If you visit Gridley CA. This is a must stop to eat place. This Burger joint is a rare Dimond to find . We would stop as a family to eat here everytime we passed it . Highly recommend to go back in time and get some great food with great customer service.

I have been going to this place since I was in high school way back in the eighties. The food nbelievably is still amazing. It's really good the burgers taste like real meat and it is still prepared in the same loving way that it always was. I will always have a special place in my heart for this place.

The best food EVER!!!! Their shakes are to die for, and their staff is super friendly and personable! The only drawback is cash only. Love this place!

Cute little burger shack, conveniently located right on the side of hwy 99. Super reasonable prices. Food and shakes are tasty and fresh! Staff is friendly enough. CASH ONLY which can be a real bummer if you stop there on a whim. They have daily specials too!

Roadside burger place, excellent food, ample parking, outside seating, order ahead. Place gets busy. No bathroom. 🚫🚻 Big juicy burgers are awesome. 👍🍔 Fries are ok.👌🍟 Vast shake selection. Had their burgers twice now. Both were great. Highly recommended!!!

The food was pretty good. BUT whatever you do never get the chili. It is so greasy and bad that it made my dog shed a tear. And trust me he loves to eat every thing.

There really isn't high enough praise, cause this is just such a fun, small town, unpretentious burger stand, the burgers are really good and the greasy fried tacos are fantastic. Don't tell your doctor you're going here cause it's definitely bad for you but you're gonna love it. Stop by, or call ahead, but either way, **BRING CASH** cause they do NOT take cards.

We go from Yuba City to Chico area 2 to 3 times a month. Always make Ice Burger a stop. Great shakes (especially milkshake Mondays) and fries are great and they give you a lot. Their mushroom burger is always great also. The ladies who work there are always friendly and give speedy service.

Love the food. And the spot. I know my mom started taking me there when I was a child, as early the seventies. My mom has been going there since she was a little girl. Not sure how long that place has Ben around. I believe it is a historical landmark for Gridley.

Outdoor walk up on main drag through town. They have meal deals with options for fries or onion rings, wish I'd gotten fries as the rings were frozen pre-made like you'd get at "big" chain 🤮. Burger was good, although it looked like cut pre-made frozen too. Service was good, pleasant.

The food is good but it would be pretty cool if you guys picked up that phone that is ringing over and over. Why have a phone if you guys don’t use it? Every once in a while you’ll pick up and take my order but 95% of the time you never pick up. Ive had to stop coming here because I don’t want to wait in line all day since you guys don’t pick up the phone. The food is 5 stars when the owner is there, but when she’s not, the food drops in quality.

The grilled chicken sandwich was plain, no flavor and it only filled half of the bun. I litterally ate half the sandwhich because that is all there was! The secret sauce was very tangy, not for me or my husband. Service was great though.

I did like the service. Very friendly. However... The tacos were too greasy; in fact I got sick because of it. The fried mushrooms and french fries tasted GREAT, but I can't say the same for the ranch. For some reason, it tasted... Off. Prices were a little high. I'm not so sure I will be returning.

I love small shops, and I support local businesses. Ice Burgie is OK, not the best though. Burgers were good however the shakes were over flavored, to the point that neither me or my wife took more than a couple sips. Flavorings were obviously artificial and the shakes are made with soft serve that I feel wasn't really what classes as ice cream. Look it up... The fries were under cooked which made them limp and over oiled. Staff was friendly but didn't seem to be able to keep up with a moderate crowd. It took way too long to get served. Shakes were just a thick Milk, if you can call that "milk". It was my first time there, I'm not sure if I'll return. Oh, one more thing. During our wait we watched one customer have to have his burger remade twice because they consistently got it wrong.

I used to really love this place but something happened and they slowed down majorly. 30- 40 minute wait for a cheeseburger at an outdoor food stand is pushing it. And NO they weren't busy, at all. Don't count on getting anything quick. Food was actually alright though but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are way better, faster and better serviced places in town than this.

Ordered chicken, fries, and a burger, and watched the burger sit at the window for 10 minutes while I waited for the chicken and fries. Then when I got it the food the burger was cold and raw 😭

Grew up in Gridley and back in the day it used to be way better than what it is now. The employees suck and make excuses for why orders can't be correct. It's really annoying and frustrating coming into town and receiving that type of service. I choose from now on to not support it. It's also 2024. It's time that you start accepting other forms of payment besides cash. I ordered a mint and chip milkshake and it's only mint. I went back to return it and it's still the same. Only mint. No chips, maybe like 10? Her reasoning was that everyone makes it differently, which is unacceptable and I can't believe she had the balls to say that knowing that it should be made the same every single time.

Terrible burgers!! my burger wasn't even cooked all the way , super greasy and soggy was a total mess, and my onion rings were cooked all the way either I would not recommend this burger shack
