A splendid location atop Monte Moro, easily accessible via a short dirt road that runs along the sides of the woods. An oasis of peace, as some have described it, at 1,700 meters above sea level with a breathtaking view of the entire Alpine range. For lunch, we opted for polenta (which was excellent) accompanied by terrines filled with wild boar sauce, Raschera cream, and sausage ragù. The owner was kind enough to serve us enough polenta. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back. 👍🏼

New management a few days ago, reachable on foot in about 20 minutes on a very simple route or by car (at least an SUV recommended). Very varied menu. We opted for polenta with 3 sauces. A large pan with polenta from ottofile flour is served, to be divided. Together with it is served a cutting board with 3 terrines containing sausage ragù sauce, raschera cheese cream and wild boar sauce. It is possible to request as many times as you want to "recharge" the polenta pan with a philosophy similar to the all u can eat.

We eat well and drink even better...and then we head back to Prato Nevoso to burn off some energy. A walk through the pine forest and a stunning view await.

Well done! We've been here several times. Either after a hike, just for a coffee, or for dinner. Everything is always pleasant. The view is fantastic, the staff is friendly, and the food is EXCELLENT.

After a half-hour walk through the woods in semi-darkness, we reach this hut. If there are no low clouds, there's a beautiful 360-degree view. The culinary offerings are typical of the area and very appetizing, and the prices are fair. We had a mixed platter and tajarin with wild boar. The service was super friendly and attentive, even though they were packed. We were happy. Keep up the good work! The only thing that could be improved is that the prices should be *displayed* because they weren't even listed on the paper menus.

Top place first of all for the view... for the history of the place as demonstrated by the black and white photo what can I say from here you can enjoy a 360 view from the Maritime Alps to Monviso up to the Gran Paradiso and beyond if you're lucky... excellent new management, fantastic tasting platter for quality and quantity, a nice refuge at the end of a short walk in the woods... and then maybe set off again towards Frabosa Soprana or towards Malanotte

The owners are very kind and helpful. The location is stunning, with 360-degree views. On clear days, you can see the sea. I've used it as a bar service, and I haven't tried the food yet, but the smell makes me want to. Recommended.

The place is very beautiful and well-kept and can be easily reached on foot via a lovely walk, with a nice park just before it. You can also take an old chairlift from Frabosa Soprana, but you need to know the timetable. A must-see when I'm in Prato Nevoso. I once enjoyed the vitello tonnato. The service is friendly.
