A wonderful Italian deli/cafe in Surrey Quays. Run by a lovely couple who cater to your food requests. Food offered is fresh, tasty and well presented. And is really good value for money.

Great food, nice coffee, and really tasty breakfast/lunch food. The pastries are fancy, bacon baguettes are so generous and they will make a panini however you want it. Plus the owners are so friendly, the prices are reasonable and not over-inflated, and they have an amazing selection of specialty pastas and authentic sauces to buy too. A local favourite.

This is an absolute best place for a personalised toasted sandwich that is made from genuinely freshly cooked ingredients. If you're lucky, you get some homemade cake too, but it sells out fast :)

Very happy with this local Italian eatery. They have a lot of quality Italian food products for home and the take out counter food has a broad enough selection. They have enough pastries to last the day and their coffees are 5/5. If you smoke cigars they have a good selection too!

Gem of Surrey Quays! The owners/managers are so lovely and friendly. The sandwiches are delicious, fresh and generous portions too! I love the Roman bread especially. Lovely independent and unique character too. It's regularly becoming a Friday lunch treat for me

Delightful little coffee shop and delicatessen that makes baguettes, panninis and wraps on demand as well as a selection of other fresh home cooked food. Very generous fillings to sandwiches and big portion sizes, best of its type I've ever seen. Nice quality coffee and pretty good freshly squeezed, on demand not waiting in a jug, orange juice. Superb value for money all round. Best thing about the place is the staff! Incredibly friendly, chatty and kind people. Nice atmosphere too, and always smells delightful walking in. After 15 years living in SE16 I can confidently guarantee its by far the best coffee/sandwich option within the Canada Water and Surrey Quays area.

Best sandwiches I've tasted in London. Everything is cooked fresh and homemade - 10/10 on the food. As per the other comments, it is ran by the friendliest couple who always do everything to make you feel welcome. I moved to Surrey Quays from Ireland earlier this year and it is by far my favorite place for lunch!

Wonderful little place, I say little but inside has plenty of seating, a shop and seating for 2 outside. The food always tastes delicious and service is always with a smile and friendly chat. The owner always has great suggestions when it comes to flavours. You can tell they take pride in their business. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing atmosphere and friendly surroundings to have brunch/lunch or a pastry or two!

Stumbled upon this small cafe/ Italian eatery while in Surrey Quays looking for a coffee and a Danish. Enjoyed one of the best cappuccino I've had in along long while and reasonably priced too. Clean and pleasant service to boot.

I can’t remember the last time I came here for coffee. But the man behind the counter remembered me and remembered exactly how I like my coffee. He then carried my coffee and food over to the table for me. And I really like the coffee! Tiramisu cake might not be traditional, but it was really good. I agree with another reviewer about the seating. Not all of us find it comfortable to sit on high stools at high tables. I am looking forward to looking at the things they sell in the deli. this might take awhile.

Very nice family owned business. Staff are very kind and friendly. Both coffee and food are more than reasonably priced for the quality, and has always been consistent. Panini is amazing.

Run by the loveliest couple. We came to Surrey Quays for a flat viewing and they told us they'd been here for years. We've now been living here for 2 years and still go over to get their delicious stilton and bacon paninis!

I was put onto this local gem by Iain Sinclair‘s book, London Overground. I haven’t had the food but the coffee and the service is wonderful. It’s an early opener as well, which is much appreciated.

A little hidden gem in Surrey Quays. Feels like you're stepping into Italy, amazing atmosphere and the pistachio gelato is absolutely delicious.

Absolute awful place. The most rudest owner i have in countered. Sometime when ordering u don't always realise that small things makes up to be high price. All i said to the guy gently and not looking for discounts that "wow, how did it get to that" after he gave me the total. This guy immediately tells me u don't like it just don't come back. Then he carried on mumbling as i was leaving. I felt so embarrassed.

Absolutely disgusted at the service received. Gentleman behind the bar today was very racist towards me and my spouse. I don’t know if it’s because we were British but we were told to leave the shop as they “do not serve my kind”… embarrassing.

Make sure they are not charging you extra for toasting your sandwich and then hurl insults when you point it out. Disgusting behaviour by the cashier. Loud mouthed, and super entitled. Would give negative stars if were possible
