El sitio es espectacular de bonito para comer nos pedimos una zamburiñas y un chuleton de 1K para compartir. estaba espectacular de bueno y de postre pedimos arroz con leche y milhojas volveremos sin duda y el servicio de 10.eso abre a la 13:00 Hasta LAS 16:00 si no quieres esperar es mejor ir antes y no se reserva segun vaya viniendo la gente.

Sitio recomendado 100% Calidad precio increíble. Abren a la 13:00 y no admiten reservas. Cuando llegas te apuntan y te van a buscar al bar de enfrente, que aquí solo admiten efectivo o Bizum. Llegamos a la 13:30 y tardaron en llamarnos una media hora más o menos. Nos pedimos para dos fabada y cachopo, buenísimo los dos platos nada que ver con otros sitios que comimos. Nos atendió Elsa, un amor de mujer, super atenta y agradable. Repetiré sin duda.

Todo genial. La comida deliciosa y una calidad/precio buenísima. Las camareras/os y la gestión de las mesas genial y el ambiente muy bueno. El espacio invita a disfrutar de las instalaciones y de la comida.

Un sitio encantador. Este restaurante está escondido en Puertas de Vidiago. Difícil de encontrar, aunque Google ayuda con el navegador. La camarera que nos atendió fue muy afable y nos explicó muy bien los platos recomendando no pedir demasiado, ya que los platos son consistentes. Pedimos media de surtido de quesos, puding de cabracho y fabada asturiana. Todo muy rico y bien servido. Felicidades, volveremos muchas veces.

Vamos por partes. El establecimiento y el ambiente son inigualables, te teletransporta a antaño. Es Asturias en esencia. El servicio y atención fue excelente: amables, atentos y serviciales. La chica que nos atendió fue genial. La comida muy muy buena, pedimos 2 clásicos y no defraudaron. Me quedé con ganas de pedir alguna carne más (tanto el pollo que hacen con un nombre ilegible para mi 😂 como la ternera) pero eso será para la próxima visita. NO hacen reserva, pero os aseguro que la espera merecerá la pena. Muy recomendado 🫶🏻

Una parada obligatoria en Vidiago para los amantes de la buena mesa. - Lo mejor: El Cachopo (posiblemente el mejor de Asturias) y los tortos con picadillo. - El local: Preciosa casona. El comedor "cueva" es súper curioso con sus monedas en la roca. - A tener en cuenta: Solo comidas (13h-16h). No reservan, así que toca ir temprano. Parking limitado. - Precio: 30€/persona aprox. Raciones muy abundantes. - Servicio: Personal muy atento y profesional. Si buscas el sabor de la Asturias de siempre, este es tu sitio.

He vuelto a Casa Poli por tercera vez y, como siempre, salimos encantados. Es un restaurante de los de toda la vida, acogedor y muy hogareño, de esos que te hacen sentir como en casa desde que entras. Trabajan con producto de cercanía y de muchísima calidad, y eso se nota en cada plato. Da igual lo que pidas, porque absolutamente todo está riquísimo. Siempre hay mucha gente y no admiten reservas: según llegas te apuntan en una lista y puedes tomar algo mientras se libera una mesa. Aun así, la espera merece totalmente la pena. En esta ocasión pedimos de entrantes zamburiñas, croquetas y fabada, todo delicioso y en cantidades generosas. De segundo, cómo no, el cachopo: enorme, jugoso y espectacular. Un auténtico acierto. Merece muchísimo la pena acercarse hasta Puertas de Vidiago para vivir la experiencia Casa Poli. 100% seguro que cuando volvamos a Asturias, volveremos a comer allí.

If you are visiting this beautiful part of Spain a meal at Casa Poli is a must. Local dishes, local produce. Luis, the chef goes daily to the nearby port town of Llanes to buy fresh fish just off the boats. Classic Asturian dishes such as fabada and cachopo are homemade as are the desserts. Good selection of local cheeses, chorizo, salchichón. Various wines to suit all budgets and of course, Asturian cider, poured in the traditional way - from a great height. I first dined here in 1996 just after Casa Poli opened. The quality of the food and service hasn't changed in nearly 30 years in this family owned and operated restaurant. Competitive prices. Only open at lunchtimes. Reservations a must on weekends, holiday periods. Recommended dishes: Merluza a la sidra (hake in cider), fabada, cachopo, fresh fish of the day, chorizo a la sidra, steaks, - actually order anything on the menu - it will be good.

After a walk, we arrived at Casa Poli just after 1:00 PM. It was immediately busy, but after about 15 minutes we were able to get in. Inside, it was already very busy and cozy. We were seated upstairs and had a truly delicious meal. A local recommendation. You really have to know where to find it as a foreigner. The local Spaniards, in particular, know how to find this place, which also shows that it's a pleasant place to be!

Fantastic hidden gem. Great for fish and meat. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and how attentive the waiters were. Be aware that you can't book in advance, this place operates first comes, first served. I suggest to arrive around 13:00 so you don't have to wait too long for your table.

Order the cachopo. There are few meals in my life that will stay with me for a long time but that cachopo will be ingrained into my memory for years. The restaurant is tucked away in a small little town requiring some skilled driving to arrive. But the adventure through the narrow streets is well worth the treasure that is Casa Poli.

Recommended to go here by our accommodation hosts. It was excellent. It’s mostly busy afternoons and we got there for 3pm ish and waited in the bar for ten minutes before landing a table. We had Fabada Asturiana for starters, and Cachopo for main. Then shared a cheesecake for pudding. All really delicious. Superb. Very welcoming staff. I used my Spanish language skills but there were a few tourists/peregrinos along with many local people being catered for. Great value for money and very authentic Asturias food.

**Best meal of the summer** We had an amazing experience here. They have a parking lot. The interior terrace is gorgeous with vines flowing across from all of the walls. The interior of the restaurant is classical with old Asturian vibes. We had crab croquettes to start. They were rich and creamy a full of flavor. We then had octopus, which was also amazing. Next we had the sirloin (solomillo) which was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Very tender and juicy. Finally we had the cheese cake which was also delicious. The waiters were all so kind and polite and gave us amazing service. I will be back again and highly recommend!!

Absolutely delicious, and in a beautiful rustical environment, too. We had some salad and pimientos al padron to start with, followed by prawns cooked in garlic, which were really exquisite, fried calamares and the "Iberian surprise". Good coffee and tasty dessert to top it off. We can totally recommend :)

Worth a visit if you’re within 30kms. They open at 13:30 but make sure to be there at 13:15 latest as there’s a huge line and only the first 30-40 or so get in for the first round. Once inside it’s a beautiful typical house with a patio and 3 dining rooms. Very kind servers, and specifically Fran. The food portions are big and you can see the quality of the product. We’ve had a fabada, anchoas (really tender) and croquetas de centollo, plus arroz con leche as a desert. The fabada is really good and everyone was ordering cachopo so probably it’s worth trying it. Price was 45 including a couple of wine glasses, two water bottles and coffee. Try it!

Very good food and really good price. We did not make a reservation however, we got the table within 15 min of waiting, while having a beer next door. Dogs allowed. Staff was very nice and attentive. Verdinas with marisco - great menu option and highly recommended!

Estábamos por la zona y lo elegimos por las reseñas. Había muchísima gente y tuvimos que esperar 1h y media. El camarero que cogia las reservas un poco antipático, pero aún así esperamos. Nos indicó que podíamos esperar en el bar de enfrente y nos iba a buscar, pero nosotros nos fuimos a una taberna a la entrada,(super recomendable) las zamburiñas y la ensalada de bacalao estaba riquísimo, pero el rabo de toro llevaba apio y no me gustó nada.Me pareció algo caro para la media que indican en Google.

La comida está muy buena con cantidades abundantes para compartir. Las fotos hablan por si solas. El servicio muy atento y rápido. El ambiente era animado sin impedir el poder conversar tranquilamente. Recomiendo la tarta de nuez, volvería solo por ese postre. Es lo que más me impactó y eso que el resto estaba también muy bien.

La comida buenísima, fuimos pronto y tuvimos suerte de sentarnos rápido. La comida nos la trajeron bastante rápido y todo buenísimo. La experiencia ha sido perfecta hasta el final donde pedimos que nos pusiesen comida para llevar y tras esperar me comentó la camarera que lo había tirado, reproché que era la mitad del plato, a lo que ella camarera dijo de malas maneras “hombre hija…. La mitad! Ya veré como lo resuelvo” después de esto me trajo un tupper con dos piezas de carrilera cobrándome 1 euro por el tupper. Una pena que este detalle estropease un poco la experiencia. Porque hasta el momento había sido muy buena. De todas formas, repetiría, la comida muy rica

The food is great, but atmosphere is horrendous. The staff is not friendly at all. When we arrived there was a sir in the front receiving people, I asked if it was okay to eat outside with the dog (as I’m travelling with mine) and he wasn’t happy about it, but said it was ok - this was the first sign I should’ve turned around. Entered the place looking for a table and the waitress didn’t even moved - the grumpy sir in the front turned around and said to pick whatever we want - How could I know? Asked the waitress for recommendations as was interested in trying new local options from the menu and she said to order what we like to eat. I felt 100% uncomfortable in this place specially for the fact to be there with my dog - even trained dogs can bark at loud noises. To sum it up: if they don’t like dogs even outside it’s better to prohibit instead of starring with a grumpy face.
