The location is iconic and the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed. Pronoy served us and really looked after our table. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and we didn’t have to wait long for our meals. We had a great time definitely value for money. I’m a tea person, and I loved the presentation of my tea at the end as well.

A wonderful dining experience from beginning to end. Keerthana delivered outstanding service with genuine care and professionalism. She understood my dietary needs, confirmed details directly with the chef, and suggested excellent alternatives that suited me perfectly. Her knowledge of the menu and attention to detail were impressive. She engaged at the right moments while maintaining a comfortable sense of privacy. Ankit also stopped by to check on us, which made the experience feel personal and valued. Overall, it was a smooth, satisfying, and pleasantly surprising evening.

Really enjoyed our dinner! The food was beautifully presented and even more tasty, loved all the flavours. Compliments to the chef and their team. Also, great service by Anastasia and Miftah. Would definitely go again, many times!!

An Evening at Leicester Square Kitchen Radisson Blu Leicester Square HotelDecember 29, 2025 Leicester Square Kitchen occupies that rare space where theatrical location meets genuine culinary confidence. Nestled within the Radisson Blu, this dining room eschews the usual West End tourist trap mediocrity for something considerably more sophisticated. The interior strikes an immediate chord—a dramatic statement wall of charcoal brick punctuated by scattered lighter tiles, creating an effect reminiscent of stars against a night sky. It’s bold without being bombastic, providing an urbane backdrop that somehow manages to make fellow diners appear more interesting than they might actually be. Though, in fairness, last night’s crowd genuinely were—the sort of animated, engaged company that transforms a meal into an occasion. Our server, Keerthana, demonstrated that most elusive of hospitality virtues: she was present without being intrusive, knowledgeable without being pedantic. Her recommendations carried the weight of someone who actually tastes what she serves, and her timing throughout the evening was impeccable. In an industry where good service has become alarmingly rare, she reminded us what it looks like when done properly. To the food: the whole roasted seabream arrived with a magnificent char, the flesh yielding and sweet beneath its chilli-spiked crust, accompanied by a vibrant tangle of purple slaw that provided both colour and clever counterpoint. This was confident cooking—the kind that doesn’t need to shout its accomplishments. The croquettes (I suspect these were the kitchen’s own creation) achieved that crucial textural balance between exterior crunch and molten interior, elevated by a judicious squeeze of charred lime. Even the roasted cauliflower transcended its fashionable-vegetable status, arriving with enough char and seasoning to stand as a dish in its own right rather than virtuous afterthought. The 2024 Bottega Pinot Grigio from delle Venize proved an astute pairing—crisp, clean, and sufficiently food-friendly to navigate from the richness of fried items to the delicacy of the seabream without losing its way. Leicester Square Kitchen succeeds because it understands something fundamental: location is not destiny. While lesser establishments coast on proximity to theatres, this kitchen actually cooks. Combined with Keerthana’s exemplary service and a room that manages to feel both contemporary and comfortable, it offers something West End diners badly need—a genuine reason to arrive early rather than dash in for a pre-curtain necessity. Rating: ★★★★☆ Worth returning for: The seabream, Keerthana’s service, the convivial atmosphereNote: Service charge discretionary at 12.5%—and in this case, earned

Really enjoyed my meal and drinks here. Everything we tried on the menu was delicious. We ordered four small plates and two mains for three of us, and it turned out to be plenty of food. Cocktails were delicious too. Staff were great at clearing away plates, and the food came very quickly! Overall really enjoyed the experience here- food was really interesting and tasted great!!! Also, great outdoor seating that is undercover and with heaters.

Fabulous night spent in London around a wonderful Christmas market and eating at this excellent establishment. The Ceviche was needed twice, guac was on point and the old fashioned with tequila was definitely different but delicious. The wild mushroom risotto was the center of our table which was cooked to perfection. Definitely will be back.

An excellent gem in Leicester Square. Attentive and professional staff. A great vibe and the food was exceptional. We loved the fusion of Mexican and Peruvian and the baja tacos were sublime! The small dishes were sufficient to share and the wine and company…magnífica! Loved the decor and the facilities - always a good tell of the care of a restaurant were very good. It was a delight to visit.

Fantastic restaurant with amazing service and great food taste. The Peruvian and Mexican combination of dish were Absolutely divine! You can tell the combination of photo displayed here. Absolutely adore the steak sirloin. Absolutely recommend others to come here.

This was our 8th visit and 2nd this year. I’m still rating it a 5 but on our latest visit we arrived just before 1 and the service was exceptionally slow. It took nearly 25 minutes to finally get a bottle of wine. On querying the wait we were told it was very busy. On arrival there was a table x 2, Tx1 and a tx8. So I can’t understand the wait. There also seemed to be plenty of servers. If this was our first visit we’d definitely not return and it’d be 1 star. Anyway on to the Positives. The food just gets better each time. The freshness of the food is amazing as are the flavours. Also the hot sauce really hits the spot. I look forward to every mouthful. We cannot complain in anyway about the food. It’s also in a great location. Hopefully our next visit the speed and service is back to normal. See you soon. Nick

Excellent quality if you like to share mexican/peruvian style dishes. Order a few of them and enjoy the feast. It's flavoursome, it's colourful, and the cocktails make the entire dinner a brilliant experience!

Had a really lovely dinner at Leicester Square Kitchen. Service was great (the gentleman who took care of us was really nice I wish I got his name). Food was on point with every dish as well as cocktails. The Yuzu Pisco shouldn’t be missed. Would defo come back, love the sharing style. Removed 1 star for atmosphere as we were sat next to a very large and loud bridal party. Not the restaurant’s fault but did make it hard to chat with our table because of the noise level. Still an overall 5/5

We return here time after time for the incredible food (Mexican & Peruvian small plates), luxurious surroundings, and fabulous service. A great example was the helpfulness of Dhaval who was simply amazing on the day. We hadn't pre-booked and the restaurant was full at 5 pm. She arranged for us to have drinks at a reserved table in the Lounge and to be collected when our table was ready later in the evening. Dhaval wasn't present in the evening, and Simona (Food and Beverage Manager) made sure we were looked after throughout. Incredible service. All arranged by Dhaval. We had several small plates with fine wine to match. All the staff throughout the evening (Sat 19 Aug) were completely amazing. A huge thank you for making our meal so special. They even arranged a Birthday Macaroon on a beautiful plate. We'll be back soon. The Hampshire is always a special destination. Brian Hill

Wow, what a surprise! In all honesty, we have walked past this place many times and have never been tempted to visit - just looks like a touristy central London bar. We were walking around last night and searched online for Mexican food and this place came up with good reviews, so we booked it. Turns out, some of the best Mexican we have had is served here! It can be a bit spicy, but some of the dishes can be served with the hot sauce on the side, which means you can choose your own level. Special mention must go to the lamb cutlets - one of the tastiest things we have eaten in a while - delicious. Oh, and great cocktails too! Really friendly staff with great suggestions for cocktail choices and it’s obvious they are proud of the place they work for. Definitely will be a returning customer!

This place is awesome! All the staff are super friendly. The food is Mexican and Peruvian small bite sized food l. They have amazing soft and hard tacos and loads if different options to share, great vegetarian options also! The bartenders make very impressive cocktails as well

Superb service and absolutely delicious food. Ask for Kitti or Marco and you'll have unobtrusive and impeccable service throughout your meal. Food was incredible with a legitimate spicy kick that provided heat but didn't mask the delectable taste. Ribs, wings and burritos were insanely good; the chili Martini was dangerously good too. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Exceptionally good food and service to match, arrived just at the end of lunchtime service but we were warmly welcomed and accommodated and we were not disappointed! Food was excellent, freshly prepared, beautifully presented and absolutely full of flavour, clearly a passionate team running things here! The front of house team were very friendly, attentive and ensured that everything we needed was taken care of, thank you to both teams. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely venue, bonus was an outdoor table in the sunshine overlooking the bustling square. We will be back and will gladly spread the word too 😊

The food was excellent in small morsels of pleasure. The waiting staff is attentive and smiling (unlike many London restaurants) and the service was efficient which helped us finish on time for the show.

We went for post-movie food and cocktails and had a great time. The dishes were delicious, the service was excellent, and touches like the meat served on a hot stone really added to the overall experience, will happily return.

Great service and atmosphere, perfect date spot before a movie at Odeon. Food was really tasty and wish it was more in quantity (more pulled pork tacos and donuts per dish). Thank you

I went to the restaurant with my colleagues for a team dinner. I had quite a few questions before booking as a few people in our group had dietary requests. The reservations team (special thanks to Chonticha) were very responsive and handled everything very kindly and politely. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the service was amazing! It was seamless. Real professionals and a very polite team. Thank you to Marco, who seemed to be orchestrating the entire evening, and the rest of the team! The food was really nice and there were loads of great options even for a group of people with loads of different dietary requests. Thank you!

Wonderful pre theatre lunch here. Mexican and Pervian tapas style food was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent - nothing too much trouble for a tricky customer like myself (GF and vegetarian). Perfect location for the West End.

This is a place that's in plain sight in Leicester Square but somehow, still easy to miss. Happened upon it on a quiet Monday night and would highly recommended for the ribeye 🥩 and soft tacos 🌮. The ribeye had the perfect doneness and the soft taco was full of smokey flavour. Clean, modern atmosphere with friendly service. There is also a bar inside that seemed to be busy with margaritas.

This restaurant is attached to a hotel in Leicester Square, great location and ambience is good although quite quiet. We got the short rib and fish taco to start which were both amazing but small- probably about 2-3 bites. Calamari was good too but lacked a sauce. Wings were really juicy but overpriced. We got the rib eye steak which was okay but lacked flavour and they don’t really have any side options to pair. Beef was good too but same again, needs a side. Prices are quite a lot for the portion but may be due to the location. We had £50 off so it was worth it for us.

Fab baja fish Tacos- great tang. Perfect pulled pork + nicey spicy dippy. Flavoursome matchstick chicken. Super service from the moment you enter. Chilled atmosphere with great view of Leicester Square.

B
Ben Nevins

The atmosphere to this place is very high-end business professional vibes which is nice even though I tend to like restaurants with a more unique personal feel. The staff were kind and attentive and the food was good. Some of the tapas were a bit overpriced in my opinion for the small amount of food you get however the presentation to every dish is social media worthy. The paprika chips tasted great. The guacamole tasted more like a salsa than guacamole but still tasted good. Overall, this place is a good choice if you are in the area, in the mood for some moderately spicy Mexican inspired food and looking for a higher-end restaurant to eat in.

Service The waiters who served us were very pleasant. Asking about allergies, setting the table for us, always refilling our water and checking in on us. Made for a relaxed dining experience despite how busy the restaurant was Atmosphere Tastefully decorated, there was lots of light stone and dark woods to accentuate the lighting of the interior. There was no music playing on the day and conversations from table to table were barely audible so it was nice not to shout at those sitting right next or across from you Food The food is incredibly delicious, whilst watching mouthwatering dishes pass by and getting excited for your own. They have a range of different dishes to suit all diets and the presentation is excellent. Not to mention some very interesting twists like a habanero ice cream to go with your chocolate tacos It is recommended by the wait staff to order plates to share with one another. But at these prices, you'd have to be very careful with your wallet as the portion sizes are on the small side

Visited on a Saturday evening after a show - we had no reservation but managed to get a table for two at around 9:30pm (it can be breezy if you’re sat near the entrance, however!) Service was prompt and friendly and the menu is a fusion concept - we ordered from the Mexican side and found most dishes really tasty. The tacos and duck salad were great and the margaritas were fresh. The cauliflower dish, however, is one to avoid - the coating is overspiced and under seasoned, and the cauliflower was raw and crunchy despite us sending it back for more cooking. Overall not a bad meal, and I’d probably drop in again if I found myself in the area with no reservation on a Saturday night!

Had dinner here before a late visit to the National Gallery. Have to say we were both very impressed with the food. Lovely short rib tacos, chicken wings, salad and beef skewers, all served with a selection of very tasty sauces. Service was good and attentive. It was a bit bright and quite quiet despite being a Friday evening, hence marking down a bit for atmosphere, but still a very good evening in a great location for the West End. Would recommend.

Went on a Friday afternoon for a team lunch. The staff were very helpful. Had late lunch from 2pm. The place was empty, which gave us a lot of time to chill and catchup on a sunny friday afternoon. The starters and mains were amazing! Mini tacos and beef sliders took top spot for me! Dessert flavours were a little too adventurous for me.

K
Karan Khokhar

Great location, the tacos were well presented. Love the spice level. A bit pricy for the quantity but delicious.

Nice restaurant with different food. Modernist look with pleasant deco and good atmosphere. The calamari as starter was good but not exceptional. The main smoked paprika ribs with mezcal glaze on the other hand was really good, the meat coming off the bone almost just by looking at it and the glaze was great. However it came without any side so i ordered the cilantro lime rice, quite potent but it went quite well with the ribs. The taco xocolatl as a dessert had a nice touch with the orange agave salsa. All in all, the food is good but not exceptional, although for the area is reasonably priced. Staff are polite and professional but don't engage much, and in my opinion even other Kitchen restaurants are better in food, atmosphere and service.

A
Ana Cardoso Cachopo

Delicious food, very nice and attentive staff. I had read some reviews saying that the doses are really small, but at the beginning of the meal they do suggest that each person chooses 3-4 doses. If you follow their advice, it's enough food, and you get to taste different things. It's not cheap, but it's excellent.

Went here for a meal woth work colleagues. We had pre-ordered the meals. Service was good and the staff were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. The food was good and the chocolate fondant was delicious!

We booked here because the set menu looked good, but in hindsight it would’ve been better to order normal menu. The mains in the set menu were really underwhelming, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

N
Naomi Fusco

Food was quite good, we tried a few things like tacos, sweet potatoes fries, cassava chips, Mexican rice, tacos, ceviche and seabream. They all were tasty, probably the seabream was the one we likes the least. Staff was friendly however despite the place wasn't full, the service at the beginning was quite slow. We then requested to sit somewhere else due to the too loud music. We were not expecting to find a DJ playing in a restaurant, it's a nice idea but really leaves very little space for human interactions. Overall was fine but I wouldn't go back.

J
Joanne T

Sharing plates. Dinner was good but portions were a bit small. All the dishes were unexpectedly extremely spicy. The service however was really bad. Mango in the con lèche was raw but the dessert was still decent. We had the lychee martini and the spicy yuzu pisco sour which were both good

N
Nadja

Came in here for some drinks on a bank holiday afternoon. There was a large variety of drinks on offer, however the staff were slightly unhelpful. We went to sit by the bar and they tried to make us sit outside when we didn’t want too, then they encouraged us to sit in another area which you couldn’t order drinks from. We then resorted back to the area we initially wanted to be seated. The staff once we ordered were friendly. Very nicely decorated venue for a more upmarket drinks afternoon.

M
Matthew

I must say after all the hype and reading the reviews I was hoping this would be amazing but this was bitterly disappointing. From the very inattentive service to the cluttered tables, the ambience of the location was really poor. Suppose they squash people in to allow for the DJ. In terms of the food, charging £11 for five tiny winglets is a bit insulting and the robata grilled corn was so bland, not sure where all this lime and seasoning was. £7 for chips is the biggest joke. A few fries with a touch of salt is hilarious. The skewers were better but again £20 for roughly eight cubes of meat is awful value. The only thing that was really good was the mexican rice but barring a few jalapenos chucked in didn't know what qualified as mexican to me. Broccoli and Kale were good but for most would be too spicy but unless you asked you wouldn't know what the seasoning would do to the veg. A bill of £75 for 6 of these tapas style dishes and a bottle of still mineral water even for London is awful value for money

R
Rose M

Went there for dinner. The table for two’s are extremely tiny. Servers were nice, place was nice Had heard quite a bit about the nice food However we ordered four plates for two and paid over £50 to come out hungry! The portion sizes are extremely tiny Never been to a place like this before Prices are quite high for the amount of food you get. The soft tacos are literally 1 bite and the dish has two. Nothing comes as sides or anything else. Quite disappointing small plates You start to enjoy the flavour , the plates are empty!! Won’t be going back.

Having found this place online, we had high hopes. The food sounded great, reviews were good, and it was a two-minute walk from the theatre we were attending. Their set menu seemed like a great option, so we booked a table. Once seated, we had to wait five minutes before being offered a menu. Even then, it didn't include the set menu, which we had to specifically request. We ordered our drinks, only to be told they only had two beers from a choice of six or seven on the menu. You would think a Mexican/Peruvian restaurant would have local beers to match the food, but I ended up with a Peroni. The starters arrived quickly and were both delicious. The duck salad in particular was superb. No complaints there. Then the service seemed to stop. It wasn't busy; all the tables around us had their orders, but we sat there waiting. With our show starting soon, we tried to get someone's attention, but the staff were nowhere to be seen or walking around with blinkers on. After eventually getting the attention of our waitress, she assured us our mains were just coming. At no point were we asked if we wanted a second drink, but to be honest, we only wanted one quick drink with dinner and to be out in well under an hour. Paying for more drinks because their service is outrageously slow would be even more annoying. It was pretty obvious our main courses had been forgotten, as another ten minutes passed with no food appearing. We were also quite clearly being ignored while they hurriedly prepared our main courses. After managing to grab her attention for a second time, I pointed out we'd been there for an hour and 20 minutes, and this was getting beyond a joke. Her answer was "I already told you, it's just coming". The food did arrive a few minutes later, so I immediately asked for the bill, which still included the optional service charge. Given the wait, this was insulting. While the mains were both very tasty, having to eat them as quickly as humanly possible certainly reduced the enjoyment. Since it was a set menu, we assumed it would be served with a token amount of accompanying sides. Instead, we had just a piece of chicken on a plate and three sliders. When ordering from an à la carte menu, it's quite normal to select your sides separately, but when it's a set menu, you really expect it to be a little more complete. It just looked a bit lonely and underwhelming. The starters were described as small plates, but the signature dishes are clearly small plates too. We left disappointed.

L
Lesa DixonGray

It’s an attractive, over-priced, tourist restaurant with great atmosphere and lousy food. While the spice level is pretty good, don’t expect chef-level meals. The food is a poor attempt at both Mexican and Peruvian cuisine. Both their tomato salad (the marinade tastes like a combination of windex and kerosene) and buñuelos were awful. It’s annoying to spend a ton of money on bad food.

Has this happened to you that you see signs but simply putting them aside because you made up your mind based on some pre-determined criteria like reviews and ratings? Well; this is what happened to me this evening. I found this restaurant in TripAdvisor. The restaurant rating is #43 in 22,627, so your expectation and excitement is raised quite high. I jumped to fork to book a table and saw that there are empty tables from 5:30PM right to the closing time on Saturday evening (sign#1). It also offered 20% discounts for all the time slots for a high-rated restaurant in London (sign#2). I booked anyway! When arrived, we were ushered to our table. I checked the wine menu and selected a Pinot Noir from Roussillon. My wife requested a suggestion from the waitress and she replied “I don’t drink, so I don’t know” (sign#3). She brought my wine carafe that I ordered but didn’t bring the bottle so I check the wine and the year (sign#4). The carafe was dirty and the wine was warmer than it should and the glass was not for Pinot (sign#5). Please check the pictures I attached. From this point on, it was clear that we made a mistake in relying on the reviews and the rating. They brought the starter before my wife’s drink arrived (sign#6). They brought my wife’s drink which she had a sip only and that was it. They brought my steak and listen to this one; they didn’t bring me a steak knife. When I asked for a steak knife, they said they don’t have one and the steak is already cut, so no need !!!! So they’ve already decided on the bite size that I have to eat (sign#?). The cutlery was amazing; short and light. We left the restaurant after paying £150 for the dinner I described. Don’t remind me my mistakes, but with respect, who were the other 2,600 people reviewing this restaurant? The sparkling water was good; it was genuine Pellegrino.

Recently I had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant that served some of the most delicious food, however, I have to mention that the portion sizes were disappointingly small. That being said, I also do feel that the prices were incredibly high given the stingy sizes. By the way, these are not fancy gourmet ornamented plates. While the quality of the food was undeniable, I left feeling hungry. Tables were also small and uncomfortable. While the staff was attentive, they seemed a bit overeager to clear plates and rush us through our meal. There were several instances where we were asked if we were finished with a dish before we had even taken our last -incredibly tiny- bite. At this point you want to finish the meal alone and in peace. I also found that the staff was a bit pushy in trying to get us to order additional items. They are aware of the flaws in the main courses proportions. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and would advise diners to order a lot of extra dishes to ensure that they leave feeling slightly satisfied. It reminded me of phoebe criticizing Monica’s restaurant: I ordered the appetizer but I can’t see it I can’t see it!

L
Luke Skelton

Once we arrived we was informed everything on the menu was a share size, but when we received our food we was bitterly disappointed, between 2 of us we barely managed to get 2 forks worth each of lobster, and the little sliders were very tiny as well, for £77 I was pretty unimpressed

G
Gopal Krishan Sharma

Food was just okay.It was not that great when it comes to the preparation. We had a big gathering dinner here and this did not meet our expectation. The restaurant was empty on Friday evening and this should have been a good indicator on the quality. The cocktails were just okay, nothing extra ordinary for the price. There are many other options next to this place serving better food and experience. We ordered several items but the serving portion was not at all near to the normal appetite. Go only if you want to taste the dish and not to have a meal. Not so recommended place to be honest.
