Every time I go to a new state I like to check out a fast food place that I don’t have in my area. Whataburger was the choice in Texas. I had the avocado bacon burger with grilled jalapeños and fries and it was all fresh and nothing was super greasy and it was pretty good. You can customize your order which was nice, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely go there again.

Stopped in here in September 2016. Was in Dallas to see a Black Sabbath concert. I think this was my first time at any Whataburger. I've heard of it, and many other regional chains, thanks to the Internet. There's even a rivalry between Texas' Whataburger and California's In-N-Out. I was looking forward to trying Whataburger. It did not disappoint. The meal shown in the photo is nearly 1500 calories. This is the only thing you'll need to eat all day.

Line was a bit long but it went really quick to order and orders were being done quick! I bought the # 1 with onion rings. Sorry didn't take photo.i ate it quick haha lunch time

They stay busy pretty much all day long so if you come in our neighborhood please be patient. You will get your food mostly on time and they sometimes give you free courtesy food or drinks! Customer service is young vibrant and mature. Food is GREAT! LOVE YOU WHATABURGER and peeps!💯💙

The food is consistently good, the people who work there are always at least pleasant if not downright friendly. The drive through is usually really fast unless there’s a rush but even then the wait is reasonable. I’m a Whataburger woman for eternity

We knew it was late at night but you a 24 hour place. And not to have certain things on your menu is not good. We have several things missing from our order. Soda, burger etc. But overall the burger was great but you can keep the fries.

Classic Texan burger chain with customisable orders. Great add on options - jalapeño, bacon, avo, etc. Drinks were MASSIVE. Friendly staff that bring the food to your table. The place was packed with people eating in, waiting for food to take out and a long drive thru line. Impressive to see them working so efficiently. Could’ve been a little cleaner.

As a New Yorker in my opinion Whataburger and HEB are two of the best things about Texas. And as a person who doesn't consume red meat or pork for breakfast I like to get pancakes with a side order of eggs. Sometimes with the hash browns. If I stop through in the afternoon it's usually a apple and cranberry chicken salad, or a chicken sandwich. For a fast food restaurant the chicken sandwich tastes great. It's as if it was home cooked. I had to be an early afternoon meeting, and so it was a pleasure to go and get breakfast at this Dallas Whataburger. As soon as I got in on the Greyhound one of the first things I thought about was where I was going to eat breakfast. Two places came to mind, and I quickly crossed off the other and chose Whataburger. The service was great here at this location as well. I ordered, went to the bathroom and about a minute after sitting down the tray of pancakes and eggs was brought over. Enjoyed every bite.

4 stars for the restaurant because the food is kind of hit or miss, but 5 stars for the employees. I was helped by a younger gentleman, think his name was Alexis(?), but he was new when I went in today and his customer service was beyond 5 stars. Working hard, great attitude, and if I come here again I hope to see him doing well.

We were in Dallas from Wisconsin for a concert. We knew we wanted to try Whataburger since it's a Texas staple and decided to go there for our post-concert meal. The restaurant gave off typical fast-food vibes. There were a lot of fellow concert-goers there, so it made for a fun atmosphere. I ordered a cheeseburger, fries, and a lemonade. The food came quickly, and I appreciated the kindness of the employee delivering the food to our table. He offered different sauces and quickly got my niece's shake when he realized it hadn't been given to her yet. The food was disappointing in that it tasted just like what you'd get at McDonald's or Burger King. I definitely have higher expectations since our "local" fast food is Culver's, and their Butterburgers actually taste like a fresh burger you'd make at home on your grill. The fries were good though. It was a perfectly adequate post-concert meal and it hit the spot, but it wasn't anything different than you can get at national brands. The big standout was the service, so great job with that!

Texans take great pride in Whataburger, and when In-N-Out came to town all the trash talking began. If you haven't read my review for the latter, you'll know that I find it almost impossible to beat In-N-Out in the burger game, but Whataburger puts up the best fight in the fast food burger category. Let's start with the basics. Texas loves mustard-based burgers, and this is no exception. The quality of meat is probably in the top 3 for me, and it's well seasoned. Although, I still haven't adjusted to chopped lettuce on a burger. The price for a double burger combo (standard burger review order) is actually less than In-N-Out, which I give them credit for. The combo is under $12. I'm not sure if they could maintain this price point in CA, but regardless of that, it's still the best value in the space. The fries are probably the industry's closest to McDonald's (still the gold standard), but when paired with the quality of the burger, In-N-Out is really their only competition. There's also the addition of more sauces, spicy ketchup being my favorite. Whataburger offers a larger menu selection than most fast food joints, and to be honest, I don't actually think their burger is their best meal. The Pattie Melt has more flavor and is a perfect match for the fries, but this is a burger review. So yeah, top 3. Where the experience really falls apart is the environment. It doesn't always feel like the employees have as much pride in Whataburger as the people that eat there, as customer service is average at this location. I was the only one in line at this location and this was my experience... The employee that was counting the drawer ignored me. The second person that came to validate the count ignored me. Finally, a third person from the back came to ask if I'd been helped. By this time I'd been standing right in front of the register for about six minutes. Keep in mind that there are no kiosks here, so it was just people not really paying attention. Overall, it's one of the best fast food burgers, so regardless of everything else, it's a solid 4 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My son told me that if I was in Texas that I had to eat here. Dakota was very polite and gave excellent customer service. I had a burger, fries and sweet tea. The fries were hot and the tea was good. My burger wasn’t hot though. I would give it another try if I’m back in town.

Why do the NEVER add cheese to the taquitos?? Not just this location…very frustrating . The cheese is 1/3 part of the whole thing!! And never sent with any condiments.

Due to the rise in homeless ppl the restrooms have a pad lock. We stopped here to order food for the ride back home to Houston. For me it was embarrassing cutting in line to announce I have to use the restroom. I had to wait for an employee to come push the code to enter. What a waste of time, and worst me trying to make my child hold her necessities. Food was great but I will not come back to this location.

This may have just been an employee having a bad day, but one employee was not only slow and neglectful but was also quite rude about it.

If you’re looking for good fast food this is your spot. If you’re looking for fast and efficient service and wait times...think again. The employees are certainly friendly, but I have never seen a more unorganized and inefficient kitchen.

My son was lost and came across this restaurant. Which my son stated the food was good. But the customer service Dakota J. gave was top tier and really appreciate him. Can't say the same for the other workers that worked that morning. They were very rude and not understanding. I wouldn't want to visit there if they are present.

It's a good burger, served hot and quick. Was glad it didn't take long especially since it seemed like the lunch rush had just started, about 11:40 am. Pretty busy but the store was clean and bathroom was clean, with paper towel dispenser instead of the never get your hands dry air blowers.

Burgers are just not ever hot. I dont understand. Fries are luke warm. Whataburger has just lost its ability on quality and service. It not what it used to be when I was growing up. Been a customer for a long time but living in Dallas there are many other options where quality is put above quantity.

We were the only ones in line for drive-thru ordering and it was the absolute slowest. It took 15 minutes for 2 burgers 🍔 and 2 fries 🍟. Honestly, probably wouldn’t go back. Food was just okay. Bun was very dry and not enough sauce. I remember the burgers better than this.

I've decided to stop eating at Whataburger! Im done. You ask for a hot samwhich and fries and you still get toothpicks for fries..Burger dry. We spend too much money not to get what we asked for! My previous experiences at this location when ordering from the counter have been pleasant. Not today. The gentleman at the counter lacks basic customer service. He was distracted, got the order wrong, surly and in general seemed less than interested. Sad.

Flew in for an event, took the dart over an hour to get here.... ordered my food.. workers couldn't even get the burger right. 🙄 waited for the cashier to explain i didn't wanna wait for new food just to let you know the food was made wrong.... ok I let it go. Walked back up to order food to go and watched the grill guy on his phone while having gloves on then went back to touching food. As they pulled the chicken out of the drawer he caressed it and then slammed it on the bun as the other guy thought it was funny. Smh. Was asked by someone if I needed anything, told him I just placed an order showed him the number card and he still proceeded to give me someone else's food then was trying to figure out what to do with my food. Just wow. You do get big burgers for what you order price wise but as a first time customer very BAD first impression... I know fast food ain't wine n roses but dam. This location has unfortunately gone down hill over thr last few years. Very slow, which would make you think at least it will be hot and fresh. Nope, rubbery Luke warm fires and the burger was slapped and pressed flat and cheese wasn't remotely melted. It only took this crew 12 minutes to accomplish this feat. Then they handed my food to the car parked in w front of me amd had to come back out and retrieve it from them. I managed to eat 4 bites of it since I was starving. My dogs seemed to like it though.

Have ordered dine in plenty of times and its been fine, but I have ordered from them twice online for delivery and both times theyve had some random person just pick up my order and leave the store. I manage two restaurants myself, so I know that means that the staff is not asking drivers to confirm orders. I totally understand that mistakes happen, but now that delivery orders are easily in that 40 or 50 dollar range for 2 or 3 people, it kind of makes it way more upsetting when this sort of thing happens

Every time I go there, they ask for a name in the drive thru, and every time they get it wrong. The first time I went there, I said for Vinnie, and asked for Spicy Ketchup. When I got to the window they asked if it was for "Will", which I said no the order was Vinnie. I then waited like 5 or so minutes backing up the drive thru when they told me to just go park. After about 10 minutes they came out, and said that my order was the order for "Will", and I didn't get any spicy ketchup. The next time I went I used my real name "Vincent" as I thought that would be easier, and this time I specifically asked for 3 spicy ketchup. Once again the line got backed up as they had no order for "Vincent". When they I eventually had to park to wait for my order, they came out and said the name was "Benson" (which I can kinda understand) and they actually gave me spicy ketchup that time.

Didn't seem super busy but were asked to pull up past the window and wait. We only had 2 burgers. Several people were served and left and we sat (already paid) finally after 15 minutes the girl came up and asked if we still had out ticket. I told her what we had ordered. Then finally it came out and we drove back to our daughter's place. My wife had ordered a bacon cheese burger. Tha bacon had barely been cooked mine was ice cold. Over all the dining experience was terrible.

Went to this location on 3/14/22 on my lunch break which is only 30 minutes. Of course they are busy which is expected got my food went back to work and was unable to eat any of it. We ordered 2 meals and the buns were burnt both on top and bottom and could not leave work again to take it back. It is sad that they would serve someone food like this. I know whoever closed this burger could visibly see that the buns are burnt.

I finally decided to try a whataburger after seeing them every 2 blocks during a short weekend visit. Whatamistake - burger was bland and unimpressive, and then I found a bug in my lettuce...Somehow, I was too drunk to complain or care, so I removed the lettuce and finished the burger - Not my proudest moment...

Definitely not coming back to this location!! Super extra slow(25min wait in drive thru) then I finally got my food and to my surprise the fries 🍟 are cold like they have been sitting for quite a while, the bread on the burger soggy af! When I took it back the employee told me that It was going to take 10+ minutes to remake my order which by this time I’m just ready to drop everything and go somewhere else! Roaches in food. I was told to call in the morning to speak with management no one answers. I was sick to my stomach. I asked how often does pest control and code compliance come visit and was told once a week. I just don’t understand how the person on sandwiches didn’t see it. Was at work and took a break to get a quick early morning bite to eat. Order was completely wrong and was double charged for the same burger Mgr was rude and and customer service skills was poor. Was told money was refunded but was actually charged for 3 meals and only received one. I tried to give him my card for the refund transaction and he told me he didn't need it he would be able to refund my purchased incorrect order but was actually the Mgr. charged me 3 times. But only received one meal. That was the most unpleasant Wattabuger experience I have ever gotten from a fast food establishment.

Worst whataburger I've ever been too. Took over an hour for my food. No one brought my food out to me I had to go in and get it. Even after waiting over a hour food was cold. Waste of 45 dollars. Workers was eating behind the counter around the food thats being prepared. Totally disgusting. Management was also rude and unapologetic about me having to wait and told me I shouldn't have ordered from the app. It's too many options for me to continue support a million dollar company like whataburger when they don't care about getting my order right.

This is one of the worst Whataburger I have ever eaten at. I order my meal on line which was easy and great. But then the problems started. My boyfriend and I both placed an order. My order was right but the fries were cold. I could deal with that but then my burger was nasty. I could not even eat it because it tasted so bad. It tasted like the meat was old and it had been sitting out for hours and hours. Then my boyfriend meal was wrong. He ordered a burger and large fries. He got a medium fries so he went back through the drive-thru showed her the receipt that he order a large and this woman said well you 2 ate half of them which was not true. He said ma'am y'all didn't even fill the box up. It was 2 seconds after he opened up the bag and saw that he had a medium that he took it back. It took her 10 to 15 minutes just to come back and bring him a large fry that was ice cold and old. We will never go back to this horrible whaterburger again.

Rude customer service. Came at 11:20 pm, the girl that’s light skin with a soft voice took my order, didn’t get it correct then laughed when I told her needs to learn better service.. then the dark girl that asked for the money needs to fix her face and attitude as well. If you don’t wanna work in fast food babe there’s millions of other places that you can go to. I really hope the manager sees this and corrects both their behaviors

This has got to be the worst Whataburger in existence. The food is horrible. We ordered from this location once before, and I gave them a pass for the food. This time, they've got to be held responsible for serving the trash they're calling food. To start, the drinks are gross. They taste like mildew because the machines are obviously not clean. That will cause sore throats and food born illnesses. The justaburger kids meal was trash as the meat was cold and the cheese wasn't even melted. It's like the cheese wasn't even real and it peeled right off the bread and the meat. My grandson didn't want it. He took a couple of bites and said he didn't want the rest. He said it tasted funny. The French fries were cold and the chicken tenders were even more horrible. The batter tasted old and came off the tenders when bitten into. This has to be the biggest waste of money and the last money this location will ever get from us. I'm thinking of contacting corporate because this service should be against operating rules for any location, franchise or not.

Waited for 45+minutes for my “fast food” in the drive thru!!!! And still waiting wasting gas and time. Couldn’t drive off because there was cars in front and behind me. I'll preface this by saying that the food is pretty good and well made, but that's the ONLY good thing I can say when it comes to this specific Whataburger. I tend to order online through the app, avoiding a line by ordering curbside, too. I tend to order it far away, so on the drive, my order should be ready. Even when I get there, I don't mind waiting about 10 minutes extra. But every time I order to whataburger, I wait 20-30 minutes and eventually have to go inside where they give me attitude for trying to get my food. And the most recent time, they messed my order by not only putting pickles (which I requested to be removed), but they added jalapeños that I didn't even want in the first place. I suggest going to ANY other store except this one, was convenient but now is always a headache.

Drive thru this morning was not so nice. I believe her name was Bell the cashier at window. When taking me order she couldn't hear me due to noise inside. My drinks were wrong. She got upset and said that's not even your drink and took drink back. Bell was rude.

Spicy Chicken sandwich Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🔥 Overall Rating: ⭐ I recently visited the Whataburger on Haskell Ave in Uptown Dallas, drawn in by the buzz around Whataburgers new spicy chicken sandwich. While the sandwich lived up to the hype with its perfect blend of heat and flavor, the customer service left a lot to be desired. Despite arriving before closing time, the staff's demeanor was unwelcoming, to say the least. There was a noticeable lack of professionalism, with employees raising their voices and displaying an almost bullying attitude towards late-night customers. It's disheartening to see such behavior, especially when the doors are still open to patrons. This isn't the first time I've encountered this kind of service in the area, and it's extremely disappointing. While the food might be a hit, the customer experience certainly isn't.

This specific location has lost my doordash order like 3 separate times. Please do not order from this location via a delivery app.

This place will continuously get your order wrong. though I have gone here on numerous occasions they will always get my order wrong. Did i ask for a meal and only receive the sandwich? absolutely. Did I order a sandwich and receive missing parts like no egg/cheese on a bacon egg cheese sandwich? you bet 'cha. Will they forget your ketchup? of course. This place is an absolute disaster and will NEVER get better (fool me once shame on me, fool me 5 times I guess its my fault for trusting). I enjoy eating Whataburger but this one in particular is incredibly slow! I did a mobile order and waited and waited, after seeing some come in and order and get there orders before mine. SoI went and asked what was happening with my order and after looking for a while they said they were waiting on fries. After more time and more customers I asked what was happening and it turned out I waited 45 minutes AFTER the order was supposed to be ready, not counting from when I placed the order. I ordered a simple number 1 with no tomatoes. I received a cold burger with tomatoes. At least the fries were hot cause they put them in when I asked about my order for the third time. No apologies or anything. So whatever you do, don’t mobile order at this location, they are way slow even eating in.

I had to wait five minutes after ordering my food. I don’t mind waiting but the customer service was terrible. While I was waiting/receiving my food one the workers black male/ wearing black was cat telling me he wanted to get in my car. My food was also cold. Not a good location.

Gave me the complete wrong order. Not just 1 of the 3 orders. But all 3 then on top of that didn't give me one of my fries. The worst. Went to drive thru ordered a #6, out of toast and avocado... Ok ordered wings instead with ranch and two cheese burgers. After a 25 minute wait, finally got the food. Luckily I stayed in the parking lot. I checked the burgers and they didn't have cheese and they were not cheese burgers, they had lettuce, 3 tomato slices and all the fixings. So I went to inside the store and they put cheese on the burgers. Went back to the car and didn't have any ranch.. So back in the store... so when I went back my 5 year old was picking all the vegetables off the burger... I ordered a cheese burger.... As in cheese a patty and maybe pickes.....

I’m trying understand how there’s always a 45 minute line, inside and drive thru AND THE ORDER IS ALWAYS WRONG. I order from this location. My food and my daughter food was cold and my sprite had no carbonation in it. And my burger had a funny taste too it. It was like a sweet taste to it. I’m very disappointed.

I just got off a late night shift and decided to get a burger because it sounded so good. I’ve had good experiences at Whataburger before until this recent visit. Please do not come here. I received my order wrong, to which I told the employee that I wanted mayo and cheese only. She ignore me. Ordered a sandwich with no pickles because I'm allergic and when I opened it up it had pickles. Went in, let them know, they didn't care. Unprofessional, rude, long wait time. Ordered a Dr.Pepper, got a diet coke?? Avoid this place

I’ve never had a bad experience with this location until today. I go through the drive thru to order and the lady taking my order makes me repeat myself 4 times. Once I drive up to the window, no word is said to me at all. All she does is hand me my drinks, hand me my food, and closes the window. If you hate your job, don’t take it out on us. She was lucky I wasn’t rude to her.

This might legitimately be the most incompetent fast food joint I've ever witnessed. I have tried this place 3 times over the past 4 years and every single time it has taken 15+ minutes to get food and the order I was given was wrong. Absolutely baffling

I had an online order at 7:50pm and I got there at 7:57m and didn’t get my food till 8:10pm. Mind you, I don’t really mind waiting for my food, but when the whole store is empty and it takes 20 min to make my food with around 7 employees in the back , of course I mind. These workers are slow as hell 🤦‍♂️. 14 an hours for slow employees.

The staff at this location need serious improvement. The customer service was unprofessional, the attitudes were terrible, and no one seemed to understand basic order requests. Our order was made wrong, and to make matters worse, we found hair in the food. This is a major health concern. The Health Department really needs to look into this location.

That bad service, first we ordered the food to eat at the store and they put it to take, the burgers were cold and the meat was raw and the staff was very rude to attend us, I do not recommend it to go to eat.

I went through the drive-through to get a honey butter, chicken biscuit, and an apple pie and wanted to use my rewards points. The incompetent girl in the drive-through window needs to be re-educated and retrained. When she took my order, I know she specifically heard me say, honey butter, chicken biscuit. When I got home with my order, I got a honey barbecue chicken strip sandwich. If I wanted a honey barbecue chicken strip sandwich, I would’ve ordered one. I tried calling the restaurant to let them know, and no one picked up the phone.
