Probably one of the best kachhi biryanis I've ever had across multiple countries including Bangladesh. The rice was flavorful, heavily spiced and perfect texture, but what made the Biryani special was the flavor of the meat. It had a very pleasant smokiness to it, similar to sheekh kebab. Meat was extremely tender, fall off the bone. The kebab it came with was also tasted like it's made with sheekh kebab for the smokiness. The service was terrific, which is not very common is desi restaurants. Highly recommende if you're in Lisbon. The neighborhood is but sketchy, but the food will definitely make it worth the trip.

I first heard about Rua da Benformoso from a Bangladeshi gentleman in a souvenir shop in Lisbon, who described it as a hidden gem for authentic South East Asian food, especially Bangladeshi cuisine. His words stayed with me, and I finally went there for a takeaway dinner. I ordered Kacchi Biriyani, Polao with chicken roast, and the traditional Bangladeshi drink, Borhani. The flavors were rich, authentic, and deeply comforting, the kind of food that feeds both the stomach and the soul. Portions were generous and the prices very reasonable, which made the experience even more satisfying. For a moment, it felt like being transported back home.

My go to place in Lisbon for south east asian food. They are reasonably priced, clean and provides great service. The breakfast deals are great and very popular. I like their tea and sweets as well. It is not too far from the martim moniz metro station, one can easily find it. I hope to see more menu options and varieties in future. Wishing great success.

Amazing Experience! I had a wonderful meal here with my friends! The kacchi biryani was perfectly cooked — flavorful, aromatic, and full of tender meat. The kala vhuna was delicious, specially the borhani was soooo good .The service was quick, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. Definitely a great place to enjoy authentic and tasty food — highly recommended!

We were tourists in Lisbon and we decided to check kacchi mama out based on our Google search. We had a meal combo of kacchi and borhani. Byged bhai the owner, welcomed us ( me and my sister) and treated us with great respect and hospitality. Spoke to us, told us a bit of the history of his business and how there are 3 batches of kacchi made fresh per day. We were very happy with our experience and felt very welcomed (it is important for female travelers), the kacchi tasted excellent with the borhani, after many days of not having Bangladeshi food we were not disappointed. Next time I visit Lisbon, I'll be sure to return. Recommend this for the Bangladeshi tourists visiting Lisbon, if you want to get a taste of home away from home and make friends with the wonderful Byged Bhai.

Amazing Kacchi. Staff very kind, they have orange Borhani that I love and it's not that easy to find, mostly in glasses options. Super fair price and all natural and fresh ingredients. The place is also super cute, loved everything

Probably the best bangladeshi authentic restaurant in Lisbon. Roast polau or Morog polau is excellent. Haleem is awesome, the best I have in last 10 years in different countries I travelled. Kacchi Biryani is also good here but not the best. Its difficult find best kacchi anywhere in the world now a days. This restaurant also serve hand made roti/bread and parata/flat bread those are excellent. Borhani is also the best I have had for last 7/8 years. Although the name is Kacchi Mama but I can not say the Kacchi I tried first day was very good. But all other dishes I tried are awesome. Haleem is very good, borhani is excellent, Morog polau very good. Hand made roti (bread) and parata is excellent. Daal was good too. And I also had a sweet ros malai/malai chop, forgot the name, sweet dipped in yogurt like milky syrup that was awesome. Original Bangladeshi taste. Sincere thanks to the chief, owner and all staffs. Recently tried kacchi biryani from a local restaurant, and it was really delicious. The rice was soft, flavorful, and had a nice aroma of spices. The mutton was tender and cooked perfectly, making every bite enjoyable. The mix of ghee & fried onions, gave it a rich taste. The portion size was good and totally worth the price. Overall, it was a satisfying meal that I would definitely love to eat again.

Kacchi was not that tasty perhaps lacked spices! Borhani was okay, Jalikabab was good but the chatni was disappointing! Service was excellent. Decent atmosphere.

It can be called meat-stuffed rice. আমার জীবনে এই পর্যন্ত খাওয়া জঘন্য বীফ বিরিয়ানি খেলাম এখানে। নন বাংলাদেশিরা ভাববে, এটাই বিরিয়ানির স্বাদ এমন। কিন্তু না, এটা ্বিরিয়ানি নয়। এটাকে মাংস মাখা ভাত বলা যেতে পারে। O pior biryani de carne que já comi na vida.Quem não é do Bangladesh pensará: é este o sabor do biryani. Mas não, isto não é biryani. Pode ser chamado de arroz recheado com carne.

Worst Kacchi I ever had. No salt, completely tasteless and most surprising there was no meat in Kacchi, only some small burned pieces. When I called the waiter where the meat was to show, he replied that the meat had mixed with rice, and he brought some extra plates with rice and meat. So disappointing, The owner needs to find a proper kacchi chef soon otherwise this place will be closed!!

My last two-time visit was money waste. It was quite expensive but not a good service. The first time, the food (kacchi rice) was over boiled, but the amount of meat was good & Borhani (Spiced Yoghurt Drink) tasted less. Second time, my bad luck,why i came here again ! I was super hungry But...... The food (kacchi Rice) was super cold & tasteless rice . The meat was black burned. I informed the owner & stuff. They say its new food. He said sorry to me without regretting. It's for him a funny matter. I will not mention the Dirty water glass and Unclean Oily tables. If you can't service and give a good meal to us so we will not give you good ratings and never come again. And I will tell my other friends and family not to go there and waste their money. An unprofessional Cheif and a joker waiter.
