Very nice intimate setting. Service was immaculate. Calamari was the best I've had highly recommend. Lamb chops were delicious amd flavorful was cooked medium well and perfect. Chefs special was a three tails with crawfish sauce potatoes with spinach. Was amazing could have had a tad more spice but thats a preference. Was very delicious.
My husband and I had our first date night of the year at Petit & Keet, and we were truly blown away by the exceptional service we received from Hannah Beech! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections, and her recommendations made our first experience at P&K unforgettable. Thanks to her outstanding service, we can’t wait to come back!
The best service at the bar!!! The most amazing bartender made me the most delicious espresso martini! The carrot cake was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!! The most amazing balance of savory and sweet!!! Seriously the most amazing dessert and drinks! The bartenders are 10/10!!!
The food was absolutely amazing! Our service was outstanding! The owner even came out and visited with us. Our server, Jeanie, was wonderful. Ambiance and atmosphere was so pleasant. The baked goat cheese was divine! The duck confit was magnificent too! Highly recommend!!!
This place was awesome!!! Food was amazing and the service was 10/10! I had Hannah as our server for a party of 10 and she was AWSOME literally one of the best servers I’ve ever had at a restaurant, thank you Hannah you are the 🐐! There was a woman with blonde and black curly hair also that was awesome that helped me find my table when I was fashionably late lol everyone was awesome food was great drinks were great I can’t wait to come back one day
First time to ever visit Pettit and Keet. What an amazing evening! When dinner extends to almost 3 hours, you know you’ve had a great time. Arrived a bit early, seated immediately, and Hannah arrived with efficiency. Opened our corkage bottle and the evening began to flow with our salads and food arriving perfectly. Both the Owner and Wine Manager visited our table with appreciation and interesting conversation.
Attended the Mad Hatter Tea party and as usual it was fabulous. The final course of the dinner event, dessert, does need to be stepped up to match the fair of the other courses. The wine pairing and special surprise drink cocktails is always a plus. This year, the main character, the Mad Hatter, was a guy versus the female bar tender of past that used a mask instead of just dressing the part. He was very Zanny, as you would expect, but the face on the mask was a put off. Overall, it was a smashing good evening adult only High Tea Party. Will continue to attend for as long as they hold it.
We were so incredibly impressed with the quality of our meal. It was outstanding! I had the chicken breast, and my husband had the salmon. It was the most moist, flavorful, and perfectly cooked chicken breast that I have ever eaten. The potatoes and vegetables were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. My husband said that his salmon may have been the most perfectly prepared he'd ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and beverage, the service was great, and the ambiance was calm and serene without being stuffy or boring. It was the best meal I've had in a while.
Truly an outstanding dining experience. We attended as a group. The waitstaff was ever present and attentive. The ambiance was nice…not quiet but certainly not boisterous. For starters I had the Pork Empanadas and sampled the Crispy Brussels…both were delectable. As my main course I ordered the Louis' Shrimp Pasta-delicious! Now the portions aren’t large, but they are satisfying. That said, one colleague did order the Double-Bone Pork Chop which was HUGE. Another ordered the burger and reported it as “great”, another enjoyed her Salmon cooked to order…. Overall a wonderful dining experience. I highly recommend y’all give it a try….but consider reservations…they are busy!
We celebrated my good friends birthday and it was absolutely amazing. Great vibes good energy and people. I had the filet and it was really really good and flavorful. My husband had the Lamb shank it was very tender .The prices were good. They had a drink menu but they make more than whats on the menu. I had an apple martini!!!! 10/10. If you want a great date night or friends night. This is for you. Get dressed up or semi casual and have fun.
This restaurant deserves a five-star, took away a star for the lukewarm lamb shank, as it was bit cold for my taste. The team here definitely takes pride in their restaurant. Prices seem a bit high for comparable restaurants in Little Rock. Excellent atmosphere, the ambience/ layout of the restaurant is very good. The bar is well stocked, and the team behind the bar knows what they're doing. I will be back again soon to try another dish here. December 2024.
We had reservations and when we got there around 6:15 the dining part had a couple tables. The host sat us right next to another couple with a wobbly table. I was perplexed by that decision. Before I asked to move, she moved us "because of a cancelation." That was a good thing bc we would have left if we were going to be eating dinner basically with another couple. Food was delicious, and the waiter was on point.
Came here for dinner with my girlfriend on April 26th, a little behind on writing my review but I definitely remember this place and I was very happy with the whole evening. We both got cocktails and shared 2 appetizers and the Special that night. I definitely recommend the Baked goat cheese and will get that every time. The Brussel sprouts were also really good and the Grouper for the main course was cooked to perfection.
We loved the menu that they recently rolled out. We had not been here for dinner in a while due to the tofu only vegetarian options. We were so happy to see that they had a new vegetarian dish that was not tofu. It is hard to find places where both my vegetarian husband and me the carnivore can eat a great meal together. My husband enjoyed the Lions Mane Mushroom dish and I had the lamb shank. Love that here my food can be modified to not include dairy or any of my other allergens. This is a plus to eating at local spots in my opinion. The drinks were great as usual and for the first time we had a Kentucky Old Fashion. Thanks to our waitress Whitney for suggesting it to us. We will definitely be adding this to our drink list.
Came tonight for the first time. I go to their sister restaurant Cypress Social a lot. The asparagus soup was fabulous. Very good. As was the salad. The Brussel sprouts also very tasty. The curried Butternut squash was quite bland. Everything was cooked well but the flavor was lacking and curry taste light. The chicken was crusted nicely and I enjoyed this dish a lot. The tres leches was great and a must have (the carrot cake also). Everything was quite nice. The service very good. It was an 80s theme but they didnt play 80s music from 4pm as stated (I noticed Foster the People band was playing) and that was weird to me. Overall quite good just needs a kick more seasoning. Recommend.
So I have never got to try this restaurant. My wife on the other hand has eaten here once or twice. So when I saw their valentines menu come out, I jumped at the chance to grab a reservation. Got there a little early and our table was ready. Since it was a fixed menu, we only had a few options to choose from. First course I chose duck and pancetta, meatball, and my wife chose the Ahi Crudo. Ahi Crudo - flavors were good, just wish they would have gone with a sashimi cut over the thicker cut of tuna. It had a little chew to it. Duck and Pancetta meatball- probably the best seasoned bite of the evening, almost to the point of being too salty. The meatball was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. Second course I chose the lobster bisque, and my wife chose the strawberry and beet salad. Lobster bisque - lobster meat was very tender, and you could taste the good salty water that they boiled it in. The base of the bisque was lacking a depth of flavor. I expected it to be more pronounced lobster flavor in the biscuit itself. It was good. It was just a different flavor than I was expecting. Strawberry / Beet salad - the salad was very good. I liked the cheese that they put on the salad. Luckily I was able to steal a few bites from my wife. Main course I ordered the New York strip, and my wife ordered the lobster risotto. New York Strip - when the steak hit the table, I was very excited. As you can see from the photos, it was cooked perfectly. From the first bite, I could tell the steak was tender, but there was zero flavor. I don’t know if the steak was not seasoned at all, or if they were just playing on the drizzle over the top of the mushrooms in the steak to add flavor. But the overall plate was bland and flavor. I had to add table salt, which I almost never do. Lobster risotto- lobster risotto looked amazing. My first bite of risotto that I was able to steal was pretty bland. I tried another bite before my wife finished the entire plate! The second bite was much better had a lot of of the pepper flavor in the risotto. My wife said the lobster was tender and delicious. Dessert! I chose the Tres Leches and my wife chose the chocolate pot de creme. Tres Leches - this cake was probably the overall favorite thing of the evening. You could taste the vanilla and the cream. It was a match made in heaven. The frozen strawberries on top provided a good texture contrast. Chocolate pot de creme- this was an amazing dessert also. The depth of flavor in the chocolate cream was truly remarkable. You could taste the different chocolate. Rich and decadent for the last bite. We chose to add the wine pairing on with the mail. All the ones were pretty good. Nothing earth shattering, but all paired well with the meal. Service felt a little rushed, and I understand that valentines is a big day for the restaurant. We would not be halfway through a glass of wine when the next glass of wine for the next course would show up. It almost felt like our server was trying to push the pace of our dining experience. This review will ultimately get updated. Because I never judge a restaurant based on one experience. So we look forward to our next date night, where we can stop by and try the standard menu.
Up front i was with a larger group this visit. Service was very slow this evening several of the table canceled drink orders that were placed before food was delivered and canceled after we finished eating. I had salmon tasty but cold, should have had some heat when delivered. Appetizers were best part of the evening
Came in from Dallas for a nice meal with friends. We were seated in a very casual area with concrete floors and barstool height tables. I was a bit surprised, I was hoping for a more upscale experience. The food quality was varied. One friend loved her paneed chicken, my filet was cooked perfectly, but had little taste and my side of potatoes were cool and dried out. The third friend was served a kale salad with beets, instead of the Cesar salad she ordered, although she kept it and said it was quite good. A bit disappointing, I will try another spot for my next visit.
Came for a business party. Left very disappointed as a whole. I had the shrimp pasta, which was very good. Three people in my party had to send their food back because it was over cooked. Fortunately, they got their food for free because of all the trouble. Our server disappeared several times and we were there about 30 minutes before she ever took our order. This was my first time going and I will not be back. I expected much more, giving the menu and pricing.
I was dining with a friend. Drinks and appetizers were good. Service was OK. Server told us that the special was a short rib bolognese pasta available as an individual main course, or family style which included Caesar salad and grilled bread. Said the family style portion was intended to serve 3-4 people. We knew that this special was probably a way for them to use up the braised short rib entrée from the menu, which is fine. All restaurants have to do things like that. We decided that we were hungry, and thought the Caesar salad and a big batch of pasta sounded good. The Caesar salad salad came, and it was fine, although not dressed as a usual Caesar salad is; it was just whole leaves of Romaine stacked on a plate with the dressing drizzled over them, industrial shredded parmigiano, and croutons. The salad was plenty for two people, but would’ve been small for three and minuscule for four. Less than two minutes after the salad arrived, the plate of pasta arrived at the table. We both looked at it, surprised at how small it was, and both of us commenting that it looked like a single portion. It was not a Bolognese at all, but some chunks of braised short rib meat, and a little bit of the braising liquid, tossed with pappardelle noodles that were stuck together. This was topped with more industrial parm, and some micro greens, with one decent size piece of grilled bread on the side. The pasta was also not particularly warm. With the two of us splitting it, it was a very small portion for each of us. If it would’ve been for three or four people, there would’ve only been a few bites per person. When we got the bill, the charge for this “family size“ portion of salad and pasta was $90! We could have each ordered a steak or lamb and gotten by cheaper! Pasta is cheap, and that meal could have been a much better experience for very little more expense. $90 was a ripoff. And a restaurant of this caliber should be fresh grating the parm!
First visit - The crispy Brussel sprouts were absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, the calamari was spoiled. The staff and manager handled the situation with great professionalism. My two stars for the food was partly due to the calamari but honestly, the bulk of the bad news is most of the food was rather bland. For a restaurant at this price point, the food should be almost incredible and not like buying meat off the store shelf and cooking it at home (with no seasoning whatsoever). The broccolini was tough and extremely chewy and I have had far better fried potatoes at home. I would have expected this at a low end restaurant, not a restaurant at $75 per person. Update: In the two+ weeks since my review, I did reach out via their invite of email. I took the time to detail everything in linear fashion. However, I have not heard a peep. As such, my service rating just dropped to a one star. So be forewarned that there response to my review appears to be more "show" that they care, rather than actually going the extra mile to truly resolve a bad experience. As if spending $225 for a "bad meal" wasn't bad enough, what really stings is that we were their to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. On a side note, my family is getting together for celebration of a couple of birthdays this weekend. We should have 14 people in attendance. Of the suggested restaurants, my wife and I made sure this one came off the list of choices.
