Very Very slow service .... it was 4-6pm on a Monday.... Never received biscuits OR cornbread?? (as we were offered???) Lol Lol.. Ice Tea is $3.69 per person?!?!?? Lol!!! got a house salad as a side??? LOL LOL... Add $2.50.. it's not the amount that is bothersome??.. I was never informed of this?? Our 2 for $20.00 meal came out to almost $40 w tip .... The atmosphere is always good in crackers barrel and they are popular chain restaurant. Food is average for me, price is fair. Could be an option when you don't want to cook at home.

I came in for the Sunrise Breakfast special. I thought it was 2 pancakes, 2 Eggs and 2 patty sausage. It turns out you received your choice of 2 eggs or 2 patty sausages. That was disappointing and reduced the value of the meal. Service was Great and I love the atmosphere of their restaurants.

I ordered a chicken fried steak that obviously had been frozen and was more like a disc and tasted terrible And then order my sides which were a salad and a baked potato which I was not told that they were premium sides so I was charged over $6 extra. The baked potato was hot on the outside but cool on the inside and was very hard. I always loved cracker barrel for breakfast but I made a mistake ordering what I did. It was just not good.

Having grown up in a very rural area, places like this evoke memories of comfort and nostalgia. Any restaurant is only as good as the cooks working every day. Some days are great and some are not as good, but generally it is consistent and tasty. Service here is very hit and miss. We usually get acceptable service and then our latest visit our wait staff seemed to hide in the back and showed very little concern of taking care of us. We had to get up and ask for flatware, refills and the check. As nostalgic as this is, it is severely dated and the decor looks a bit worn out. Go for the food, the nostalgia but I would keep your expectations in check.

We have been coming to your restaurant for many years, and this has been the only time that our food was not made with the quality that it usually is. To start off, the food was cold and the pancakes were not well cooked. We had to send some of our items to get them warmed up in the microwave. We didn’t complain to the manager cause the waitress was very good to us, but we were very disappointed with this experience.

I'm disappointed with the food quality. Presentation was nice but sausage was still raw, and scrambled eggs were still raw. Gravy also tastes funny.. and our glasses were not rinsed well, taste like soap. Maybe they should use some of that soap in the tables, chairs and floor.. everything was sticky and we walked out with our shoes still sticky all the way to the car.

We chose this restaurant out of many options, and unfortunately the dining experience was disappointing. There were 7 of us, and although I understand holidays can be very busy for restaurants, the food quality should still be consistent. Most dishes were just okay, nothing special, but my fried chicken was very bad. It tasted like it had been cooked a couple of days earlier and then reheated — dry, tough, and not fresh at all. That said, we do love visiting this place for the country store. The store is amazing — I always end up shopping and finding wonderful gifts to save for later. It’s definitely the highlight of coming here

The women that was helping us must have been new. She was terrible it was a younger black women with a country accent with sparkles on her name badge. 1.5 hrs waiting and she dismissed us like we were just extra to her and she did not hide her actions when the table of 10 showed up because she ran to service every whims they needed and us, forgotten. It wasn’t even busy in the restaurant there was maybe 6 tables of people there total and people that got there even after us, ate and left before we even got our food. My god was the food bad. Sausage and ham had awful flavor. Eggs were fine but some were slimy and poorly cooked. The biscuits were just some run of the mill pre frozen junk. The server handed the drinks out at the end of the table for everyone to pass down to their respective owners. Same with the coffee creamers and biscuits. Service was slow but it was the day after Thanksgiving so they were probably understaffed. The store was overpriced but that’s expected. But the food quality really was the surprise. Just terrible. It’s like they microwaved a bunch of frozen junk and served it at $12 per plate. Avoid this garbage. Would highly recommend Korner Cafe on Main Street in Lewisville. Far far superior food, quality, price, and service.

It wasn’t good at all. Took a long time for drinks to arrive. Not given any napkins prior to food arriving. Half of our food was missing from our orders and we had to ask for it. The coffee was horrible. They didn’t have what my husband ordered available so manager came back and asked what else he might want about 30 mins into us sitting at the table already. So then we had to wait longer for the rest of the food since they waited so long to let us know they didn’t have it ready. They overcooked my steak; I asked for medium and it came super well done. We had to keep asking for refills instead of our waiter just checking on us periodically and making sure we had what we needed. The food overall is not good. I’m not sure why people like coming here. I came for a bday celebration otherwise I wouldn’t have come. I won’t be back no matter what the reason.

I had breakfast here with my family and ordered eggs with bacon and pancakes. Unfortunately, the eggs were undercooked and almost raw, so I couldn’t eat them—only the pancakes. Despite that, I was still charged for a meal that was not properly cooked and that I didn’t even eat. I believe more attention should be paid to food preparation and safety, as serving undercooked eggs could make someone sick. I hope the management takes this as constructive feedback to improve the quality and safety of their meals.

Today was probably the worst experience I have had at a Crackle Barrel. Where to begin - had to wait for about 10 minutes just to get drink ordered and delivered - food was cold when it came out, biscuits and corn bread were old - we ordered steak and eggs and asked for stake to be medium and was cooked rare - no waitress / waiter in sight took about 30 minutes more just for our order to come even though there were about only 3 tables full inside - at one point I had to get up to where the waitstaff entrance just to get someone's attention - overall worst experience I have had with my family there All the manager on duty as well as waitress - Karen H - had to say was sorry and offered no reason on why the service was so bad. If I am going to spend $80 on a simple lunch for 4, I would expect some sense of urgency as well and to have have staff available just in case the customers sitting at the table had any questions or needed assistance. But paying full price for such horrible service is unacceptable.
