The food here is amazing, My son Huxley and I enjoyed the burgers here a lot!

Definitely the place to be! Very kid friendly and the staff is very welcoming! The chicken tenders are out of this world! Definitely will be back!

This is an update. I'm happy to give 5 stars all the way around -- great food AND a friendly atmosphere!! Thank you for your reply and we will look forward to a better impression on our next visit! We've eaten often at the Rockin' K for years, and since the new owners kept most of the cooks and wait staff, the food has remained consistently delicious and service is good. The interior renovations will take a little getting used to but turned out very well. Only downside is that while the staff is friendly, the owners are not. Hence, the 2 stars for atmosphere. They are usually there, which is good, but we can't remember one time when they said hello, goodbye, thanked us for our business or stopped by our table to check on us. They don't even make eye contact, much less smile at us, or we'd introduce ourselves and compliment them on the renovations. Seems to us (and to other loyal, local customers that we've talked to) that they were talked into taking over, are not happy about it, don't want to be there and definitely don't appreciate their customers. We'll keep eating there for the food but it's sure a strange way to run a restaurant.

We spent a lot of time on the road and hit a lot of diners. I have to say I just had the best pancakes of my life. Unfortunately my husband stayed in the RV and missed out on what I’m sure could’ve been an excellent egg breakfast as well. If you ever get through here or even nearby Take whatever detour you need to. This place is terrific.

I felt like family as soon as I walked in the cafe. The atmosphere was very laid back like you’d expect in a small town. The food was delicious, my fave so far has been their specials like pork chops or chili. My waitress was a rockstar? Kept my drink filled and made sure everything came out perfectly. The restaurant is definitely one I will come back to when in town. Thank you Rocking K Cafe for your hospitality and great food!!

The country fried steak is my go-to with mashed potatoes and okra. A can.of soda is 3 dollars, so tap water best drink.

Just about the best home style cafe that I've been to. Prices are reasonable, the food is excellent, the cafe itself is clean and comfortable, and the people are amazing. I will definitely find an excuse to come by this way again.

Great staff & burgers are huge. Great food and very reasonable prices. Staff went above and beyond to take care of me when there was a minor issue with drinks.

Just about the best home style cafe that I've been to. Prices are reasonable, the food is excellent, the cafe itself is clean and comfortable, and the people are amazing. I will definitely find an excuse to come by this way again.

We went there for early dinner we had the catfish dinner with shrimp it was delicious service was great👈🏻 this first review was 11 months ago 👈🏻 My crew and I was working around the area we went there twice this week with seven to go orders the first day was hamburgers they were very good The staff was very friendly and today we got some more to go orders seven of them got the steak finger meal and it was very good as well handmade although the staff was very busy they were very friendly and helpful

Great hometown restaurant. We were just visiting the area when we stopped in. All of the food we ordered was good. Burger, salad, tots, fries. Exactly what you would expect from this type of restaurant. Plus friendly service. The only down side was the tea/water. Not sure what they are using for the water purification or treatment, but it affected the taste of things made with it. The tea was not really drinkable. Otherwise we really enjoyed everything and will stop back in when we are driving through.

The chili was from a can and not even as good as Wolf brand chili. This time I ordered the two chicken strip basket with gravy and okra. Although hot and fresh this entire meal lacks seasoning. A bit of salt would go a long way. The staff I've interacted with do not seem all that friendly. You might do better getting a meal from the Mexican restaurant or Beer Kooler which are both just down the street from this cafe.

Tried the steak dinner on Saturday. The steak was undercooked. It was basically rare to not cook on the edges. Potatoes were not cooked throughout . Oreo pudding was our best experience. Waitress not experienced at all. Next time we will order medium instead of medium rare.

Not terrible... but, smaller portion sizes, more expensive, and mediocre service (forgetting things and slight inaccuracies in the order, etc). Quality of food also wasnt as good as it was. To be fair, we did go around 7pm, so maybe its better during more peak hours but... idk.
