimo! Combinación de la sobrasada con la miel...👌 De primero pedimos unos caracoles, dos de canelones de carne y dos de canelon de Navidad XXL, todos estaban buenísimoss. Los caracoles picantitos, muy ricoss! De segundos pedimos dos filetes de ternera, uno con salsa café París, un entrecot, uno de rabo de toro y uno de carrilleras. Los filetes y entrecot de ternera tiernísimo, con patatas, cebolla y pimiento verde de acompañamiento, de 10! El rabo de toro meloso, sabroso, tierno y acompañado de patatas fritas caseras, y las carrilleras también muy ricas, tiernas y con sus patatas fritas caseras! Todo muy bueno y buenas raciones. De postre tomamos 3 de helado de turrón con ratafia, tarta de queso, y brazo de gitano de crema buenísimo! Trato genial por parte de todos los camareros, camareras, dueños!! Comida muy buena! Si venís por la zona es una parada obligada, y sinó es un buen motivo para venir a conocer la zona😉! Y probar alguno de sus platos. Repetiremos seguro! Gas a l'esmorzar!!! Gràcies

For many years, we've come here occasionally when we can. We've come for lunch, à la carte, and the weekend set menu. The restaurant serves traditional Catalan cuisine, with excellent grilled meats. There are many dishes to choose from at lunch, and the set menu features generous portions with high-quality ingredients, such as the selection of cured meats, the churrasco (grilled steak), the butifarra (Catalan sausage), and hearty stews, all well-prepared. The atmosphere is popular with motorcyclists, cyclists, and hikers, as well as families. Sometimes, when many people gather at long tables in the dining room, it can get a little noisy, but that's normal; people come together for lunch, and that's to be expected. For over 20 years, they've always treated us warmly and kindly, especially when we've forgotten to make a reservation and they've told us to wait a while. Similarly, when they won't be able to offer a table, they let you know in advance so you can find an alternative. But as I said, they're always dedicated to making sure you're happy with excellent service. We've been there practically every season, and in summer, it's a real treat to enjoy a beer and some tapas in the cool evening air when the city heat is unbearable.

Ten of us went to eat here on Sunday, December 21, 2025, to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant is very beautiful and welcoming: it has traditional, rustic decor that makes you feel comfortable. Also, the place is quite large, and there's plenty of space between the tables. We had a reservation because we were a large group. First, we ordered two charcuterie boards, and I was amazed by the quantity and quality (there were pieces of bread that could be dipped in honey and enjoyed with some delicious sobrasada). The day we went, they offered a set menu (adult or children's) or individual meat dishes. The children's menu was €16. The adult menu was €32 per person and included: ► First course ► Second course ► Dessert ► Water (we also ordered two bottles of wine, which were charged separately). Two of us ordered the adult menu. Seven of us ordered a first course. I ordered risotto and loved it; it was delicious and perfectly cooked. In addition to the set menu, they also offered three meat specialties (not on the menu): ► Tomahawk steak (€43/kg) ► Beef Tomahawk steak (€52/kg) ► Aged ribeye steak (€55/kg) We ordered 3.38 kg of aged ribeye steak, and I must say it was very tasty. I liked the way it was cooked (very tender). It also came with homemade fries that complemented the meat perfectly. I was amazed by the quantity and size of the cuts of meat. It's clear that they are this place's specialty. Finally, we ordered a few desserts (€5 each) and a cortado (€1.75). The staff who served us were very friendly and helpful throughout our visit. They gave us great advice on what to order and how much. I really enjoyed the food overall; you could tell the dishes were cooked with love and were homemade. Plus, the portions were generous, and I wasn't hungry at all (quite the opposite: we had to ask them to put the leftovers in takeaway bags). I've attached photos of the food, the menu, and the final bill. Thank you so much for the service! I wouldn't rule out returning to this place in the future! 😁

Food is amazing, local meats, cheeses and honey, a favorite biker pit stop, off road and Dakar decorum, you must try the fries (sweet potato, freshly cut, such a breath of fresh air), and one of their beef steaks. Careful not to get yourself stuff with the free appetizer platter with local honey, toast and vatious traditional, homemade sausages. Excellent pitstop or even destination restaurant. Staff is extremely welcoming. Pet friendly as well.

An unforgettable experience at Hostal Grau de L'Estany We went to Hostal Grau on the recommendation of a friend, and it was a great choice. From the very first moment, we felt at home thanks to the kindness and warm hospitality of Pere and Neus, the owners, who, along with their entire team, offer top-notch service. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted with a delicious touch: homemade sobrasada with honey, spicy chorizo, and a variety of cured meats. A start that already foreshadowed what was to come. Each of us ordered a different starter—snails, mushroom risotto, and salad with cheese, etc.—and all were exquisite. The main courses were even more impressive: two one-kilo T-bone steaks, juicy, tender, and with a spectacular flavor. The meat, some of the best we've ever tried, was accompanied by fries and a house wine they make themselves. They also produce their own cured meats, sobrasada, and even ratafia, all with an authentic, homemade flavor that makes all the difference. The homemade desserts—crème brûlée and cheesecake—were the perfect finishing touch: delicious and generously portioned, like everything at this restaurant. The restaurant has two very cozy dining rooms, one with a stovetop, perfect for a family meal or a culinary getaway for couples or friends. The set menu (€32) offers excellent value, with hearty dishes and an extensive menu that always has specialties worth trying. The village of L'Estany is also charming, with its church and stone houses, perfect for a stroll before or after lunch. In short, eating at Hostal Grau is much more than just a meal: it's an unforgettable gastronomic and human experience. The passion and dedication of Pere, Neus, and the entire team are evident in every detail. We will definitely return and enthusiastically recommend it.

I visited L'Estany using public transport specifically to visit the Romanesque monastery in the village. It was a bitterly chilly day for early March and I was looking for somewhere warm to sit down for lunch. I had Pork Cheeks with chips - it must have been slow cooked for some time as the meat just came off the bones so easily. It was one of the best meals I had during the ten days trip. My Spanish is very limited and my Catalan non-existent - fortunately one of the staff spoke English and he was very helpful. The place seems to be popular amongst bikers as I saw a lot of bikes parked outside.

If you are looking for something authentic and genuine this is the place! You can feel that is a family business and that all the products are sourced locally. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. Ya hemos parado a almorzar en varias ocasiones. Está genial la tabla de embutidos y las tostaditas, con sobrasada y miel, a parte del Almuerzo de Forquilla. Hay buen ambiente motero y en el interior tienen muchas cosas dedicadas al mundo del motor. Buena zona de aparcamiento en el restaurante.

Restaurante familiar decorado en todas sus paredes con temática del motor, algo recargado. El menú de fin de semana está bien, 30€/persona, con comida casera. El servicio algo lento en general pero atento. Mientras esperas la comida te sirven una tabla con sobrasada y fuet que están muy buenos. Los alrededores permiten darse un paseo después de comer por la naturaleza. Si llegas pronto hay bastante sitio en la calle para aparcar.
