My family and I were out of town and decided to try this place. Made reservations on yelp and we got to the restaurant we were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant was very nice and clean. We order drinks which were nice and cold. I order the kids a bento box. The kids really enjoyed the food the kids express how good the flavor was with all the food in the bento box and they're picky eaters too. My wife and I ordered sushi which we all agreed it was delicious. Overall great place to eat even if you're out of town.
My go to sushi place in tri valley Double hamachi is my favorite. I don’t recommend udon. Most raw fish related menus are awesome!
Cute little place, very nice staff. The food quality is very good. Quiet atmosphere.
My wife and I ate here for lunch. The waitress was super friendly and just a joy to work with. Our food was outstanding as well with special mention to the 49ers roll with it's perfect balance of crab, lemon, and salmon flavors, the miso soup for a surprisingly savory finish, and the bay scallop roll that melted in the mouth with delectable goodness. This is our new favorite sushi restaurant in town. I really want to try the tonkatsu ramen on my next visit
Unexpectedly good food! The menu is as usual what you expect from an usual California-located sushi place. (They have bento on weekdays). We got one cooked and one raw sushi. They put sauced imi crab on top of shrimp tempura roll -that is a nice addition. The multi-colored roe-topped sushi was a delight for the eyes and has a tiny flower for decoration -a nice touch. (See photos). When I looked closer to the sushi cross section, I was happy to see a larger part is fish, they didn't skimp on it. (More fish, less rice). The fish tasted okay. Value for money is good, ambiance is just normal just chairs and tables with pendant lights, and beer bottles lined in the wall (decorative). The service was courteous and prompt. Highly recommended!
Came in around 1PM on a Saturday, and there were only 2 other pairs there, so my group of 5 was seated immediately. Our server gave us waters right away and took our order within a few minutes. We ordered a couple of bentos, a ramen bowl, and some sushi, with 2 orders of karaage to start. The karaage came out pretty quickly, which was nice and hot, crispy and flavorful. It was so good we ordered another round. Everything else came out just as we were finishing the last plate of karaage, and we all enjoyed it. Food tasted delicious, sushi had a lot of pieces, and everything was nice and fresh. Would definitely come back if we're in the area again.
Small sushi spot, love their sushi happy hour great selection. The servers are kind and attentive. Will come back.
So good. The bay area roll is with cucumber instead of rice and has this sweet mango sauce on top YUM!!!!! The best I've ever had the udon soup is rich in flavor and everything thing is so fresh. I'm ordering seconds of the bay area roll.
Great little sushi 🍱 spot located. You like sushi that has a little kick? gotta try Jalapeño Sunset roll 🍣 . For those who ❤️ scallops, Bay Scallops, which is baked is the 💣 👍🏽👍🏽
Fantastic rolls with selection of saki, sodas and tea. I got a sashimi plate and everything was fresh and delicious.
I ordered this Korean chirashi also known as Korean sashimi rice bowl or hoedeopbap (회덮밥) in Korean. The sashimi was very fresh. And it also had seaweed as one of the ingredients. They give you delicious red sauce to be mixed with chirashi. I thought the bowl was really neat with the right amount or balance(?) of rice + sashimi + veggies. Cuz I felt like some Korean chirashi had too many veggies. The server was super nice. I would def visit this restaurant again to try out one of Katsus next time.
Definitely a hidden gem in Livermore. The best chashu pork I've ever had, by a wide margin. This place is going into my regular rotation.
Great service, beautiful and comfortable environment...but the food is the best of all!

This place our family’s absolute favorite restaurant. Even though it’s about a 50-minute drive from our home, we try to come at least once a month. Everything we’ve tried has been amazing — especially the Chicken Katsu, which is our 8 and 5 year old kids’ all-time favorite, the Korean Chirashi, and honestly, every single roll on the menu. It’s always worth the drive👍

My favorite sushi spot in Livermore! Reasonable prices compared to many others, friendly and fast service whether I get take out or dine-in. Amazing fish quality and quantity. The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere and a clean, modern design but it is smaller so I wouldn’t recommend dine-in for large parties, even though I’m sure they would accommodate. Highly recommend the deep fried oysters!
Came here for lunch always enjoy a good sushi spot. Was seated right away want to busy. Decided to order a bento box with chicken teriyaki, gyoza, and spicy tuna roll. All were delicious. Bento box came with miso soup which was great and a salad that I didn't care for as it was warm and barely had any dressing on it. I ordered some sashmi, 6 pieces of Tuna, tasted very fresh and was wanted would of ordered more of not being full from the bento box. Definitely would recommend stopping by if looking for some good sushi.
Good sushi and other grilled dishes. Fair value for your money. Most dishes look and certainly taste better than some of the pictures in the menu would suggest. Will go back when we in the area.
The katsu, both pork and chicken, is the star of the show here. Crisp, flaky panko breading, knock-your-socks-off katsu sauce that I considered eating with a spoon. The tempura was underdone and didn’t have panko breading. Sushi was fine, but I wouldn’t go here just for that. Helpful server. The front of house decor is charming but the bathroom is grim. Awful lighting, cleaning products strewn about, toilet needs a new chain, etc.
Very good! I had the chicken katsu, but while the chicken was juicy and delicious, I'm extremely disappointed that the sauce provided tasted like nothing other than BBQ sauce. Pretty sure that's the wrong flavor profile for this food... However, the unagi is just wonderful, the miso is delicious, and the green tea ice cream is some of the best I've had. They also serve plum wine here, which is a nice touch! While I would not recommend the katsu, I do look forward to coming back someday and trying something new! Service was also very good.

Had the chirashi (10p fish + egg + shrimp) for $17. The portion was generous, but the freshness was just okay, below that of a typical sushi shop (perhaps due to insufficient turnover). The rice was nice and dense - good quality. Maybe I’ll come back for their cooked dishes, but maybe not, since those prices do seem a bit high.
